Fay-Penn Economic Development Council Review

1st, the website. It's dated 2017. That's the tip off - to what, who knows. They do pay for web services that clearly aren't being done to any standard. Next, we have animal cruelty. Moving on, lack of accountability to the local taxpayers that pay for this place and it's "locally" designed website that looks like a cross between a 3rd world company and a defunct company from the 00's from before they had smart phones.

So many red flags. And I've just been at this for a few minutes... sounds like somebody is on a power trip...

Disgusting display of cruelty. Destroying the only shelter strays have right before the harshest part of winter. It's not like you are going to do anything with this property at this time of the year. Let alone tearing the hearts out of some elderly ladies trying their best to care for them. Do sleep well at night?

Terrible terrible people. Do not do business with them.

I hope the TNR group that has been servicing YOUR cats for the last 10 years sues you for ALL of the vet services, TNR equipment, bait for traps, food, water, expenses incurred when they vetted and fostered kittens so they could have a better life, GAS etc. for taking care of YOUR cats! Your corporation should be held responsible for EVERYTHING regarding the care and upkeep of that colony. Apparently this is NOT something new... if this has been going on for 10 years. The cats on YOUR property will die a very slow painful death due to starvation and illness. They are used to being fed daily and will not know how to survive on their own. YOUR corporation should be charged with numerous M3's for torture and the Felonies for the deaths of EACH cat that dies because of your actions. Sleep easy knowing Karma will come to you 10 fold.

This company has got to rank right up there with Monsanto in the compassion and caring department. To destroy the homes of animals that weren't harming anyone and depended on the kindness of others to stay warm and fed is nothing short of heartless. For anyone who isn't familiar with their cruelty, here is a description:

"Tonight the colony cats at the FayPenn Industrial Park are freezing and hungry due to the actions of FayPenn development officials - Bob Shark and Earl Miller. Being the macho kind of guys that they are, they sent bulldozers to level the winter boxes and feeding stations which had been part of a colony cat project for over 10 years.

After 10 years of feeding, spaying/neutering, vaccinating and rehoming cats from the FayPenn Industrial Park the caregivers were ordered by an officer at the Union Town State Police Barracks to stop caring for the cats or be arrested. Yes, those 60 and 70 year old ladies armed with food bowls and water are quite the threat to security! At no time did the caregivers ever receive anything in writing from either the police or FayPenn.

With just a few days notice to remove the winter boxes and the cats, the caregivers sent a certified letter to Bob Shark the executive officer at FayPenn to request a meeting. He did not reply. They (myself included) went to FayPenn to try to get a meeting with Mr Shark. Although we were able to catch him for a brief discussion on the stairwell, he lawyered up and said he was not allowed to talk to us.

I followed up with an e-mail this morning but also got no reply. The bulldozers were already rolling.

Today the cats are suffering. They are looking for their homes, their food and their families."

Those responsible for this inhumane action should rot in hell. I hope someday they find out what it's like to be cold and hungry. FU Fay-Penn.

Seems these people are starving a cat colony that has been cared for over 10 yrs buckle up. We are going to expose you ..

This is a disgusting situation with Fay Penn bullying elderly people who have been caring for these cats for years. Bulldozing their little houses and feeding bowls! It makes me sick. I hope you guys get tarred and feathered by the locals and also by the facebook animal lovers. You need to reimburse the volunteers for the equipment and for the expenses involved with trapping and caring for the displaced cats. Scrooge and the Grinch combined have nothing on you people.

Actions speak louder than words...very uncaring company.

The name Fay=Penn will always be synonymous with cruelty. Destroying the shelters for all of those innocent animals at the start of winter really sucks and now this news will continue to be spread until you fix what you did.

If I could give zero stars, I would. No compassion. Can't just leave the feral colonies as is. I'm so tired of greedy, heartless individuals.

Never do business with folks who mow down folks that have less power than them- because if they can manage it, you'll be their next mark.

These monsters destroyed a feral cat colony housing program that has been there for 10 years in the middle of winter. They are starving the animals and freezing them to death. Monsters!
