The place is awesome. Really big with a lot of facilities, restaurants, immediate shopping needs, friendly and helpful staffs, huge huge rooms! It s a great place to have a staycation. The rooms are clean but the floors and wood furnitures should be cleaned spotless and be shiny. The floors has stains from water and some liquids which are dried only. It can be improved else the full stay was quite satisfying.

The time with you was wonderful, unforgettable. We would have vacation together again after a long time. Our daughter and us. Overall, the time in your hotel was a mean disappointment !!! The service is never competent, quite overwhelmed, too uneducated. The hotel room was only cleaned 4 times during 9 nights with the reason not to disturb our privacy even though we were never in the room from 08:00 to 16:00. The sheets were never changed. New Year's Eve to forget The boss didn't want to allow us to order the bottle of wine we ordered with dinner every evening !!! Reason: We would have reserved a table (we would also have to double the price, otherwise nothing to eat at half board on New Year's Eve without reservation and price) according to his information without alcohol! A joke right? He let us know via the waiter, the way to our table was too long. We got a "breakfast table" the other guests would have the more festive options. The next day the "gladly boss" wanted to nothing from us !!! The complex 5 * hotel, overall in a poorly maintained condition. But the prices are always of the highest level.
It's a very nice property with a view of creek facing but unfortunately I didn't get that room but none the less the food is great and not to forget about the service of Kartik Raja from the house keeping department, who is always there with a smile on his face and ready to help you on his toes. Keep up the good work .
Highly recommended hotel. The service is hardly comparable to other hotels, as all staff are very courteous and service-oriented. A "no" or "is not possible" never existed. In addition, the very spacious hotel rooms with the Fairmont View are comfortable and modern. The pool and beach area is very clean, so swimming is very pleasant. Due to the many restaurants and the buffet, the food is very varied. Furthermore, the location is good in my opinion, as you only have to pay 12 taxi to Yas Mall and you are not far from the Corniche. I would definitely visit the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi again.
Was very nice and we are so happy to meeting the new people like the staff in Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi their are very friendly and helpful all that just to have a comfortable stay in the hotel from the beginning in reception Abbos was smiling all the time Also Rim and from the concierge service AnnA she's helpful. The IRD and The housekeeping their are professional, also when I want to book was very easy with the reservation service .... Just we want to thanks all the staff in THall the department THINK YOU VERY MUCH see you soon
My rating dropped to 4 stars from 5. It dropped cos the changing room doesn't have a private room or cabinet to change, it is disgusting cos don't expect everybody to respect the rules!! This may seem a simple thing to other cultures but in our culture we don't like seeing others naked !!
This is a beautiful hotel clean and modern. Staff are so friendly they can't do enough to make your stay memorable. I will be coming back again especially for the clean safe beach and the buffet food the chefs prepare daily you will never be hungry.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Nice pool area u. Beach. Drinks quite expensive - when booking possibly on all inclusive. Food as a buffet of the "top class"
Really nice hotel. Beautiful grounds, not too far from the convention center. If you reserve well in advance the rates are reasonable for a hotel of this calibre. Large, inviting meeting rooms and public spaces. I have attended several events here and have been impressed with the service.
Incredible experience. This hotel was amazing. Beautiful room, lobby was huge. The pool was like and oasis with a beach right behind it. The view of the mosque was beautiful.
Catering and cleaning staff were very friendly but the reception service was very poor with hospitality absolutely not kid friendly hotel not suitable for children. Only nice thing was the location and view of the mosque from the room. But because of child Not worth repeating.
First of all from out side the outside fountains is old and the tiles is broken which means (0 maintenance)
The hotel lobby is good only at the evening because in the morning you will see all the bad finishes
It took 3 hours to give me my 2 (sea view) rooms after getting a wrong rooms (city view) and then chainging one by one
The hotel towels are damaged and so old.
The room interior finish is so bad.. some mirrors are damaged so they cover it with a sticker and the wallpaper is damaged
The beach water is green and the floor is full of algae.
