We were recommended by our friends who previously visited Aguas Caliente. Located on the second floor, the layout of the cafe is very laid back and not very busy, especially in the morning since most visitors are at Machu Pichu. For the same reason, selection of bakery is the largest in the afternoon. The coffee and bakery selection is very reasonably priced and for the quantity, it is a lot for the value! We returned here many times during our trip.

We got our breakfast and lunch sandwiches here. They were fresh and delicious. After coming down we had pizza, chicken curry pie, pain au chocolat, custard slice and homemade hot chocolate everyone loved their choice. All delicious.

Desserts were delicious, highly recommended white chocolate mousse, mainly it is a bakery but they also offer a sandwich in case someone wants something salty, I went with my friends almost at closing time and the owner kindly gave us advice on going to Machupichu And he invited us for a complimentary dessert.

If you come here just order coca tea because you can t go wrong with this. We ordered cappuccino and cafe con leche. The latter was just about drinkable but the cappuccino was burnt and just really terrible. The atmosphere is however nice and it s probably marginally better than the other overpriced places in Aguas Calientes.

We will not lie to you, the whole of what you will read below is largely influenced by our exacerbated chauvinism. A real bakery, in the most faithful French tradition, reinventing itself a bit, borrowing from the local products their exotic flavors. We met his boss, one of the few on the spot, who does not skimp on the conversation, gritty jokes to great anecdotes ... France at the foot of Machu Pichu. Love and sesame seed!

Pastry that has only the name of Paris, is located in the center above the departure of the buses to Machu Picchu. Rich selection of desserts and some savory ready meals (empanadas, sandwiches etc). Decent quality, we took a cake with strawberry and custard without infamy and without praise. You pay only in cash.

I ate a brochure of jamon and queso and was sick. It was in the showcase on display. I was afraid to eat but the attendant said she had just done it. We also ordered a cappuccino with bayle's and it was awful.

They sell good pastries and sandwiches, even if overpriced as most of the places in the area. The real problem is they don't want to sell the baguettes they use to make the sandwiches, which is a shame for a "boulangerie".

The food here is great. We had empanadas, bruschetta, croissants (or something like them), etc. Nice for a quick bite because everything is mostly ready and just needs to be heated up. Great for if you are waiting for your bus up the mountain (to Machu Picchu) or for your train to head back to Ollantaytambo. It's also right next to the main market so you can get all the souvenirs you've ever wanted.

We were travelling with my son who was 10 years old at the time, after walking 4 .5 hrs from hidroelectrica in the rainy dark we stumbled across this wonderful place which was about to close, we ordered hot beverages which were bliss, customer service was fantastic & the owner went out of his way to help us find our hotel, he even went as far as walking us there. We are forever grateful lots of love from Melbourne, Australia.
