Fallon's Bar and Brasserie Review

Food and service are both great. We order for delivery at work and also stop on the way home for a beer. I have never had anything to complain about.

As soon as we walked in we felt nothing but love! Felt like you were walking into your families restaurant and they were happy to see you. The French dip and sweet potato fries felt like magic in my mouth. Beer cheese for the nachos wasn t good, but that s the only bad thing there. They have also mastered an STL classic...the gooey butter cake! Freshly made, comes out warm, and with ice cream...yes we ordered three lol don t judge us...ITS REALLY THAT GOOD!!!!

Great food and great service. They have a very good whiskey selection. Well worth stopping in.

Four star for a restaurant of its type. I was part of a party of 8. We were seated promptly, and our orders taken fairly quickly once everyone was there. But the food was a while in getting to the table, though no one ordered anything exotic. The food was well prepared and tasted good. There is plenty of parking and easy wheelchair access.

Food was ok. Got the vegetables wrap and onion rings. Onion rings were not to my liking.

My colleagues and I head to Fallon's regularly for lunch. The reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries is my go-to pick.

This is a wonderful place to have lunch with friends and family. It has a cozy feeling. The food is great. I loved the soups and stews and sandwiches. Very tasty. Our servers were friendly and made good suggestions. Kathy is our favorite server.

I love it here, great place for lunch and a few cocktails!!! Servers are super nice. Be careful though, easy to run up a TAB!

They do a great job on the "Bar" half of the equation, great bartenders, whisky club, fun clientele, etc. But the "Grill" side really sets them apart... consistently great food.

Go get a meal and stay for a beer!

It's hard to find good food to eat when you are on a restricted diet but was able to have a great lunch there

Decent drinks, food tasted like warmed up frozen meals.

We thought it was funny that we received 5 potato skins with our order as they come in halves. Where was the last half? Our waitress told us that they are not freshly made but frozen. Otherwise the grill section seemed overwhelmed as service was poor. Better luck when I have returned and sat at the bar. Food was the same though :-( .

The Irish menu is nice when considering that Irish fare is not as typical. The corned beef and cabbage is good but not great. However, the shepard's pie was quite enjoyable.

The sandwich was 11 something plus tax and it was supposed to be a Philly it was awful if a Philly was what you expected
It was what seems like boiled beef forms on a roll not like any Philly I ever had

Awesome. I had the Ruben, and it was amazing. The food was good, the service was nice, and the place itself was a nice place to have dinner.

Cozy, friendly, lively & welcoming restaurant/bar with an awesome staff, diverse variety of beers, fantastic menu (get the Angus burger!), clean bathrooms, great ambience, plenty of screens and specials. Fallon's gives us a place to break from our crAZY world and just relax, eat, drink, talk, listen and laugh. Lucky for us, Fallon's knows how to makes us feel cared for. Each server does an excellent job with efficiency and accuracy. Tip well, visit regularly, bring a friend, have a beer and strike up a conversation. Life is short. Make it fun. Go to Fallon's.

It might be in a small strip mall, but this restaurant/bar has great Irish food and many of your favorite beer selections on draft. Shaded seating outside during the warmer months and the restaurant is divided into a bar and family seating. They have some good music on select Friday and Saturday nights.

Beer selection is very good. The food is very good, but we got one dinner that had very tough pot roast. The manager quickly remedied the problem, and was very courteous. A good place to try some old Irish pub favorites!

I came for the Prickley Pear margarita & apptz it cost me $25...expensive

Had the special of the night a Gyro Wrap. Food was good. There was chicken in with the gyro meat, fries were good put there was under 15 strands of fries. The service was fantastic! Michelle was great.

The story goes...originally going to SugarFire on East Olive - thankfully they were out of beef brisket. Side stepped next door to FALLON'S, never heard of the place BAM! OMG! Cesare salad was better than any 5-Star restaurant in STL plus my mother's, seriously, I don't even like croutons and I ate ALL of them. Then delivered the most delicious Pulled Pork sandwich, melted in my mouth. I'm not a fan of bbq sauce but this excellent recipe I took home. Hands down Best AAA+ for anything you are in the mood ~ luscious and happy. Love you Sarah, Page and Dan ~ thank you kindly for making me feel at home.

Yummy, Yummy. Cheeky little place to go chill in. I don't remember what I had. (Going to blame it on the Martinis). But I remember picking at my friends food and having gastro pub envy and and and eating my leftovers for breakfast because I couldn't wait. (Leftovers usually die from loneliness in my fridge until they die and get buried in the trash) "here lies Chicken Picaso - She was served, doggie bagged and dreamed of being microwaved" pour out a lil katsup for the leftovers that went before her . Sorry back to review - staff was friendly. Atmosphere Pubby. No suprises. Dont sit, if you can, close to the can. Lots of beer served here.

