What an amazing place! You can go in and play a huge wall of games for free! They have food that you can buy and a huge selection of games for sale. We went there with a group and had no trouble finding a game we all wanted to play, and there were plenty of places to sit. The play wall even has the kid versions of some games. This may be our new family game night location!

2nd time here & this is a place to enjoy family & friends with what I believe to be over a 1,000 games to play & purchase. We are from SD, Ca, moved here a year ago. Didn't play board games there but meet church friends that became family & now my wife & I have fun playing games. Family came in for the holidays, from Seattle, SD, & North Carolina plus our church family & had a blast laughing & notice that there are a lot of people have a good time. So we recommend this place for getting to know each other, meet new people & the food here is fast food but pretty tasty. Plus the staff seemed to like their job which made it nice for us. Restrooms are clean. Plus it keeps people engaged instead of isolated with video gaming, if you understand what I mean. Have a peaceful Christmas & a New new year.

Pros: Huge selections of games to both buy and try. Food and drink to purchase.
Cons: Parking can be a nightmare. Food feels slightly over priced. Service could have been better. They kept charging me for refills even though I spent over $100 on food and games. Went I pointed it out I was basically told "tough s**t" because they had already charged my card.

Fun location. Large play area and great food. Get the pretzels. Don't argue, just do it :-). I only wish they'd sell their own branded stuff for a bit of a discount. You can find it on discount at most of the other retailers around the TC area.

Bright, clean, huge. Wow, I am very jealous I don't have anything like this in my hometown. Good selection of food and drinks at the bar. Lots of tables to play different games at and the customers inside give the place a really nice vibe.

I will be coming back to Minneapolis from Winnipeg and count the FFGC as one of the reasons.

Do you like games? Do you like an environment that's warm and welcoming to play games? Do you like having the opportunity to eat some not-awful food while playing games? Well then the FFG Event Center is for you!

Big space, friendly staff, lots of games for sale (because it shares the parking lot of Asmode), and the food is edible. My only real complaint is that the food, while better than I'd expect, is also really expensive for what it is. But they have Furious on tap, so all is forgiven.

Mandatory visit for anyone interested in board or card games. The store has the whole catalogue of games available, with several tables to play, daily exhibition games, a small restaurant, lots of supplies, etc.

Probably the largest gaming area in the Twin Cities. Not your typical jam as many tables in as you can as lots of other places can be. They also have food and drinks, including beer! Unfortunately the parking lot can be over flowing on weekdays.

The person explaining the games to me was too touchy and worried about my reactions.
Have to put sleeves on cards.
Employee told me they only sell table top games but they were also selling food and books, etc.
I was in the mens room and a female employee burst in there with a clip board looking around and inspecting.

This is a hidden gem in Roseville. Tucked into a relatively plain industrial park building the game center is truly hidden. There is an extensive (free to play) game library with seemingly endless titles. Plenty of open space and accessories for brining your own games. The store has a large selection of games and not just FFG ones either. The onsite cafe serves up pretty good food with lots of variety, tap beer is a big plus. Only downside is that the food portions are small and the prices are high. But given the other services its worth the price.

Some friends of mine have game night every Tuesday. We used to go to Fantasy Flight to play because they have free games, food and drink, and plenty of space. However, we found ourselves bringing our own games, and the prices for their food and drinks is pretty high. It lead us to start playing games at some local breweries instead. If they knocked a buck off their drinks, or their sides weren't a la carte, we probably would still be playing there.

Or, maybe think about a punch card or loyalty program or something for regulars? We do still go to purchase games of course, and also to play Firefly because it takes a lot of room.

Great place to meet friends for something to do. They have a ton of sample games to play and also are welcomeing to bringing your own. This can be a busy place in the weekends, but we always find a place for our group. It's nice that they have some decent food and drink available although you can't bring your own. They keep the place very clean and welcoming to everyone. Not your typical dude card shop with weird smells and no girls. I never feel weird when I go and is a nice atmosphere for families.

It is a nice, big place. They require you to buy their food, but the quality of the food seems better than average. Great customer service. My biggest issue with the place is that it's REALLY loud in there. Maybe they could put up some fabric partitions to cut down on some of the noise?

This place is amazing! Not sure why some of their prices are higher than you can find online, but there's a nice military discount to balance things out. Quite the selection of beer and food as well! Very knowledgeable and helpful staff!

The staff here are amazing, and this really is a self-contained gaming space. Complete with a restaurant in the center, a huge board game library you can borrow from, and a great gaming area. I was here about every day for a week, and loved it.

Didn't even realize that is was there. Drove by one day. Stopped in with my 11 yr old daughter. They have a wall of games that you can sit down and play. They are well labeled for difficulty level and number of players. We sat down and played for a few hours.

We also at dinner there. Food was good. Average fair, but unusual for a gaming place.

Since discovering it, we have been back a few times over the last few weeks.

This place had a great vibe going on. Fun atmosphere, always lots of gamers and families. The game library is both well stocked and /organized/! Fun food choices. Only suggestion would be to cozy up the lighting a bit. The light is pretty harsh and white off of the white walls and ceilings.

Awesome place play games, eat good food, and hang out with friends! The space is clean (especially the bathrooms), and the staff is informed and friendly. Good, solid management. The selection of games to sell as well as to try out in the library is great!

I not only come here the play games and RPGs with friends, I like to come here after seeing a movie at the nearby Rosedale AMC because most night they are open until MIDNIGHT!! :D

The space fills up fast on busy nights, so I recommend coming earlier rather than later, or even better, reserving a table 24 hours in advance.

So all in all, geek heaven! <3 <3

Great gaming space, nice people. Food and beer served. The chicken is great! The grilled cheese is a tragedy. Thick toast with ONE slice of cheese for $6. You should be ashamed of such blatant robbery.

Place was nice. The guy working was great to converse with. Sad to see a store like this be so dead because of covid (being in such a largely populated area). Much bigger play area compared to similar stores where I live in Oregon. Hopefully it's more lively next time we go there.

Fantasy Flight's gaming area is one of the best in the cities. With a massive amount of space and a full service kitchen to prepare snacks and meals (and they even serve beer; a real rarity among gaming establishments), one can hardly ask for more.
