Great Bar, Great music, Great service, Great atmosphere....a must see!!!

Over priced drinks for that area. Nothing special about this place

The waitress scammed my friends and I and we had to file a police report because the woman scratched me so badly I bled and my skin welted.

The shot girl took my ID and credit card after I agreed to take one shot. She then proceeded to charge us for 11 shots. Based on previous reviews after this incident, this sketchy bar is known for this scam. Do not go here or at least do not buy any drinks.

One of my favorites. Usually good music. Standing room only and warm beer.

This was one of the better places for music on Bourbon. Most of the music on Bourbon is not as good as the music on Frenchmen

Stumbling around Bourbon Street can be fun. This place makes it better. Well the Dysfunction Band made it the best experience in New Orleans. This band takes requests and plays with passion. A must see in the area. Also the bartenders are top notch! 5 Glistening Platinum Stars

This ain't your average bar band. Never, never heard a mediocre band. Awesome!

Mostly tourists. It's fun for a quick bar hop. Bands pass tip bucket, drinks pricey.

Band was good. Staff waited on us quickly. They could have used a few more chairs. I had to make this five stars. Trough urinal in the men's room!!!

Quality live music is the real draw for this place. Early in the night you can find a little open space for dancing, but later on it will be packed. Claim a table by the bar early!

The bartender Zayba is great. I told her I was a lightweight and that I didn't like the taste of alcohol. She made me a drink that was wonderful. She's a real sweetheart too. Very friendly. We even came back after dinner so I could have a couple more of those fabulous 'kinda pinacolada' drinks and watch the Broncos game. The band is pretty good too.

Great fun. The band was fun. Amazing amount of raw talent for people who can wear many hats.

Went yesterday and got there about 5pm and it was 2 for one beer which was great! The band that was playing was FANTASTIC!! I have to say the bartenders weren't rude but they also weren't the friendliest. definitely recommend.

Good live music, but fellow tourists be wary of the women they hire to comes by with test tubes to shove down your throat, literally. And then charge you 6 bucks for the food coloring in them

We love this place and their house band, Dysfunction. A MUST when we are in New Orleans!!!

We had a great time at the Famous Door. The music was rockin'. My only complaint is that the shot girls were a bit aggressive. They shove the shots in your mouth even after you say no.

Very, very fun place. Half Past Whiskey plays afternoons through the week and are crazy talented. One of my favorite places in the Quarter for sure.

Good hangout in comparison with the rest that is available to choose from in Bourbon Street.

Drink prices were on par with the area - live music wasn't much to brag about. The lead singer read many of the words for the songs from an an electronic device.

We went in for "a drink" in the afternoon, & left MUCH later in the night!! Lol. Had a Fun Time dancing n drinking! Happy hour drinks were 2 for 1 n Strong!! The band started shortly after n played Good Classic Rock, as did the 2nd band!! Good music for dancing!!

I always have an amazing time at this place. The drinks are super pricey, but it's still a fun place to visit if you're not into the craziness of Bourbon Street

Our favorite place in the French Quarter. We've been to New Orleans half a dozen times and this is the place we go back to. The rock n roll cover bands, even the ones playing mid afternoon, on weekdays, are top notch. There is often a 2 for 1 beer special going. Note that the music is very loud. Ear plugs are not a bad idea for the faint of heart. Whenever I go and want to upgrade my home audio system.
