Such a grate community place . They offer help to parents who have troubled children. They have grate informative classes, as well as family nights . They offer child watch for most of the classes . Alway provide dinner for the evening events and classes . All staff members children or has worked with someone in there family that has issues with daily life. Everyone can relate and work together to help one another.

My experience at Family Involvement Center has been very positive and successful. My growth as a parent, and as a member of the community has been extraordinary in many aspects of my life. These includes parent/child relationship, suicide awareness, mental illness awareness, sleep disorders awareness,behavior system, IEP, The 12 principles, strengthening my communication skills with my children, my family and my community members, developed healthy relationships, advocacy, and referrals.

Good place for learning and to grow as a person/parent.

So far I'm not impressed. On 3/29 I reached out inquiring about services. When explaining why I wanted services the "scheduler?" made the comment " I sounded happy" (red flag 1). She stated someone would be contacting me to schedule an intake, in a few days, which never happened. I called again and was able to schedule an intake for 04/13, two weeks after the original call for services. I assumed the intake would go over all of my concerns and symptoms but it was basically an immediate crisis intake and paperwork. I need to mention when I told the worker I did not have any goals, that statement was questioned (red flag 2). During the intake I was told a "screener" would be calling me, again in a few days, to discuss my concerns, symptoms etc and to assign me an actual therapist. It has now been 6 days and I have not heard from anyone nor have I have been assigned a therapist. So 22 days have gone by without any help. This agency says they are trauma and EMDR trained which I why I chose them. I am currently in crisis and a highly stressful situation. I'm not sure if they are understaffed, overwhelmed or other but they have HORRIBLE communication skills and for a counseling and trauma center they should know how these situations affect those in crisis..

Great place for resources in working with children with special needs

I love working with Diane she has helped in so many ways. We were at rock bottom just being told what was going on with my son she helped pull us up and show how to be more of an advocate for my child. We have came a long way still have a long way to go but she is beyond an amazing rock star.

Great support services! Committed, excellent staff to work with. They really care and they know their stuff.
