Nice, neighborhood park. Full frisbee-golf course, tennis courts with a backboard, basketball court, seasonal (?) Restrooms, parking, playground. Borders on Highline trail. Views of mountains!

Negatives? Visible trash in waterways, geese/ geese guano EVERYWHERE, so I might recommend keeping your shoes on, then checking shoes before going indoors.

UPDATE: The City of Aurora was busting up the clay courts, a worker informs that all new clay, nets and backboard are coming!

Nice area. It has spots for disc/frisbee, basketball, even trails that can range from half a mile to 1.5 miles or more depending where you turn on your loop. People running or walking or just hanging out and doing their thing. Can be tiring

There is a great frisbee golf course here. Lots of challenging holes that go across and along the lake so make sure you have discs that float or just accept the fact that you may lose one or two.

I love how close I live to this park and that it has a nice trail and a frisbee golf course. There is a playground for kids and there is now a small rec center at the south end of the park. The downsides to this park are the geese poop everywhere and the trashed up lakes. People have left their bottles, chip bags, etc. at the park and the wind has blown all that into the water. Could really use a community clean up. Aside from that the frisbee golf course is fun and has a few challenging holes that are very near the water. The High Line Canal Trail also runs right beside this park.

Horrible place! Don't go! Nothing but foul mouthed, vulgar, disrespectful kids running around. The adults in the park appear to be homeless or impoverished (approachd by nefarious looking characters for money several times). Saw drug needles in the Grass as well as discarded alcohol bottles. So if you would like to fear for your life, head over to expo park! Hadn't been back in a while (grew up in Aurora). Expo park, Aurora mall, and several other places in Aurora reconfirm that my decision to move to another suburb was the best decision of my life. I only have to go to Aurora seldomly to visit family and to be honest, I don't like going at all anymore and I'm becoming an Aurora despiser! Steer clear Expo Park!

As parks go, this one isn't exactly my favorite. It's immaculate and gorgeous, and I'd love to be able to go out there to read more often due to the Starbucks across the street, but they get some really overly zealous frisbee fanatics who don't pay attention to where they're throwing or how loud they're getting.

There is a play area however it is also a frisbee golf course, has multiple baseball diamonds and is all surrounded by three ponds with creeks and footbridges connecting it all. Very large park with very nice natural surroundings even in the midst of the city.

During a visit to a friend s house yesterday, I decided to go across the street to take my dog for a walk at the park. I was actually impressed with the layout and walking paths for visitors and their pets. The park was quite clean free of trash and debris, friendly people, and well maintained. The park is not extravagant, but it serves its purpose and gives a warming invitation. I highly encourage others to visit if in the area to take a nice leisurely stroll in the park.

Very nice and clean park. Excited too live so close to it. The park has very nice tennis courts, a small basketball court and a paved walking path. Also with a play area for kids, it was a little bit small. And has a disc golf course. There are ponds and mini streams throughout the park that could use some water features so the water doesnt sit stagnate. Overall a lovely little park.

One of the best places in the metro area for disc golf. Just off the highline canal bike trail. Easily accessible by the number 3 RTD bus route on Alameda. Plenty of waterfowl and wildlife in the evenings. Rec center on the south side, softball diamonds, paved trail smooth enough for skating around the ample sized park. Lots of park benches for those who need to rest. One of the best parks in Aurora.

Expo Park in Aurora is a great neighborhood park. ...

Expo Park in Aurora is a great neighborhood park. The recreation center is always clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about activities. There is a small workout room a ms well as a variety of exercise and other activities offered.

There is a outdoor playground suitable for toddlers as well as young children. The basketball court and tennis courts have been recently renovated and are in great condition. (As a side note, this is not a huge tennis playing neighborhood- the city should have added additional basketball courts and reduced the number of tennis courts.)

There are well maintained walking paths around and through Expo Park. They are wide enough for dog walking, bike riding, roller blaring, ect.

Expo Park has a disc golf course, and it is used all the time! There are also 2 fenced baseball fields.

The park is also used for little league football and soccer practices and games.

There are a few areas around the park suitable for family gatherings. However, there are no pavilions or picnic tables so bring your own! The city did plant many new trees last year and as they mature it will help beautify the park as well as add needed shade.

Many people use the park to walk and exercise their dogs. There are doggy waste bag stations available in several locations around the park. (Please use them and dispose of your dogs waste!)

Expo Park is really a terrific neighborhood park!
