Good afternoon,
I recently visited hotel de Witte in Vught with a request.
I volunteer at a foundation that fulfills the dreams of traumatized children, in order to break the negative spiral these children find themselves in. This gives them courage for the future and energy to believe in their dreams.
Part of the dream day is to have a bite to eat at the end of the day.
The favorite food is a plate of lasagna, we would like to eat this with three children and three adults at your restaurant.
After three visits, an email and two phone calls, we received a message from the receptionist that the general manager did not want to cooperate.
This was a disappointment, I expected that a large organization such as De Valk would have had their heart in the right place. Taking into account that you are called upon more often.
Surely it would have been very polite if the general manager had not dealt with this request by letting a receptionist speak to us, but had personally made the effort.

Go out for dinner on our wedding day with a social deal offer, from 29.50 for 19.50.
We knew that the choice was not huge with this offer, choice of 3 starters, main and desserts.
We both had the surimi salad and for a main course my wife had the Japanese salmon steak and I the chicken thigh piri piri.
We got the salad, but to our surprise there was a small scoop of surimi salad on top and some surimi flakes on the lettuce.
The bowl was so big that the whole bowl was filled with lettuce without dressing.
There was so much lettuce in it that it was just impossible to eat the whole salad.
Then the main course, my wife got 3 small pieces of salmon with very little flavor to it.
I like the chicken thighs piri piri, the chicken thighs were very tasty, I ate all these out, but the piri piri with pasta was impossible, it had an unpleasant aftertaste.
We even got fries, baked potatoes and spinach.
My wife asked for mayonnaise and we got it, but to our surprise we had to pay for it extra.
While if you would eat a-la-carte it is served without extra costs.
The chips were completely drenched in the cooking oil and the spinach looked bad.
Finally, we asked if we could exchange the dessert for a coffee, fortunately, because we were really fed up with this offer.
The service was very friendly and did not come up with the idea of accommodating us.
We did not think this was recommended and for us no more Van der Valk Vught.

Very friendly people. Very cordial you immediately feel very welcome. A warm bath.

It is a very good hotel, just a pity that we could not turn our reservation into a shopping package. Now this overnight stay has cost us 100 euros more than we intended. This was a huge damper.

Cold food. Toast for 1 of the kids lasted 15 minutes after we had our main course.

Very friendly personnel and a good business lunch place

First day was fine but day 2 in the restaurant was terrible eg 45 minutes waiting for soup. You were not asked if you would like to have a drink when your glass was empty. Other guests who asked for the bill were asked by an arrogant waiter if it could also be on a different tone but those people did nothing wrong.

Great service, professional, rooms modern, just no towel hooks.

We were received very unfriendly at the reception after a day at Beekse Bergen.
After a quarter of an hour the receptionist interrupted her telephone conversation to see if we could not be allocated our room quickly.
We just had to wait because she was working on a client.
There you are with a daughter of 3.5 who is exhausted after a day of Beekse Bergen.
Angered me, the customer on the phone could still wait 30 seconds after which we were handed the key without explaining where the room was or where breakfast was, only for the tourist tax she still had time.
Now you have to know that we had already checked in in the afternoon but there was still no room available so it was only the key and a little explanation.
Very indignant about the reception never experienced.

The food was good and friendly but the toilets are miles away and difficult to reach!

Good service. Nice terrace. Good wine . The hotel is easily accessible by bicycle.

Good food and excellent service worthy of Van der Valk

It's second time in this hotel and I enjoyed it very much. Very cosy rooms and restaurant. You shouldn't miss the breakfast - it has a biiiig variety of food and things that can be prepares on the spot by the local chef. If you have money and time, rest in Van der Valk and you won't be disappointed.

Extremely clean and tidy. Corona wise .... The dining room was very full. Despite the summer temperatures, the hotel does not wish to use the huge terrace. Clearly a downside in these uncertain times.
The breakfast buffet is delicious but my God, packed. Distance is absolutely impossible.
Staff were also not protected except for gloves. So Corona wise a big fail.

The Social deal vegetarian spaghetti was not what I expected, but I could trade it for the tongue without any problems. It was delicious!

I went with my girlfriend and my mother to eat today and waited 50 minutes after we ordered and and then we asked where our food was and it turned out that the order never reached the kitchen. When we finally got our food my mixed grill tasted badly burned and made to make liquid. As compensation we received a drink for free. In the past, the ministry still looked after (dirty shirt mathijs)
No, this visit was disappointing, even though we have been coming for 20 years. A little external maintenance would also not be out of place

It is always a great experience at VdValkVught. Now only for a quick cup of coffee but neat service and a welcome feeling. Soon dinner again I think.

