Disappointed by this practice. Went for a routine physical in January as a new patient and ended up needing testing for something that came up. I was given an X-ray at the practice where they thought my kidney was in a weird location. I was sent for an ultrasound to check on it, but I didn t hear back about my results for weeks.
Finally after following up for a second time about 2 weeks after, I was told it was inconclusive and I should get a CT scan. Seemed a little aggressive for the situation, but once I saved up enough for the procedure I scheduled and went to the appointment. Results came back two days later along with the entire report. My Provider wrote a short statement saying it s not what we originally thought and nothing else. I read through the report on my own and there were several things I wanted to discuss about the report, especially since my issue still wasn t/isn t resolved.
I tried messaging my PA multiple times through the patient portal. She responded once more with a message to state we re pretty much done here, although my issue was still unresolved. I have tried to reply twice through the portal and have received no response.
Today, I decided to call for a follow up and was greeted by a nurse who told me that the only way I can talk to my provider if I make another appointment. She also stated she is the one handling patient portal messages so I d just be talking to her anyways.
This whole situation has been a massive waste of money with no resolution and has me still dealing with the original issue. I still question what they saw in the original X-ray. It really does seem like they are just wanting money at this point, and do not care about my care. I will be looking for a new PCP.
