There for lunch, really lovely food. Staff excellent, friendly and helpful. And a great view of the falls, in full flood.

Great hotel, bedrooms a little tried but all in all I'd go back, great restaurant and bar food. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

I stayed at the Falls Hotel and Spa for 5 nights in September 2020. First impressions were good, with beautiful grounds and a friendly welcome on arrival. The room was also lovely and my request for a room with a view had been delivered. The reception staff were very polite, helpful and friendly at all times.
However, my experience in the dining room was different. As a solo, mature female traveller I was made to feel very unwelcome. The main area of the Cascades restaurant, which is downstairs, is on a strict first come first served basis - or so I was informed. I had dinner in the restaurant each evening of my visit. On 4 out of the 5 evenings I was relegated to the back of the balcony which overlooks the main dining area. Even on evenings when there were free tables downstairs in the main area, I was informed I could not sit there as they were being reserved for other diners...despite their strict first come first served policy. On one evening, I was the only person to be sat on the balcony.
Despite raising my dissatisfaction with being relegated to the balcony, out of sight of the restaurant's preferred clientele (both at the time and in subsequent emails to the management), my concerns fell on deaf ears. The reality is this establishment simply does not care about mature, solo female travellers. It appears that they would simply prefer us not to be there.

I wouldn t say the service is 4* in the main restaurant for breakfast.

Roisin is amazing behind the hot breakfast bar, warm, welcoming and takes a busy day in her stride, but needs support when busy.

The floor needs managing and organisation.

4* bar lovely.
4* Room lovely, bit dated, but in keeping with its surroundings.

We had our wedding at the Falls Hotel in Oct 2020. I would highly recommend a wedding at the Falls hotel. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and the hotel has been recently refurbished inside and is looking fantastic. The staff really went above and beyond for us. Michael looked after us on the day and he was brilliant in every way and had us right at ease from start to finish. All the staff around the hotel were friendly and made us feel relaxed on the days leading up to the wedding and helped us setting up decor in the room - nothing was too much trouble for them. The wedding meal was delicious and lived up to out expectations and more. We were delighted with the service and the staff were very attentive. We have a special fondness for the Falls hotel and can't wait to visit again soon for a stay and reminisce about our wedding day. Thanks Michael and Team - hopefully see ye this Summer

Fantastic stay at beautiful hotel in Ennistimon, Co Clare. Wonderful food,swimming pool and a brilliant place to locate to travel around Clare. Enjoy the local pubs, especially Eugene s in the town. Love the walks.

Well located in tranquil area overlooking the waterfalls. Ample rooms but a bit dated and run down. Dinner a d breakfast below average for what was expected. It felt a bit crowded but room was super quiet! Very friendly staff.

We had a fabulous time staff very friendly and helpful. The facilities are of a very high quality. Highly recommended this hotel especially their spa treatment.
