It is a beautiful hotel, with an unbeatable view of the St. Lawrence River. One of the most amazing experiences I experienced was eating at the Le Charlevoix restaurant, which has AAA Four Diamonds, and seeing belugas from the window. The service is very attentive and the amenities available in the room are of great quality. The wifi is free only in the lobby area and the rooms are small. It has a huge casino and an area with indoor and outdoor pools. In the afternoon, at the hotel bar, a pianist and a singer cheer up the evening by performing songs in English and French. Staying here is quite an experience.

This Fairmont boasts a magical setting majestically located high above the St. Lawrence. Food quality is superb and service is flawless. Our bellman Louis was a delight, full of conviviality and great stories.
My top three Fairmonts are Banff Springs, Southampton Princess and this property.

5 star customer service. Beautiful location. Good food and good service at Table et terroir and St-Laurent. Small quantities but good quality! Rooms faithful to the Fairmont chain: Victorian style castle. Bathrooms at least could be refreshed.

Oversold, bad food quality, bad service. Don t waste your money, wait until the pandemic is over before travelling there, it s not worth it. Not better then a 2 star hotel. We had to shorten our trip, we could not take it anymore. Sorry is not enough !

Always located in breathtaking locations and with a chateau like architecture they are very iconic. This is my first stay and it was a mixed experience. It goes without saying that 5 star hotels are expensive, and I understand the business decision to have add-ons for premium (i.e. rich) guests, but in a 5 star hotel this should only be done if the regular version (i.e. included with the room) is acceptable. For instance, parking: you have the option of valet parking for premium customers for $26 a day, 2 near by parking lots for $12 a day without in and out privileges and the one included in the room 5-10min (depending where you find spots). Breakfast was reasonable for me, but not great; Cuisine in and out of the room pretty average; nothing really stands out other that the view - and in fact this is the only thing yo pay for.

This hotel is very picturesque. From the view of the St. Lawrence from the terrace to the swimming pools set in the middle of the trees. The rooms have everything you need and the beds are very very comfy. Our only complaint is that we couldn't get a room with a king size bed.

Very beautiful place filled with charm and history. Expensive rooms but interesting decor and related activities. Good restaurants with local products.

Downside during our stay, the magnetic keys did not work so we had to ask someone to open the door each time. No compensation was offered despite the high price tag. Very disappointing and not up to the standard of such an establishment.

We were given an upgrade because I had just retired after 40 years as an educator. The school staff had given me a Fairmont gift certificate. Our experience at the Richelieu created memories for a lifetime. Special thank you to Joy! We will be life time Fairmount clients! Thank you! Absolutely wonderful!

We recently ate at the T & T restaurant at the Fairmont La Malbaie. We do not recommend taking lobster as main course because we charge $ 50 for a half lobster, which ultimately gives us just 3 bites of lobster ...
What a scam !!

The opinion is for the restaurant Le Saint-Laurent. The directions are not clear and the hotel staff (valet) did not know how to guide us. Very disappointed with the buffet in the evening. The choices are very limited and besides the shrimp salad of Matane, it was not very tasty. Mac and cheese (not very tasty by the way) is limited for a $ 40 buffet. It was the only starch. A pint of beer was $ 12.50, it's just theft. I will never go back. Fortunately the waitresses were kind and smiling.

Super nice hotel where the details matter. Very satisfied with my stay of 3 days there. The rooms were nice and clean. The pool and spa area was great and very beautiful. (There is an indoor and outdoor spa as well as indoor). I intend to return one day. Nothing to say negative.

It's great we have a great time it is an excellent place everything is perfect but on the other hand I am very very disappointed with the restaurant le st Laurent the brunch on week is at 28.95 plus tx and service taking into account the variety of the menu and also if you just want to take an order of toast with jam and coffee and a little juice and well its become less expensive if you take half brunch oy you are entitled to your toast your coffee and your little juice because it is 17.95 plus tx and service and my friend at a price the Brunch and me a la carte c was branded pancates with FRESH FRUITS STRAWBERRIES BLUES AND FRANBERRIES WHEN MY LUNCH HAS ARRIVED I WAS SO SURPRISED THAT THE WAITRESS SAID ME YOU LOOKED VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR PLATE I HE ANSWERED THAT. YES VERY SURPRISED I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT AT ALL THERE WAS A LITTLE CREPES IN THE PLATE ON A TEASPOON OF BLUE JAM ON THE OTHER RASPBERRY AND THE OTHER STRAWBERRY NO FRESH FRUIT ON ALL AND I HAVE IT SAID THAT I WOULD GO 3 TIMES A WEEK TO EAT AT THE EXQUIS RESTAURANTS OR I HAVE 3 CREPES DOUBLE THE SIZE OF TWO OTHERS AND ON EVERY MANY OF THESE 3 FRUITS AND SLICES OF BANANAS IN ADDITION THEREFORE THIS IS WHICH I I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR PLATE I EXPECTED A LOT MORE QUALITY HERE AT FAIRMONT FOR TOYS THE PRICES THAT ARE EXPENDITURE IN YOUR RESTAURANTS AND WELL I EXPECT MORE QUALITY THAN THAT BUT ALL THE OTHER SERVICES OF YOUR BEAUTIFUL HOTEL ARE PRICE ME 10 OUT OF 10 AND THE ST HUBERT IS SUPER

Possibly the most beautiful hotel I have ever visited. Impeccable service; the staff are very helpful and friendly, and rooms are ultra-clean and well insulated. A magical place with huge verandas to read and relax. The swimming pools and the training room were perfect for that purpose. The most beautiful view that we can imagine. However, I must cut a big star by the lack of quality restaurant. The table and terroir was very disappointing value for money. Also, just getting yourself a coffee costs significantly too much. We decided to eat out for the rest of our meals.

This hotel advertises itself as pet friendly, it is not. We were there this summer for a week, from the start it was hell. With Jazz, our 6 month old Maltipoo, we couldn't go anywhere, no pool, no tennis, no restaurant and on top of that we couldn't leave Jazz alone in the room. So we were stuck in the room for two days while we found him a pension that we had paid dearly elsewhere.
For this inconvenience and others, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

If any one is trying to find great deals for hotel rooms check . made a reservation for a hotel on there and they had the best prices just about anywhere!

Spent a few days during COVID and felt very safe and extremely tranquil. Ate at both restaurants multiple times and protocols for COVID made me feel very safe. Absolutely recommended for a quiet getaway in a very scenic area of Quebec.
