A little hard to get around with the construction going on all over (it sometimes feels like).
My daughter attends FIT, she worked very hard to get accepted. A great place to learn if that is your field of study.
Good Luck all FIT students with your future. You worked so hard to get here your rewards should be plentiful and personally satisfying.

First year in school, just finish my first semester , all of my professor is very very effective in teaching , love my FBM first semester, love my BSN professor Christine Straggazi, very smart lecturer knows how to help you with professional growth. Best learning experience so far. If you came here to learn Fashion knowledges and willing to work hard, this place is a heaven, if you just want to waste time this place will be a hell for you.

The Fashion Institute of Technology is a public college in New York City. It is part of the State University of New York and focuses on art, business, design, mass communication, and technology connected to the fashion industry. I want to study Trade, in the global context. I think I will have aan amazing experience and intend to marticulate after graduating from the City University of New York, majoring in Communication Studies.

My old alma mater. My home away from home. I'm a proud graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, and I'm happy to pass by Seventh Avenue and Twenty-seventh Street anytime I can, simply to relive memories of when I was a General Illustration student here.

Current (pandemic) conditions sadly mean I cannot currently ENTER any of the buildings, but if I'm in the area on a sunny day, I'll simply sit outside on one of the many campus benches or alcoves with a good book and have a lunch, reminiscing when my fellow artists and I would do the exact same thing between classes. As much as I learned about painting and drawing, I learned just as much about friendships, relationships, and LIFE in general that have guided me through my personal path in the ensuing years.

Some of those friendships and relationships have ended - some regretfully - and others miraculously and happily carry on. As have the artistic lessons I learned from F.I.T., the place, and I say this with no small amount of exaggeration, that changed my life for the better.

If you're reading this, and you happen to be a graduate of this school, you'll know what I mean. And if you're reading this and thinking of ATTENDING this institution, you'll EVENTUALLY know what I mean.