We have Sunday lunch at the White; my fish salad was disgraceful. For 15 EUR a lot of lettuce, few Dutch small shrimp, shredded salmon should you look for and the tuna salad was much mayonnaise and fat. Price quality totally out of proportion. Lunch was worth less than 6 euros. Dear management, go and have lunch at La Coure in Den Bosch and learn from this. These are fish salads of 15 euros; price quality entirely in proportion!

Rustic furnishings. Not very massive! Good lunch menu.

Good service, the tongue is a recommendation always well baked the lady blanche is also delicious with dark chocolate sauce just a pity that the menu is made somewhat smaller and some dishes are no longer there.

Nice hotel, neat and clean. Top service with a very tasty and well organized breakfast. Taxi service from hotel to center very well arranged. Customer friendly and social. Corona measures are well maintained, sufficient alcohol pumps and temperature gauge. Had a great stay.

We went here for the Father's Day brunch ... Poor service, very busy, little choice in terms of bread and food. Basically my worst experience with one of the falcon hotels so far.

Super hotel, nice, neat, clean room. Great breakfast and nice staff.
By taxi to and from the center is also super arranged for 5 euros per ride. Taxi was there within fifteen minutes when we called. Walking is an option and takes half an hour.

Rooms were nice clean, nice beds slept well. Nice staff in the restaurant. Less enthusiastic about the kitchen, tastes were somewhat incoherent. Did not fit well together. I also got a puree on my plate that could not be traced, I tasted a lot of nutmeg. I also ate on my own and dear a glass of water was immediately put a liter bottle on the table that was a little hilarious but did not say anything. I was just sitting at the table where a lot went wrong ... can happen. Neatly and adequately resolved by the restaurant staff, also my 2nd attempt at the wine and main course was more attentive and enjoyed it. Finally had a great evening and stayed nice!

Good business hotel with pleasant staff.
Two big negative points:
- the restaurant expensive and not refined at all
- insufficient lighting in the bedroom

That's right, this is not the latest v.d. Falcon. We have been here several times, we have reported almost everywhere that we are taking packages and Vught is well suited with 's Hertogenbosch nearby. We can complain here, yes somewhat, but it is more destiny. Every time we came here we were allocated a room a long way from the reception and the restaurant and the like. a good walk every time is no problem and healthy when you are young, but my wife's heart patient cannot walk that far. If you have to ask for a different room, yes that might be the solution, but then we won't do that for those few days. I just want to indicate, you can sometimes have bad luck and next time we will definitely ask for a room closer, and then it must be resolved. As mentioned, everything is somewhat dated, but not uncomfortable. The food is good, we have not had any problems, but if there are any, report it and if it is not resolved properly, then you have a point. v.d. Valk Vught also has a terrace, looks nice in itself, but so close to the road, but also somewhat dated. We will see what it will be like when people start renovating or building new ones.

Centrally located in the south of the country, directly on the A2 hotel with sufficient parking spaces and meeting rooms. From coffee and tea to lunch and dinner very well cared for. And very tasty and extensive. Staff is friendly and the cook knows what he is preparing. It is quiet inside and you have no noise pollution whatsoever. There is a separate play area for the children. For the evening you are in Den Bosch. Only a few kilometers and you are in the center. You can sleep here too, but not yet tried

Spacious room, great parking, helpful and friendly staff. Nice offer: 3 = 2. Three nights stay with breakfast, 2 nights pay.

In terms of location and facilities, it is fine. But man my man, how often it takes forever before you can order something. Then again an eternity before you can pay. Would really help if that could be solved.

Always a fan of the vandervalk group. Super breakfast. There is always parking. Spacious modern rooms with balconies etc ... even in the Bosch simply top.

Tasty dishes on the menu although the service still left something to be desired

We have used a good lunch. I found the place where we were sitting comfortable and looking good. Staff seemed friendly to me. Food was delivered on time. For the money they asked for the meal salad and what I got for it, I didn't think it was realistic. It was tasty but for a meal salad on the scanty side. Chicken on the salad was a lot. I thought other dishes that were eaten look good and delicious. Overall a nice place to eat.

Versatile hotel ... where we booked the comfort room and found it MORE than comfortable enough. Some old-age symptoms here and there, but due to the good order and cleanliness, this hardly stood out.
