Nice visitor's center, tons of local, ND and MN in...
Nice visitor's center, tons of local, ND and MN information. The best part though is the Fargo movie memorabilia, complete with the original wood chipper, scripts, and props. Very fun!

Fun walk of fame and always cool to see the wood chipper.
This center was a surprise of information. My wife and I enjoyed it! A must stop for your dinosaur lover.
Really helpful and friendly staff...and loved seeing the Fargo memorabilia
I literally went here to film a Tiktok video about the wood chipper from the movie Fargo. Lol. Staff was very kind, a lil too eager but something you should at least visit once and hey, it's free!
Beautiful facility. Friendly, knowledgeable staff! Great welcome to Fargo!
I was here for the start of the FM Geocaching Tour.
Very helpful group! Nice collection of information about the whole community. And who can pass up taking their picture with the woodchipper
Whether you're an FM native or just passing through, you can't go wrong with a stop at the CVB. Check out local memorabilia from the cult classic film "Fargo," including the infamous Woodchipper. Need help or a recommendation from a local? You can't find friendlier, more helpful folks than the ones who work here.
Pro tip: check out the two top-notch geocaches placed on FMCVB property.
The Fargo-Moorhead Visitor's Center and Celebrity Walk of Fame are definitely worth stopping by to visit while in Fargo or passing through town. They have a glass case full of props (from the film) including an original script and the famous woodchipper itself - used in the film and signed by the directors: Joel and Ethan Coen.
Make sure to stop here and get your coupon book if you are visiting.
The iconic wood chipper is great if you've seen the movie, but I haven't, so my opinion doesn't touch on that. The restrooms were very clean and accessible. It's wonderful for the center to offer the option of opening the doors using paper towels to stop the spread of germs, especially in the winter. The information brochure selecting is astounding. From mainline to obscure, you can find something fun to do for everyone and anyone, guaranteed. They offer a very wide selection of merchandise and souvenirs, many things not found at other visitor centers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and it shows that the kind woman at the desk is dedicated to her job. She truly enjoys being there, and it shows in her attitude. With a building as gorgeous and masterfully engineered to capture the essence of how important farming is to North Dakota, the staff really made the center a place worth visiting.
Bonus: The original movie screenplay is available to read. Hollywood can claim many things, but this is unique to the center and really gives the center its own piece of fame to claim.
10/10 would pretend falling into wood chipper again
A great little visitors center, especially for fans of the movie Fargo.
Fun visitor's center! You can get a picture taken with the "Fargo" woodchipper in a hat and holding a wood block. The ladies there were very nice, lots of travel brochures available and they sell t-shirts and other souvenirs.
Great staff, very helpful. Nice place with tables to sit and look at all infomation they have.
Good place to visit when in Fargo to get information about the town, and of course see the wood chipper from the movie Fargo. They also had free popcorn which was a plus and they had post cards and other novelties to get to remember your time in beautiful Fargo North Dakota.
Very helpful people. They were able give me several great places to visit in Fargo.
Was an interesting spot I guess a lot of people visiting all states save Dakotas for last
Love the Fargo/Moorhead area, grew up about 50 miles north of there. Can't believe how much it has grown and so much to do, planning on spending another weekend up there as soon as I can.
Worth the Stop. great people got some great pictures!
Had a great time! Very nice staff at the visitors center.
It has clean restrooms and great workers helpful and friendly. Also memorable items from the movie Fargo.
As good as a visitor center can get. The highlight of my trip to Fargo. For real.
What a great little visitor center. It has the original wood chipper from the movie Fargo. An interesting place to stop if you're in the area.
Very nice. They took our picture for us at the wood chipper.
YASSSS!!! my grandpa was an extra in the movie Fargo and it was amazing to see a part of the movie and to be in the town. LOVED The wood chipper and walk of fame. great little stop for some small sights and to use the restroom.
Well, if you're coming to Fargo, you have have watched the movie Fargo! Fun free little stop, not necessarily some where you come multiple times but it was fun seeing the orginally chipper from the movie fargo, they had free popcorn and a little display of fossils. They do have a walk way of hand prints of celebrities but sadly weren't properly done or preserved so you couldn't tell who you were looking at.
Was a nice little center to gather information but also got to take a photo with the wood chipper from the movie Fargo!
The staff is polite and happy to help, cool movie memorabilia and not to mention the woodchipper.. It speaks for itself.
Nice facility, lots of brochures, and pamphlets, friendly staff. Easy to get to from the highway.
Where else can you see the woodchipper from the movie Fargo and Myron Floren's handprints?
The guy who worked here was super nice and helped us with pictures on the fantastic WOOD CHIPPER!!! They had great shirts, souvenirs, and information. It was clean and really well kept. Did I mention the WOOD CHIPPER from FARGO is here?!?! It's so cool!
A great place to visit if you want to learn more about the Fargo-Moorhead area. Staffed by super-friendly, knowledgeable people. There are cool things to see here like the Fargo Walk of Fame and the Woodchipper from the movie Fargo as well as a nice place to have a picnic. I thoroughly enjoyed the free popcorn as well.
