Well I take guitar lessons from Jeff. It's been a pleasant experience. He is very patient and when I get flustered he knows how to show me a better way. I'm not the easiest person to teach but yea hes been very patient

I've been a a long standing customer with Family Music Center. After a billing oversight I discovered, I contacted the business to have it corrected. I spoke with the manager Patrick who treated me with disrespect and multiple times had condescending responses to my concerns. I would give this business zero stars if this review allowed. I personally would not recommend patronizing this business.

I went here to rent a new instrument for my daughter. There was an older lady that was very rude towards my husband and daughter.
She was complaing and said "I work 20 hours a day with a mask." As if she was the only one who had to wear a mask.
At the end my daughter ended up crying.
They also asked us to put a down payment of $750 if we wanted to rent some more instruments. It felt as if I was going to rent an apartment, not an instrument.

Love Family Music! As a music educator I love how knowledgeable they are. They have the best instrument repair dept! Kind, fast, well done and VERY fair prices! I bring all my school instruments here for repair!

My son is taking piano lessons here with Bob Kriefall, and is learning a lot - highly recommend!

My kids started guitar lessons this Fall, my husband decided that it should be a great idea to get them a guitar so they could practice what they learned at home. He found Family Music Center and decided to browse the store and see what they offered, the man who helped my husband was really nice and he knew what could work for our kids.
My husband came home with a beautiful acustic guitar, a tuner, sleeve and the man even put in there some extra picks, overall my husband was able to get a great deal and very good costumer service!

Very helpful. Clean and prices are reasonable. My son takes trumpet and clarinet lessons. The price for lessons are must lower than others and the teacher is very attentive and knowledge. My son has autism and he is great with him. (Bruce Messner)

My kids are in band and orchestra. We have always gone to family music center. The staff are very helpful! I would call ahead to check on items we needed and it was placed behind the counter for us to pick up. This past June I had to get my sons French horn cleaned and returned to school before the summer. The staff said it would be about a week as they have lots of instruments to work on. I explained that I needed it within a few days and what do you know, they had it done and ready for me to pick up with no extra charge. I was so impressed and happy with the service we received! It's the little things they do that makes us return as customer.

P.S. I almost stopped by a different music store closer to us just because it would be more convenient, but I read they had horrible horrible service. That solves everything, I will make the extra few miles trip to family music center where the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the service is always amazing!!

Great selection of musical instruments and accessories. The staff here is really nice as well.

I went here 2 days consecutively and while i thought the first day the young men that worked inside were nice i found the older woman who worked there to be rather rude and unprofessional.

I have been "renting to own" a cello from this store since the fifth grade, and they have always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable, beginning with offering me one of the most sturdy while unusually high quality cellos for the price, realizing I was a student and would have to tote the thing in a minivan. Each time I have returned they have replaced all of my strings and continually offered to check the instrument over, offering advice I didn't even know I should ask for. While I can't speak on the quality of the lessons, or, I guess, of other instruments, I would recommend everyone I know go here for stringed instruments, especially if they hope to pay them off over time.

Great place for one on one lessons. The front end people are sometimes rude but nothing too bad.

Make sure you ask about all options for instrument rentals. There is a full year plan that saves 25%.

I've been shopping here for over a decade. Always treated well and with respect. Highly recommended. I play music for a living and Family Music is right there with all the supplies I need to keep myself going.

Excellent, friendly service. Knowledgeable about a wide variety of instruments plus they sell or rent just about any instrument you want. Also do repairs. I highly recommend this store. Even the prices are more reasonable than others.

It has been the best place I've done business with since my son was in first grade and now he's a junior in college. Mark and Jackie have both been a part of my life for Alec and his music the whole time and I can't say enough good about how I've been treated there

My clarinet lost a spring a week before I was to play for a wedding and I stopped in to Family Music Center to let them know I was in a bit of a pinch for time. I also didn't want any unnecessary work done prior to playing out in the heat. They repaired what I needed fixed and gave my clarinet a good look-over to make sure everything was in good working order. Thank you to Family Music Center for repairing my clarinet in a speedy fashion and at a very affordable price!

This is my favorite music store. They give you excellent service and have the best music teachers.

I am a piano and voice teacher there. I love the staff. They are always helpful.

I rented a violin here for my daughter. They made sure she had the correct size and were very knowledgable about the instruments. Our monthly rental fee, applied toward the purchase of the violin, because my daughter decided the violin wasnt for her after a year, we were able to return the violin and stop paying. We were very happy with the service we recieved and will use them in the future if we need instruments or other music equipment.

I had to rent a instrument for my nephew, first store I went to told me I couldn't because I wasn't his legal guardian. So family music center was my second choice. it really should have been my first choice. They helped me right away and fast. the young man that help me answered all my questions. it was simply, fast and excellent customer service. Now that he will be playing an instrument this will be my store.

Equipment. Instruction. Great location. Liban is a beast on the drums!

I get all my Viola stuff here they are a tad pricey though.

Such a caring and knowledgeable staff. Very thankful for the compassion they have for music and their customers. I doubt you will be able to find more devoted people than the family music crew. I wont go anywhere else! When you want the best, look no further, they have it, and then some.....

Family Music Center is fantastic! We have rented multiple instruments from here (electronic keyboard, violin, clarinet). We used the rent-to-own program for the piano. Excellent equipment and service!

Family Music Center is one of the few full service music stores in the area. You ca rent/buy instruments, sheet music etc. They have several rooms for lessons. Parking is easy and everything is handicap accessible.

Amazing service and great prices. I've been renting my children's instruments from them for years, and I would highly recommend them!

Will never do business there again! Went there to buy strings for my granddaughter's viola because one of the strings was broken.I called them before I got there and asked them if they could replace all four string and tune it and they said no problem. But when I got there the person who attended me sounded like it was too much trouble to replace all four strings. I said fine just replace the one that was missing. He didn't even offer to tune the viola.
