Not the best room. Bed was comfy and they had a delicious chocolate mousse waiting for us with a nice note in French about our anniversary. It was very quiet which we appreciated. The bathtub paint was peeling, the alarm clock had no battery (Yes we like to know the time in the middle of the night and turn off our cells). The coffee maker didn't work but my husband did get us complimentary coffee from the buffet. It was great that we could walk underground to the casino from the hotel so we didn't get wet from the rain. That was the view from our little window on the 4th floor.

Great stay! Staff is very friendly. The hotel is pet-friendly :) . They accommodated us very well with our baby. Brought us a mini fridge and a microwave directly in our room for our baby food. Our dog Nala went sometimes with the dog walker(which chargers 11$/hours, for a minimum of 3 hours) that gave us time for breakfast/lunch and during Souper time. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

I stayed for a day at the mansion from August 9th to 10th, I had a package of over $ 1000 (birthday package 120) I was disappointed with the room, tv with black bar, bathroom door that does not close not! I informed the host, I was told we send someone, he never has anyone who came and I was not even offered to change rooms! When I arrived, I was never informed of all the benefits of my package, nothing was explained, I had to find the info myself! even for the Charlevoix train, it was I who had to call the concierge to get the tickets people were calling me! Really disappointed with my stay

Stayed for 3 days / 2 night
Drove down from Montreal with my husband and we had a good time at the hotel ! Justine was great and was very helpful.
They had many activities to offer and we definitely enjoyed taking advantage of them. Beautiful scenery near the hotel, great for long walks at night. Had an awesome amaretto sour at the bar near the Grand Hall, keep in mind prices are more expensive than other hotels, be prepared to spend more than average on food and drinks. There are restaurants off the property that you can drive to ( 10 minutes away)

Absolutely stunning. You must book well in advance to stay at the mansion. Outdoor activities, outdoor heated pool, luscious restaurants, corner 5 to 7 or rest with foy, chansonnies, souvenir shop, most of the staff is pleasant and smiling. However, the girl at the small convenience store addresses one of those silly and unpleasant tunes, she is not even able to greet you or thank you !!! Because of her, during my next visits, I will make sure not to miss anything to not have to endorse such behavior!

Ideal for a family weekend. The buffets are excellent. The landscape is wonderful. The comfort and the welcome is worthy of the reputation of the Manor. The pool with its hot water is the most popular activity for the family.

For our 1st wedding anniversary my spouse made me the surprise to bring me to the Richelieu mansion for a weekend of lovers, disappointment when entering the room we were allocated, the cleanliness of the place seemed to me to leave Desiring dust was apparent in the bathroom and the tub did not seem to have been washed. Having to wash the bath before being able to wash at the price of the room I remained disappointed. Fortunately for the service we received at our dinner we could not ask for more, the service of Annick and the kindness and professionalism of the young man in charge (Jonathan) were superior to our expectations he took Be careful to make sure that the kitchen takes into account the problems of my spouse who is celiac, the suggestion of the deal puts and wine proposed by Jonathan was more than perfect. These are the two employees who have served as royalty that I would gladly return to another stay in this establishment which is beautiful in a corner of the country just as beautiful disappointment the room that did not have the view ask and which seemed to me to have been partly cleaned. for dinner and room service I suggest this place to everyone but in terms of room cons I'm still disappointed with the situation, when we pay over $ 1000 for a weekend of lovers the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms should be higher than we were entitled.

Excellent hotel. I don't understand the reviews that say this hotel needs major renovations. Rooms have AC, pools look well kept. This place is really good with kids - from the highchairs in all of the restaurants to the heated outdoor pool More

Beautiful stay as usual: 5 stars

Beautiful stay as usual: 5 stars

Opinions change.

During this last stay of the end of February 2019, it seems that there have been some changes with the new owners Accorhotel.

Even sighting at Faimont Tremblant or the price of food increased and quality of food decreased.

The Manor remains the mansion, the rooms interesting except the prices increase, food decreases, make regret the old Faimont.

I give 4 stars this time.

Personnel were very nice,. Food was good, but overall state and cleanliness did not meet my expectations. There was a beer festival going on, so I can understand that the place may have been overwhelmed. But there were signs of neglect and not meeting standard. Mission statement was to have the customer leave with a memorable experience. They did succeed in their mission, but not for all the right reasons.

Comfortable rooms even if for 3 in a Fairmont room with 2 double beds (extra small 130cm wide max) the place is cramped.
The table terroir for small eaters but irreproachable service. Evenings animated by a singer always of good taste. Simple and nice hiking trails. A stop rest finally pleasant even if the common spaces are icy: Why the air-conditioning is it tjs thrust so strong! To improve

A wonderful getaway, with enough amenities and activities, along with an attentive staff to make your stay as lively, or as calm, as you can stand it. Beautiful location, year 'round, and walking distance to ferry docks, scenic railroad, and local village flavor.

