I am so very grateful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for allowing me to enjoy the Fourth of July race. The Fairgrounds Speedway made me feel welcomed and safe. As Smashville went back to a hybrid form of phase 2 on July 03, 2020, it was so refreshing to hang out with joy in my heart. We as a community of race fans followed the new COVID-19 health guidelines for the well being of ourselves and others. We were united in solidarity, because Mr. Corona wants us to live in fear and panic. We will continue to wear our face masks, wash our hands, and practice social distancing. By the grace and mercy of Father God, we will not let COVID-19 drive our hearts into a frozen state of despair.

They were nice and helpful. I purchased a lot of stuff and I forgot my wallet when it came time to pay. I laughed and said "sorry I'll be right back". Thankfully there was no line. I went in to realize I left my debit card laying back in my car. She laughed but made me feel normal about it. Made jokes about it as in you have no idea how many times it happens a day. Just seemed like a good environment and felt safe there.

Historic Landmark. Dad took me for the first time in 1969. Racing's royalty have run here . Even saw Alice Cooper here in concert once! The city should cherish this place . VERY affordable clean family fun . Coolers welcome! No glass or alcohol.
New management keeps the pace moving to appease the neighbors. Been to 5 races this yr all done by 10pm .Its maybe 9 races a year. Get over it .Works great . Change nothing!!!

Cool

Review of JingleBeat, not the track.

Review of JingleBeat, not the track.

Absolutely not worth the money. The lights are ridiculous, nothing is Christmas related. It s just a concert light show with red and green lights spread out over a racetrack, and then you have to loop back and forth through the track for 40 minutes looking at the same lights over and over again.

Might entertain VERY small children, but no one else.

If you d been able to drive around the track at 70 mph to look at the lights it would have been more interesting.

Instead I was on my phone or looking at extension cables on the ground.

If you see pictures or videos of it, it looks much more impressive than in person.

Save your money!

The historic Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville is a great place to be on Saturday nights. It has a fun family atmosphere and 7 divisions of action packed, wheel to wheel, fender rubbing racing. It's the only place to be on a hot summer Saturday night.

I will never go to an event at this location without knowing the full exit traffic pattern expectations. It was the worst experience I have ever had leaving any venue. Beyond that the facilities were fine and the merchant that had rented the space for their event conducted themselves very well.

Had a decent time here with the family. Some of the workers there could use a few courses in politeness and professionalism as that was lacking from the younger looking staff. The burgers were NOT good for the $5 they cost...Overpriced nasty food is never a good look when you're trying to enjoy an event! Bring your own everything then you can enjoy the race!!

I love this place always love hearing the cars race, I can hear them from my house & I live closer to Murfreesboro Pike. Sometimes they rent it out to different events but when you are given an end time and your event is still going just let me say this when Tony says it's time to go it's time to go. LIGHTS OUT! Lmao

Very very nice and friendly place. Good place for humans like me. I was privileged enough to meet a nice young boy named Hubert. I repeat, I am human. I recommend this place for all humans, as you might meet Hubert too!

The atmosphere is AMAZING. If u can deal with rednecks that are respectable. $10 each person for 5+ races and sit anywhere available. Great show, and the promoter Tony (forgot his last name) enjoys involving the crowd in activities between races. Highly recommend to ANYONE who is looking for some good family fun. Due to its colorful past, the Fairground Board (including the work of big racing names like Darrel Waltrip, Rusty Wallace, Earnhardt family) has brought it back from a cespool to a VERY family friendly pace to visit. Given that it is a working progress and it isnt the best looking suroundings, local racers will not let it end up like Nashville Superspeedway. Anyone can enter their personal car in a race if it meets requirements of the officials. This place is truely an interesting piece of Nashville

This place is not in the best of shape these days but Tony Formosa and his team are doing a fine job considering that the city of Nashville will not award him a long term lease to where he can invest capital in the facilities. Racing action was good with very respectable car counts in most divisions. This place has produced many top level Nascar drivers over the years because of the quality of the competition and the challenging and unique design of the 5/8 mile track. Take your family and enjoy this southern treasure.

The place was fine. I'm more mad at the event that went on there, where I had a booth, and ended up not only getting my things stolen, but was told that police had to be amped up because of the demographic that was there. I don't even know how to rate this...
