The dining environment and service are OK, but the crabs are really delicious.
The dining environment and service are OK, but the crabs are really delicious.
Always expect a 30minute sit down time for good food.
Good Food, reasonably priced, planty of tables, all cash payments, long waiting line, No bookings, Pork free, close on Mondays.
You can't eat it in Korea! Chicken wings are a must
Love the chilli crab. Savory, a bit sour and spicy. But in my most recent visit to the shop which was last week, the taste was not as good as the ones I had during my previous visits to this restaurant. Including the fried rice. I had better before.
Overpriced could get better crab dishes in other chinese restaurant
Food and service was good. Didnt get to take a picture of the crab, as I was too hungry so aftermath it is.
Ordered the chicken wings, crab, toasted bread, and their famous nasi goreng. There were 9 of us, and spent about RM50 each. Pretty decent price!
Great Crab. The sauce was really unique, was sweet, sour and spicy at the same time. Taste abit similar chilli sauce from Uncle Soon Fried Rice in SS15. Typical meal is crab with fried rice and toast. Price was around rm150 for 2pax fried rice and 1.2kg (about 3) of crab.
Nice fresh seafood and loves their big sweet & spicy crabs.
Long queue for tables so maybe can consider takeaway. Was informed by locals that this is a tourist trap but for food is good enough to cater to crowd within that location, else you'll need to travel further to Klang. Most well know dish is chili crab, but note that this is not the Singapore chili crab version. It is chili and crabs.
3.5* eat Crab and crab fried rice. Eat if its not crowded. Go at 5pm. Not worth the wait when its super crowded, like every single night.
No queue during MCO, even at 749pm (peak hours). Tables were distanced properly, and fast service! Loved their crabs!
Impeccable service, amazing food... Feeling like in heaven every time I come
Scrumptious crab that I always visit since young, especially their spicy crab but their crab is not as fresh as before and getting smaller but always our first choice when we are craving for crab. The queue is very long all the time so be earlier like 5pm or after 8pm, sometimes after 8pm it's still a long queue. Their satay, chicken wings, fish and fried rice is a must to order too! Malay customers are welcome too
Thought the food is nice. Came out it's just extremely normal. Too expensive for this kind of food quality.
This restaurant is overly overrated. There's far more better options at this price.
Also, one star for the services provided by one of the waitress. She is very impatient and rude since the begining.
Worth to try the chili crabs. It s taste yummy to dip the gravy with the toast bread. Yummyyyy...
Great crabs and satay, but always extremely busy so be prepared to wait and line up on the road. A local institution!
My favourite place. Obviously spice crab and pro tip - order the chicken wings while you wait. Long waits and unfriendly staff though.
Sweet sour crab sauce + fried rice = comboade in heaven
The crab, the fried rice, the chicken wing, the sauce, the bread is absolutely make you want to come back again.
Crabs are not fresh and the steamed fish is a bit over priced.
A very well known restaurant with so many branches, the chili crab is an absolute favorite! With a side of fantastic chicken wings, I would normally opt to have the food with some fried rice. If there is a lady or man selling pineapples give it a go too because it is super sweet and worth a try. Not pleased that sometimes the quality isn't consistent, but when it's good, they do a good job!
I just went to this so called famous crab restaurant. The crab taste like yucks and I guess it's very old stock, the crab meat was in yellow and a bit hard. And the gravy totally out, even my mum can cook better crab curry at house. First and last to this restaurant.
Long queue as usual, food taste good, but not fantastic.
One and only spicy crab recipe .....VERY delicious but no value for money. Be prepare for at least half an hour wait ...it's worth it.
Crab here only serve 2 style. If you're planning to eat here do come early about 6pm as it gets crowded pretty fast and the queue would be long.
The restaurant is rude with ppl serving the customer!
Phthaling Jaya Patty Crab is the original ... No other area is tasty ... Must try in Malay ..
First time trying chili crabs. The taste was amazing and the spice level was good
If you want to have crab, this is the place to go. This specialist restaurant has been around for many years. Quality has maintained well, with higher prices over time. Multi racial patrons. Its spicy sour sauce to fry its crab is the selling point. You can have satay, grilled chicken wings while you wait for your crab. Many regulars with some tourists. The queue before getting a table is a challenge. It's worth it and people don't mind queueing.
The crab had a lot of meat. Also per pax the price came to about RM 60 per pax
My favorite ... Chilli crab, chicken wing, toast and fried rice plus sugar cane juice
My favourite place for chilli crabs. Look at the empty plates and the satisfying faces you will know why we choose this place. To avoid long queue, be there before 16:45.
Ok lorr.. but always crowded need to queue some more
Very famous sour spicy Crab in Petaling Jaya , must order fried rice and chicken wing . Price quite expensive
, order small plate Crab + small fried rice for 1 person + 3 piece chicken wing cost around RM 100 for 2 person ... But Very nice
I find the sauce so so . Crab meat is fresh . Love the satay and the fried rice . No WiFi available. Only two flavors of crab for you to choose . Rm 55 /600gram.
It is hot because there is no air conditioner, but the taste is happy. Crab eating is a little uncomfortable.
The best crab in town i must say. I dont usually eat crab. So this is the only place i go to eat them. You must try the spicy crab, fried rice and the chicken wings.
Price wise its not cheap. Roughly around rm30 above depending on what u order.
Kida can eat too. Their fried rice is not spicy. Chicken wings or sate also can be ordered for kids.
Queue can be crazy sometimes. They open at 5 so come before 7pm to avoid queue
Thick and flavourful. I like the mixed one without innards and some enoki mushrooms.
Must try their signature crab. Spicy and sour gravy dip with toast. Also their chicken wing and fried rice.
Their crabs are the best! I absolutely love the chicken wings and teow chew steam fish! Although waiting line is very long, it's best to go in large groups to avoid the long line. Certainly a must.
Priced at RM55.00 per kati. As always, sauce is second to none. Superb.
We went to Fatty crab for the first time today, arrived there just after 9 pm. it was not very crowded, we got the table as soon as we entered.
We ordered the famous Crab and fried rice, we wanted to order chicken wings but it was already out of stock.
The fried rice was good, just the usual taste. portion size was good, one was sufficient for 2 of us.
The crab was tasty, eating crab is usually tricky and they provide tools to cut and eat it. It gets a little messy, but the taste is very distinct and flavorful. Worth the visit!
Food is awesome. Be prepared to queue if you arrive after 6pm. Also they tend to miss out on chicken wings orders.
