Not from the area but found myself experiencing chest pain while here on vacation. I went to this hospital and it was very evident that the staff was overwhelmed with patients. However, every person treated me respectfully and gave me the time to calm my anxieties. The ER nurses and doctors seemed to have good teamwork and although I had a bed in the hallway, they made sure to give me as much privacy as possible. I myself am a nurse and seeing all the hard work and difficulty that these staff members were dealing with made me truly even more appreciative. They are a great team and in a true emergency they will get you fixed up and sent somewhere for higher level care if needed!

Went in for a knee replacement. I was well cared for in the hospital for three days. The night shift nurse and CNA was my absolute favorite. I believe her name was Karen RN and William CNA Also Sharon RN was an awesome nurse as well. My last nurse Lisa RN was very caring and she needed roller blades. she was SO overworked with low staff on shift. I felt very bad for her!! She never said that to me. But you could tell and I never saw a CNA on her shift. they really need to get her help so she can do her job more efficiently. Sometimes it took over 20 minutes to get help to go to the bathroom because she was assisting 12 other rooms and again no CNA that I saw on her shifted. everybody in the hospital was very friendly. I would go back for surgery there again. My orthopedic surgeon was phenomenal! I understand the pandemic has made things harder. But when it comes to hospitals. They need to do whatever they can to make sure the nurses have the assistance they need.

Fannin Hospital saved her life! In early October, 2021 my wife was admitted to Fannin with respiratory complications from Covid pneumonia. She received prompt, first class ER care (including monoclonal infusions) and then was transferred to the Covid unit for three days of treatment and monitoring. Skilled, caring doctors and nurses worked very hard to drastically improve my wife's condition. The staff at Fannin kept her from becoming very sick.

Most of us think that "bigger is better" and avoid small local hospitals. That is not the case with Fannin hospital. We will be forever grateful for the care we received!

Tied up in a battle about billing. My insurance company has repeatedly requested medical records and FRH has not sent them. Quick to bill, even though FRH committed the coding error. Can't speak with someone in billing because your call gets transferred to a billing agency. Would be happy to pay, and FRH would probably get more money from the insurance if this was billed correctly. It's a shame administration is not customer friendly. The ER doc that took care of us was great.

I feel it s necessary to leave this review based on the kindness I have been shown at this hospital time and time again. I have been to Fannin Regional Hospital for anything from a migraine to a scratched cornea to a panic attack. Last week I walked in during an extremely busy time for an awful panic attack that lasted for 3 days. I had not slept in almost 60 hours and was completed exhausted and frantic. It s embarrassing to admit this but like I said I think it s necessary because these kind people deserve credit. I was treated with nothing but kindness and understanding the entire time. There were real emergencies happening while I was there looking for some kind of relief from my declining mental health. A nurse there came out to the waiting room multiple times to assure me they have not forgotten about me and they were sorry for the wait. This same nurse was also seeing to patients out in the parking lot because they had no more beds from how busy it was. She was going above and beyond to make sure everyone knew that they were cared for and not forgotten. Dr Kulish saw me and also reassured me I had nothing to be embarrassed about and that he was going to try to help me. I can not explain what their kindness meant to me in that moment. These people work long hours and see and deal with things that most of us don t have the heart for. So thank you to the staff at Fannin Regional Emergency room. I appreciate you and am grateful there are people like you working in the medical field.

My wife had hand surgery at this facility.

My wife had hand surgery at this facility.
She cannot speak more highly of the surgeon performing the surgery, the nurses and staff.
Very professional and caring. The doctor called me after the surgery and went over all that happened as well as the pre op care. He provided his cell number so I could call with any concerns. The staff were wonderful and caring.
Excellent for a rual hospital.
Thanks to all.
