An institution which consistently pleases regulars and a must bring place for visitors to Kuala Lumpur in spite of its suburban locations. Chilli Crab with must have traditional toast, Chicken wings and Fried rice are staples. Add on satay for bigger groups. Come really early as soon as it opens to avoid queues.

The worst sweet sour spicy crab i have ever tasted. Not much variety. Crabs and prawns so small. No vege. Only chicken wings worth eating and that too were from a stall selling at the side, not from Fatty Crab kitchen. Ordered garlic prawns which had no taste. Chilli sauce from the bottle as dip sauce for prawns. This was my first and the last patronising this restaurant.

This is the best place to have chilli crabs. Don't take anything else as substitute. Seafood / chinese retaurants cant beat its special sauce. Once bitten, forever smitten. After more than a decade eating here - the quality has remained the same. Simply marvellous.

A delicious club shop in Kuala Lumpur. You can order in grams.
The photo is 1.2k, and it is just right to order satay, chicken wing, toast and fried rice with a mast. It is really delicious to eat the toast with sauce. But it's spicier than it looks.
Satay and chicken were rented, so it was a separate account.

Got a referral from a friend that this place is a must eat in KL. And indeed the chilli crab is good. Eventhough from the look of it, it looks like the sauce has a lot of cornstarch, but the taste is very good. A little spicy, a little sour, a little sweet. Very good. They also have chicken wings but I find it subpar when compare to the crab. Thank @dada.tastes for the recommendations.

4.2 points (2,385 people) This is an immense rating, so I took the absolute expectation that it would never fail. The price is twice that of Kota Kinabalu, half the freshness, no sauce, no edge. Chicken Wings are just homemade chicken tempura.

It's a lot of people and it's unkind, but the price is cheap and it tastes good. Patty Crab 2 Wings 4 Wings Fried Rice 1 Wet the beer with water and only a total of 120 ringgit came out. However, it was a pity that it was not a card and was only a cash. In Malaysia, I admit that it was the most delicious restaurant

it's delicious! The crab, shrimp, and fried rice were all delicious. 3 crabs, 12 shrimps, a pile of fried rice, and deep-fried bread were cleared with 2 kids and 2 ajumma. This is typical of a local restaurant.

There's a lot of people so need to queue up quite early especially during dinner time. they didn't provide more choices , but all provided food are their signatures. It serves pork free, hence also have muslims having meal there. Their crab is really nice taste, serve fast, if feel need to wait long, there also have other food stall sell chicken wing.

This restaurant only serves 8 dishes. But they have master it to God level that so many people willing to queue for their foods.

They serve 2 types of crab - spicy sour and steam only. Personally I like the steam one coz it taste more fresh than the spicy sour one. However I see people order bread to dip the spicy sour sauce. (which I think should taste quite good as well)

Prawn is another highlight here, cooked with some fried garlic, and you can really taste the freshness of those big prawns.

Other than that, you can order some fried chicken/satay/fried rice to go with ur meal.

However the price would be more expensive but that's what u pay for good seafood in town.

One last note is that they only accept cash payment.

Crab and chicken wing are very good, strongly recommended. Fried rice is decent too. Satay is below average, you can get better elsewhere. Quite limited choice but overall a nice restaurant if you love crab.

This restaurant is very popular with Malaysians of all races as no pork is served. This is one of our favourite places to have seafood. Their crabs cooked in spicy sour sauce is much sought after. We ordered toasted bread that we dipped into the sauce. In addition we ordered a plate of fried rice, also much sought after. We were overall satisfied with our meal although the crabs were a tad small. Anyway we polished up everything including the sauce . Be sure to go there early as the place tends to be crowded. During this CMCO they are opened at 4pm. I have forgotten the closing time. Sorry!

One of the long established and very popular seafood restaurant specialising on its brand of fresh mud crab meal cooked in spicy sour plum sauce and eaten together with toasted bread slices dipped with the yummy sauce. The menu is limited to fried rice and few other home cooked dishes. For the longer waiting, most patrons would order first the delicious fried chicken wings to savoured. Very crowded during weekends and prices are reasonable.

We only try the fried rice and crab. For the fried rice really taste normal, and I think many other Chinese restaurants taste better than this. For the crab, hmmmmmmm, if u can travel abit further please try at seremban crab, this fatty crab really nothing special for me

Taste is consistently good over the years - the sweet chilli crab is particularly great. Come early (we lined up at 5.45 pm) and only got our seats half hour later. The line was crazy long outside the restaurant by the time we were seated (granted it was a Sunday and a holiday eve)

Every time you come to KL, you must eat Fatty Crab (actually PJ?) Every time I order sour and spicy crabs, fried rice and fried chicken (forgot to take pictures), I always remember the deliciousness. It is recommended to go on weekdays and there are too many people on holidays. There is a great organic bakery nearby called Panya Bakery which is also recommended!

Original place in a rather chinese area of KL. Crabs, shrimps and side dishes are great, as are the chicken wings offered in the same place. Furnishing is basic, as usual for street food markets.

Make sure to come early after opening to get a place, otherwise the queue will be unacceptably long.
