I feel this Church is the best church in Orlando !...

I feel this Church is the best church in Orlando ! This is a big church but has a small church feel. You can always feel the presence of God here . When our family was going through a rough time financially, and emotionally this church was there for us in so many ways. If they ask you to tithe, that is what the word says, and They really use it to help so many people in the community . I have experienced the help first hand and I'm so grateful for it !! Pastor Carl is a awesome, humble man of God and always preaches the truth. After he prayed for my son , the next day called to check to see if there was anything he needed, you don't normally see that from a big church. But he genuinely cares. Thankful for everything this place has done for our family.May God continue to be glorified in this place!

I've been going to this church since it was held in the Goldenrod campus, and I love that it has been blessed with the ability to grow and touch even more people. Pastor Carl loves the Lord with all his heart and is extremely devoted to the church and its functions. The youth pastors connect to the teenagers well (I should know because I go to both Rapids and Mainstream). The children's ministry is exceptional, and so is the preschool ministry. Ministries such as Fine Arts gives teens the ability to develop their skills and use them to further the will of God. Royal Rangers gives young men the ability to learn how to serve others and be a leader, and Undersheperds helps teens bring themselves closer to God than they ever thought was possible. I love that I am able to grow in God with the support of Faith.

I love this church so much! I have attended Faith Assembly of God for 11 years, and they have always encouraged me to have a genuine and proactive relationship WITH God rather than merely a reverence for God.

Having attended this church all through middle school, high school, college, and now into my first adult year, Faith AG has always been there for me. Prior to losing my dad to cancer in 2015, the Pastoral staff often visited us in the hospital to offer prayer and support.

My youth leaders and pastors always believed in me, and pushed me to be everything that I am today. No church is perfect -- for our humanity taints God's plans -- but Faith Assembly is always striving to become better and reach the lost in new ways. Their staff earnestly seeks the Lord and receives every critique as a means to grow.

Their church worship services are full of the Holy Spirit, and so much prayer, thought, and planning goes into EACH and every element of every service. The Word of God is never watered down. For people who have attended Faith AG and felt unwelcomed or uneasy, please know -- that is NEVER the heart of the church. We have so many systems and ministries in place hoping that that doesn't happen, but as humans I'm sure we sometimes fall short. There's even a parking lot team who volunteers before service just to make sure people feel welcomed even in the parking lot -- and when it rains, we even walk people to and from their cars with umbrellas.

They offer so many amenities and programs for the handicap and elderly. They have multiple WEEKLY outreaches where they go out into the Orlando community to help people. They provide bus transportation to teens who need rides (that's how I got to church back in the day.) They really promote the BODY of Christ by offering probably around 60-80 weekly small-group opportunities for people to experience a Christian atmosphere in a smaller setting (because they know that bigger services can sometimes be overwhelming). They have a comprehensive prayer chain dedicated to lifting up the prayers of the congregation ... and so much more!

Yes -- their facility is state-of-the-art and beautiful -- but it took years of fundraising and prayer, and their heart is to use it as a vehicle to reach the lost. It's so much better to have our youth meeting here for recreation (under supervision) on weekdays than being out on the streets.

No one wears a mask, it s very unsafe even the people that run the church make excuses for everyone not wearing them. Someone from there said I would hate for a family to not be allowed in because they don t have a mask ...... that s not an excuse buy masks to hand out to people at the door....

There are multiple things you could evaluate when giving a review. Nevertheless my experience has been a beautiful one as His sweet and glorious presence manifests during worship every Sunday and throughout. I see how missionaries have been able to spread the Gospel because of the donations and commitment of the body of Christ through Faith Assembly. It is evident how Faith has made a positive impact on the community by its outreach events, giving to the needy and supporting important causes. Only when we give our offerings, and prayers the Good News can be spread out.
I love that our Youth is so involved and present during worship services. Kids receive so much spiritually as well. I sense pure serving hearts when I come in, from all the staff who greet me , etc.
No person nor place is perfect. The only Perfect One is our Lord Jesus and in HIM, through HIM and for HIM we can forgive, pray for improvements and have joy as we gather.
Bigger churches are logistically different from small churches and this is a personal choice, and one not taken lightly.
Our family is blessed to have Faith Assembly, and be our gathering place.

