Good service friendly staff. Even the bouncers we're cool when I walked into the store and just cut the whole line (not on purpose) the only problem I had was sitting out in the cold for over an hour just to find out that the pair of shoes I won in the raffle was a general release pair but they advertised the special pair on there site and IG page. Other then that I can't complain

Amazing! This is a must see for all Sneakerheads visiting NYC. I picked up a clean pair of polka dot/camo Reebok Furylites and was very impressed. The staff was very friendly and shared advice and opinions on sneakers to help pick out some that really suited my style! Tons of variety there, from classic retro Jordan's to swag sauconys and crazy light up adidas. Very nice atmosphere. 10/10.

This place is huge! They had tons of shoes to choose from. Their staff are also friendly and they also accommodating!

Waste of time. Same sneakers as ft. Locker. Champs.ext. retailors. But differwnt colorways. And o yeah overpriced. They had island green 13 2 weeks after they came out for 250. Total rip off.

Joined a raffle and tried to opt out before the raffle was drawn, Took my money and then gave me horrible options of exchanges or store credit.
Also they dont offer free shipping. Biggest scam ever and the last time I will do business or recommend anyone else to do business with them.

Favorite place to visit in New York for sneakers and streetwear. The selection is not the biggest, but it's really well curated, and the staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly.

Next time I visit New York I'll probably just skip directly to Extra Butter instead of walking from shop to shop browsing

I ordered a pair of Adidas Star Wars Lando shoes on Tuesday November 24th. I gave them correct address. How is it that my package was deliver to a historical site four blocks away from my apartment. USPS says it was Delivered to a front door/ porch mind you I don t have a porch. Not only did usps deliver it to the wrong address they delivered on an observed holiday. When I email extra butter it took them six hours to reply to my emails, no solution has occurred, when you called the store there s no answer. I ve been buying shoes online for a long time this is as unprofessional as it gets.

Cool street wear shop in NY. I ended up grabbing a shirt on my last day in NY. They've got a decent shoe selection and some of their own branded gear. Come in and check it out.

Chill place. Have never heard of or been to this place before but found out they had a pair of kicks I was looking for that's sold out just about everywhere except eBay and other marketplaces like FlightClub. Service is awesome and accommodating (Thank you Amanda), and very wide selection of shoes at MSRP (beats paying a premium off of other marketplaces). Would definitely recommend this place and will most likely be coming back soon

if im in the city extra butter is one of the stops i have to make. great selection and super dope collabs always in the works. the store is setup kinda like a movie theater and they actually have movie nights where they pop popcorn and show movies.

Always a great place for affordable streetwear and new shoe drops, i'm in Jersey so anytime i'm in Manhattan it is a must visit.

I Ordered my merchandise, received confirmation email but never received tracking number. Long story short I email support & found out the shoes I ordered was sold out & I had to get a refund then they created a shipping label with a tracking number. However my remaining one item has not currently been shipped the (next business day per statement of shipping on website) but... they today created. Shipping label that hadn t been received via USPS. I ll NEVER shop with this business EVER again *Bad business, I work hard for my money therefore I want spend it dealing with anthing SHADY

The selection isn't as large as it use to be in the store. I miss the room full of Jordan's. I also miss the large selection they use to have in the store!

SO disappointed...came all the way from Houston on Friday took a cab from Midtown to the location only to be turned way b/c they were closing for a special event...wouldn't even let us shop for 10 min. smh...

NYC is a city with quite a number of sneaker shops, shop owners have a tough time distinguishing theirs from the rest. Extra Butter achieves that from their very reasonable sneaker prices, to knowledgeable staff, and their store design resembling a movie theater. They are a quickstrike (limited edition) sneaker shop who know their loyal clients, and treat them that way. I had questions about future releases, and even shoes that will never come to their shop. They knew where I could find the sneaker I was looking for and gave me a referral. If you are ever in the LES on a sneakerhunt, make sure you stop at this location during your search.

Bad customer service. I understand all sales are final but on the page it says certain exceptions can be made especially since the product was not shipped yet and it was less that 24 hours after the purchase.