My son after one hour inside the cold water his lips became blue. They promised me that they will make it worm but again the same is happening and the duty manager Rajeev is not helping and not professional because when a guest complaints to him he must call back and give an update or at least solve the problem!!!
However Mr. Salem is more professional and he came down with me to the pool and checked the temperature by himself but unfortunately the problem not solved as well.
At the end I called them at 8am to confirm my late checkout and they confirmed till 2pm, but unfortunately at 1 pm I was shocked that all the rooms cards are not working and we are stuck downstairs, so I had to go the main reception to speak with the duty manager again Rajeev but he showed me how unprofessional he is because he didn't even apologize or say anything except that is automatic from the system at 12 is deactivate the cards .. so I told him someone has to tell me that info. When I got confirmation for the late checkout.......
I love it this hotel cause all staff very helpful, friendly, kindness. The service is very fast, many thanks also to farida in the reception, she was nice and quick in the check-in and checkout thanks mr. Christopher the Carrier bags.
The over all stay was really nice. Our room had an amazing view we enjoyed every sunrise and sunset. The beach is eight under your feet ... the staff are so nice and friendly, we enjoyed the water sports and the room was spacious and spotless clean. I definetly recommend it for a nice staycation.
It just took me sometime to share my experience but what honestly made me post a review is that I just can t get over the bad attitude and behavior one of the managers had. My friends came in last Friday and we wanted to spend sometime. We wanted to book in, the staff at the door were super nice. They instructed saying you can approach the reception, do the booking and then park which was honestly convenient. A F&B Manger called was extremely rude, working in a healthcare sector I am super cautious about changing my mask every 3 hours for my personal convenience. While I was changing it he called me in a loud voice got all his hands up saying put the mask right now, now means now when his highness was not even putting it in while he was sitting. Honestly the management should better start looking up on there staff s attitude. There is no one who is completely irresponsible, everyone is staying cautious in this pandemic. We just left out and booked In Shangri la. I honestly rate Fairmont 1/5 because customer services is highly important. Make sure your front lines are well trained people and customer focused not Food and Beverage Managers who lack customer services and good attitude. Extremely poor
Poor, very bad... especially the cuisine restaurant.. Never ever go back again for any lunch or dinner.. food were good and fine. but the attitude of the supervisor were so rude and hes not able to help us when we are having difficulties redeeming groupon voucher. he waste our time waiting and forcing us to pay the dinner rate.. bec he said he cannot do anything.. but as per my understanding, we purchased the voucher for LUNCH OR DINNER in the same price. he want us to pay the whole amount and use the voucher for next day! Hes so rude! Never ever go back again! i will cancel all my reservation to them!
Treated ourselves to the 36 hour package which included brunch, over night stay, breakfast and poolside lunch Brunch was extremely good,pics dont do the food justice. Our waiter was v slow with the drinks but the experience was v gd. Our room had problems with a broken loo seat, blocked sink and we couldn't connect with the wi fi on our laptop - mobiles fine. Disappointed with the room for a 5 star hotel, but we did enjoy the wkend We will come again when the weather gets cooler and we can enjoy the pool
Beautiful hotel. Had an amazing stay whilst I was in Abu Dhabi for the Formula 1 race. Great food. Fantastic restaurants, gym and pool. The portraits in the corridors also add such a lively touch to the place.
Unfortunately I have to reduce my experience rating with Fairmont, I got a very long workshop hosted by a government entity in here.
I own a Tesla which requires charging and Fairmount got 1 charging available. Today I was not allowed to charge my car as am not a hotel guest although the meeting rooms where booked for the whole workshop for a couple of months. After few arguments with the duty manager, she allowed me to charge but clearly stated that they will remove my car if a hotel guest asked for the charger.
This treatment is not acceptable as by hosting the workshops in Fairmount, that means am considered one of the guest, however, the team in the reception was advised that only people who reserves room are considered guests.