Faith Assembly of God is my second home. I'm always there & I never get tired of it. The church has a lot people but you can easily get to know all of them once you get involved. Big church but small church feel. They call you & contact you right after meeting you! There is alway help for single moms & dads! There is homeless outreaches EVERY WEEK! They care & they help you to care too! It's never been so easy to help others out! The amount of ministries available for every type of person is amazing! All you have to do is be willing, be willing to serve & connect & everything else falls into place. God is good. Here is where I learned how to pray & read my word & spend time with God without it being a "task" I love it! If only people knew how much hardwork/prayer/fasting/passion is put into the ministry, there would be a lot more appreciation. These pastors+leaders devote so much so everyone could enjoy & grow in their relationships with God. If you need a home church I recommend this one! If you like family oriented/ friendly atmospheres this is perfect for you.

I was very disappointed in the Christmas Eve service as it focused on buying last minute gifts at their gift shop! The minister talked about his wonderful family but did not focus on the people at the church. The message was disorganized and hard to follow.

Today, I had one of the worst experiences I've eve...

Today, I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had when attending Church service. I'm going to start by giving a little background on myself.

I've spent majority of my adult life (17-32y/o) serving my country; 11years US Army Special Forces ODA 744&7214, 1 year on the Ambassador's Protection Detail in undesclosed locations in the middle east, and 3 years recently working on OGA contracts abroud stopping terrorist from killing/persecuting christians, among other things.

Today I went to the Curry Ford location, as I usually do, and ended up showing up just as they were asking for Tidings (I was late). I always take a seat at the end of any row and always in the back, because as a protector and trained professional, I feel that if anything were to happen, I have the responsibility to protect others and the ability to handle the situation. I suffer from certain things in life (PTSD) crowded spaces being one of them. In order to get over this, what better place to go to than Church in order to ask for forgiveness and reiintigrate oneself. Since I showed up late, and it's just myself, I decided since many of the seats by the end rows were taken and the only available seat were in the center of the rows, that I would stand in the main center isle by the sound booth, against the wall, and not impede anyone's ability to maneuver. I have seen other people stand there during service when the church is packed. Here is where the story begins.

As I was standing on the isle, against the wall, in nobodies way, one of the ushers in a brown suit came to me and asked if I was looking for a seat. I looked at him, as I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids in order to make out what he was saying by mouth, and gathered that he asked if I would like to sit as he would escort me. I immediately responded with "no thank you, sir" and continued to pay attention to the service. I didn't think anything of this as nothing out of the ordinary happened. I get approached by someone with an earpiece, which I immediately gathered is security there and was asked if I would like a seat in which I responded again with "no thank you, sir." I was then told by the security personnel that one of the ushers is nervous about me standing there and I said "there is no need to be nervous. I'm former military." The security guard then responded with "Sir, we cannot have anyone blocking the walkway so I'm going to have to ask you to take a seat."

Having done this security guards job, in the highest echelons of government work protecting the US embassador in overseas location in non-permissive environments, I can understand the level of concern that might have arose. Especially, in a peaceful church setting. Thankfully, there is something called a threat assessment and a threat matrix. A well groomed man, that is wearing a fully custom and fitted three piece suit, and responds to every to ever question by saying "yes, sir" or "no, sir", regardless of age, is not a threat. In fact looking around and seeing that there are very few seats and then being told that I am former military is a clear indication that I am no threat to anyone, and in fact, I would add value to his protection detail by having another trained personnel being vigilant. I didn't expect it to become an issue. So I left in order to avoid further complications as I was clearly being watched and went to the cafeteria area in which I sat peacefully by myself and listened to the wonderful service. I want to come there to worship God and Jesus and just be left alone.

Faith assembly is a five star church, but I gave it one star because of what had transpired. I am going through so much in my life right now and I am looking for God to send me a message or answer my prayers. The last thing I wanted to deal with was being told to sit down because I was a threat and then given an excuse on why I wasn't allowed to stand where I was standing. If that is the case, what happens when 100% of the seats are taken?

Training your staff on threat assessment might help mitigate some of this nervousness.

10 years ago I got a divorce and I didn't think I could ever get my relationship right with God because I had gotten a divorce. And I walked into the church and Pastor Carl was preaching about this subject and it was from that moment forward that I was renewed and restored and I knew that God had a greater plan for me and I love Pastor Carl for his message and the church for all the support that they provide. #greatchurch #godovereverything