I'm not a sneaker freak, but the guys at Pilgrim New York on Orchard recommended that I come here for my sons' sneaker obsession. Check out Pilgrim while in the neighborhood for unworn vintage, japanese and european designer goods. My sons love Extra Butter, but I'm 50, a woman, and I have a different aesthetic lol. I enjoyed it. Extra Butter is cool. But Pilgrim will always remain my go to shop for authentic designer goods.

If your into sneakers and urbain streetwear Extra Butter is right up your alley, store layout is not crowded and is easy to maneuver around in great sneaker selection when I was there, very nice staff and helpful, there's also a candy bar there where you can purchase candy... great touch.

Was nervous my shoes were not gonna come in the right color, or be damaged but nope. They were clean and shipped within 3-5 days. Will deff order them again

When I m out shopping for sneakers and clothes the ONLY store I need is Extra Butter NYC! They have the best variety of sneaker brands as well the as the top name brands out. The staff is always overly welcoming and always willing to help and point me in the right direction as far as what s popular and what s about to blow up. A very knowledgeable and caring crew of people and always a pleasure to shop there!

I m from Delaware and I ordered my boyfriend the adidas FYW s-97 sneakers on Friday March 1st, 2019, and I literally just received them today March 4th, 2019!!! Amazing! Everything was in great condition and shipped fast! I was definitely surprised when I saw them at my door, not many places ship that fast (except for amazon) lol definitely recommend this site

Excellent store that gets most of the exclusive releases from Nike, Adidas, Asics and more. This store stands out the most from other boutiques because of it's helpful and knowledgeable staff. They really give a great community vibe every time you step in.

Trendy small show and athletic clothing shop in an interesting space that seems like it may be a converted movie theater. The selection of running shoes was pretty good and had many brands, though prices were high. The clothing selection is pretty tiny. The staff was busy chatting and didn't really even notice us.

When your looking for that unique pair of kicks. This place should be on a sole collectors or sneakerheads list. Good days are the weekend. Parking on a weekday in this area, is no joke. Weekends are kool. On sundays Orchard st is closed off to vehicular traffic.

One of the best sneaker stores in the city and also the world. Amazing selection of Nike Air Max, Hurrache, Roche, SBs, and more esoteric models. Big selection of non-Nike sneakers including one-off collaborations and special editions. Very nice streetwear selection and cool "less common" Herschel bags. Their store brand clothing is super dope. This is a place to look for sneakers that you won't see everyone else wearing. Staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable.

This place let's thug resellers friends cut the drop line and has no true moral business ethics, plus the stuff is cheap, the jackets I got from their north face collab are already losing stitching.

This is the spot to get some of the rarest sneaker drops and collaboration. Great staff. Big difference than kiiiitthh. They make your shopping a great experience. But I don t give it a 5 star rating because since they make people line up in a dark alley basically the people don t follow rules or care to stay in a orderly civilized manners. It s like they leave a piece of bacon surrounded by things that haven t ate for a year. So it can be a bad idea to make lines at this location. I think they need more security. But yeah when they say stay away from allies back in the 80 s this is what they mean. But it s 2018 let s see if they can manage to control the people. Other wise if you want to be in a safer line I would recommend another location if your the type of person who doesn t like to be in situations that you really don t want to be in. Maybe they should just do raffles like all other stores that had this common issues in the past. But not sure if Extra has the budget to do such a thing thru their website or if they make an app. Would be cool to see.

Extra Butter has definitely become a neighborhood staple. If you are ever in NY, it is always worth stopping by. From the excelent staff, wide range of sneakers and apparel to the movie-like atmosphere (which is set up to have actual movie nights), this place is second to none.

This place is Awesome!! They keep the heat for your feet and stay with the sauce for your drip! Its a total vibe! Another thing is their Customer Service is unmatched anywhere. They actually want to hear what you have to say and will respond to THAT. Not a generic answer they tell everyone. They actually care. Not to mention they are a socially woke store. Our concerns with the community are their concerns with the community. Great staff and really helpful. It's a cool spot for sneaker/ clothes lovers. Although they don't have much, the rotation of the items is what gives the store a lottery type feeling. It's a store that you can always go back to and won't be disappointed.
