Although they seem to have gone out of business, as a former director of this company I wanted to set the record straight about the information on their website. I was brought in to build a team to develop world-class data analytics to rival Palantir on scale-up compute architectures to sell to federal government agencies, including HHS, NASA, IRS and others. Initially the owners were all in, but once I and other directors began hiring competent employees from MIT, Carnegie Mellon, Johns Hopkins, etc. to actually develop the advanced analytics we were brought in for the objectives shifted continuously until it became clear to all that the goal all along was to sell $2M computers rather than analytics, despite the fact that my team won two prestigious national and international awards for our analytics. The owners began implementing radical, company-wide strategy changes and reallocating human and financial resources every three months, which made us all think these decisions were tied to quarterly financials rather than any long-term vision or strategy. This created chaos within the company and made it impossible for anyone to do their job effectively. At one point towards the end of my time there, the cyber security director had just hired several new analytics experts who turned down other jobs to work for FedCentric when he was told by management not to bring them onboard. The morale at this company was abysmal due exclusively to bizarre owner/management decisions that perplexed everyone. If this company attempts to restart/rehire new recruits, I strongly recommend you think twice before turning down other offers. And be very cautious when reading overly optimistic or positive reviews about FedCentric. They are likely not true.