Great food, close to home. It is a bit pricey, but the service is usually very good. Try the Gnocchi Diablo, seriously.

Staff is awesome, my husband and my best friend enjoyed their drinks. My food was awesome except for the cabbage, no flavor at all. But I will come again.

Great Angus burgers....and chefs who know what medium rare is...which is surprisingly rare in itself! Great manager Josh handled customers very well and waitress Kathy is a true delight. So glad I decided to stop!!

Very good late lunch. We had the Turkey Burger special. An excellent choice. Thanks to Kathy for the excellent service, clearly a product of her experience as a server. Kathy was also excellent in tending to her customer's needs. We'll definitely return.

I've been coming here since I moved to Olivette in 13'. What a fantastic place. Great environment! Great Food! Dan and the crew make sure they take care of every customer as if they were the only one being served, even when they are crazy busy! Killer Place, Killer Food.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Always a great time and a great meal. Stay as long or as short as you like, you're always treated respectfully and well as a diner. I've recommended this place a lot and also been recommended to go to a lot.

My Shepard's Pie was delicious. I loved the ambiance too. Great experience and I'll definitely come back again.

My wife, Chris, joined me at an Airbnb in University City near St. Louis for a week in June 2019. We visited Fallon's on our second night. We were supposed to visit a Chinese or seafood restaurant in the area the next night, but ended up at Fallon's. We made it back a third time b4 the week's end. We ate n drank at the bar every time. The hit list included their appetizers because Chris loves finger food and the breaded mushrooms were moist, hot n flavorful. Also, 72 Irish whiskeys, trivia nights, great service n food, n friendly patrons. A great place to unwind.

Excellent Philly cheese steak. Not as good as Pat's or Geno's but not too far off

Service at the bar is excellent. The bartenders are friendly and know their booze. Their fish tacos are delicious. Mediocre service when I sat in the dining area, however. Couldn't get a second drink until I walked to the bar and ordered it. I'll still be back though :-)

First time there with a friend who's been many times, the food was delicious!!!! Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, my fiance was excited about the Irish whiskey club, apparently if you drink your way thru 30 of them you get your name on the wall, and if you drink all 60 you get an aging barrel! (doesn't have to be all in one day haha).
Between all of us we had the spinach artichoke app, Reuben, and Philly. Def will be back!!!!!

I must have pocket unlocked my phone and somehow reviewed this at 3 stars because this place is AMAZING. My husband and I have visited twice with our two young children, and both times our experience was perfect! The food is to die for, the service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. My only complaint is I can't eat here every night! I'm so sorry for my earlier review. Believe me, it was completely unintentional. This establishment is a 10/5 stars, easily. Never change!

I don't get out to Olivette often but Fallon's is where I always go. Great food, service, and a friendly atmosphere.

Not really impressed. Have dined there several times now. Just not impressed. Seems like they are just coasting.

There food is literally the bomb. Omg! Affordable tasty food! Everytime I order or eat in its the same hot and tasty

I enjoy coming to Fallon's Bar and Grill with friends and family. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The servers are friendly, knowledgeable and always welcome any questions or special requests. The chefs are amazing. My favorite night includes sharing an appetizer of Irish Chips and enjoying an unbelievable Fish 'n Chips entree with coleslaw or ordering the amazingly delicious turkey wrap with french fries. Fallons has quite possibly the best burger and fries in St. Louis.

Fun Irish pub with great whiskey and beer selection

I am enjoyed this place so far. I have been here 15 minutes and my waitress has been very attentive and quick to respond to our needs. I love it. I will be back and I haven't even gotten my food yet.

We always eat here, pretty much since they've opened. Honestly, the food atmosphere and staff have all gotten better through the years, and they started out great!

Went there for lunch on a Friday.
Atmosphere was nice.
Waiter was average.
Food was not good - Bangers and Mash had unseasoned potatoes(though they were real) bland dark gravy, and sadly the bangers were very bland and over fried to the point that they were hard to cut with a bread knife. Potion size was decent.

- Grouper sandwich was bland with too much breading and too much bun. Not fresh tartar sauce. Sweet Potato fries weren't that great either (not seasoned with anything... salt sugar cinnamon...).

Might go back for drinks when possible to see how the Crispin cider on tap is... probably will stay away from the food.