I took the time to book my room over the phone. I ...

I took the time to book my room over the phone. I specified my requests: a room on the upper floors, a room with a glass-enclosed shower and a room with the best possible view. Also, as a special request for amenities, I requested to have a refrigerator in the room and that I would pay the extra.

The room I was allocated was not on the upper floors (I was on the 2nd floor), I had a bathtub rather than a shower, I did NOT have a good view at all, taken in a corner dark with a view of a wing of the hotel where the sun hardly penetrated and above all, no refrigerator at my disposal.

That said, I understand the health policy related to COVID-19 and that they must leave a time between each stay. What I don't understand is that no one took care to let me know at reception. It would have been cordial if someone had told me, Sir, we have taken note of your special requests which we unfortunately cannot honor given XYZ. In addition, we cannot provide you with a refrigerator for reason XYZ. "

The impression that my passage leaves me is that they don't give a damn about our special requests.

I would have expected them to tell me upon arrival about my room preferences and especially the amenities specifically requested. If I ask for a refrigerator, it's because I need it! I don't think it's up to the client to repeat it when they arrive at reception given their reputation and the price of the stay.

Don't get me wrong, not all views are good. It was really disappointing ...

Lack of experience at reception.

The restaurant menu was simple and short, I was struggling to find anything to satisfy me.

I wrote to the establishment to let them know of my dissatisfaction and they did not see fit to answer me.

Really not up to par ...

Beautiful hotel, but I was disappointed with the service (asked for an ice bucket, never received, lack of communication between the staff, etc ...). My room, although very small, was well equipped and comfortable. Beautiful outdoor and indoor pools.

Beautiful hotel, huge, however, the quality ratio is a bit .. average. The room is expensive and in our suite we had several problems (it was 25 degrees while putting the air conditioning in the carpet), old task on the diva (blood?) And curtain not closing. By cons the employees are 10/10 and the bed very comfortable.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Manoir R...

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Manoir Richelieu on a few occasions over the past years and I most recently stayed here a few weeks ago.

My experience unfortunately was not up to high standards that brought us back with anticipation each time.

While the service and staff were excellent as always. They are really doing their best and very accommodating. I did find that there was a lack of organization with the use of the faculties which I understand could be in part attributes to covid. Upon arrival on a Saturday evening, we were informed that the restaurants at the hotel were pretty much all booked up for the night and that we might be lucky if we tried our chance at eating at the bistro (we ended up being lucky). Alternatives would be to go in town to eat (there are many excellent restaurants to choose from as we discovered during our stay) but even there most restaurants were already pretty booked nor a high priority when you have spent the day driving. Disappointing start to say the least.

Breakfast over the course of our stay was a bit chaotic. If you don t sit down at table by 9:00am, there s a good chance you won t be have breakfast at all as the queue is quite long at least an hour and if you arrive after 10, you might as well try to find breakfast elsewhere as the hotel stops serving breakfast at 11. Room service is not much of an option either, you end up waiting just as long.

While there is an excellent bakery in town, there are so many desperate guests of the hotel that there s a fairly long queue there as well!

If you do manage to eat at the hotel restaurants, the food is quite good and again the service is really good. Though something has to be said about the disgusting, sticky tables at the more up-scale St-Laurent restaurant, it really cuts your appetite when your cutlery sticks to the table. It s a far cry from the gastronomical experience of the Charlevoix Restaurant that was around a few years ago. Please just use a white cloth, it would drastically improve the experience!

The hotel being the resort that it is is could fairly easily more comfortably accommodate its guests by utilizing the conference rooms, public spaces and other restaurants which were not being used while I was there. I was lucky enough to stay while the weather still permitted us to use the outdoor facilities, I m not sure what will happen when it gets colder and everyone will want to snag the few tables with river views in the lounge.

The hotel continues to have its imposing, historical and old-world luxurious feeling but the lack of organization did put a damper on our enjoyment and leaves me hesitating whether we will return so long as the covid measures are in place.

The Manor is very famous, I agree. It's beautiful: the view of the river, the Manor itself, the amenities ... We liked the proximity to the Casino, no head breaking with parking. Despite all this, we were surprised by the exorbitant costs of the items at the bars, at the mini-bar. We ordered a microbrewery beer and a mojito at the bar of the hotel ... $ 33 with the tip! Outch The rooms are not so soundproofed. Next visit, we will choose a hostel or a motel ...
