Great place with alternative coffee and wall with painting from visitors

very nice service and atmosphere, loved it. Tea & cakes were delicious! Definetely coming back some day...

Great coffee, great food, great people, fantastic ambience.

It's one of those places that doesn't need to brag about itself or need flashing lights, etc. as the place and people sell itself!

If you know about it, consider yourself amongst the fortunate and blessed...

I have been lured in here several times, but in the UK, no one knows how to bake. In this cozy place they know how to make their sweets look great, but when you buy the overpriced cakes you soon realise it was just a trick, a facade, a promise that wasn't kept, the love your mom never gave you, a dream of heaven, the hell of disappointment.

While waiting for our 7pm Jack the Ripper tour, I ran over and grabbed a ham and cheese flat bread and hot chocolate for take away.
Everything was delicious and ready quickly. Perfect to hold us over during the tour until we could eat a proper dinner.
Very friendly staff and the baked goods looked exquisite, but I didn't try anything- my only regret.

Good place to work, study, eat breakfast, drink coffee or/and hang out with friends.
Nice v60, wide choice of desserts, croissants, cakes or cookies. Delicious avocado toast with poached egg. Vegan and vegetarian options on the menu are available too.
Staff is always willing to advice on food or coffee. One of my favourite cafes in London!

Edit: Actually, I guess it depends on the staff that is there. They sometimes close 30 minutes earlier. It happened to me twice already with the same person behind the counter. 7:30 they have everything "cleaned" or they "ran out".
Very disappointing especially if you've been their customer for a long time.

Racist cafe.

I went to a cafe and I feel dirty, and I leave a review.
I had a sandwich for a cup of coffee, I got 8.5 pounds, got 10 pounds, and I gave it a card.
And he sat down to eat (I was the only Asian in the whole meal, and all Westerners).
I'd like to ask you if I was going to get any fake bills. It's really unpleasant for me to go pay for my meals and get treated like this. If you're going to be racist, just write it in front of the restaurant. No Asians allowed.

A small cafe with the worst ventilation system... been there twice for breakfast and I could smell the 'RESTAURANT' whole day...

Delicious coffee and mouthwatering pastries and sandwiches for all to see from the window. I must have consumed triple digits of flat whites from this place since 2013, and I don't think I have yet been disappointed by any one of them. The space has a convivial atmosphere and a perfect place to while away sometime before or after visiting the Whitechapel Gallery next door.

One of the few tents that is open on Christmas Day. It does not stand out from the outside but is super cozy inside. Tasty smoothies and food. Coffee was good too. Special to see all napkins and notes on the wall

Lovely cute place, with delicious food! The variety of fresh Mediterranean salads and sandwiches are great and the breakfast is delicious too, as-well as their beverages namely the orange and carrot fresh juice and cappuccino. Great also for those that want halal! (Personally, I think it s better than grounded.. if not the same, with added benefit of not having to wait in a crazy line as with grounded..)

Really loved this cosy little place! The eating area was really nice and the staff was so welcoming and kind, that with the yummy healthy food it was overall a lovely meal! All the vegetables were so fresh and tasty, and the cakes were just yum, sweet but just rightly so.

Their coffee and food is soo tasty! Prices are absolutely fine, customer service is okay, the place well situated and looks fine.

It is a small coffee place with super nice and helpful, brick walls, genuine food, every coffee has got a genuine theme such as hearts, flowers and the tips box is called karma machine. Very recommended!

Not only is the coffee excellent, the baristas in this bright welcoming cafe greet customers with wonderfully refreshing friendliness.

Honestly most of the food here is amazing (I've tried all of it pretty much). I especially like all the different salads they make, the savoury croissants and the pecan pies!

Amazing brunch food and sweets with vegan and vegetarian options available. Everything we ordered was delicious. Limited seats inside but it's about 40p cheaper per piece to take away anyway.

Excellent Coffee Shop in the Aldgate area that's a hidden gem. I say hidden gem because the name of this shop isn't anywhere obvious on the outside. I don't know if that's a clever ploy to keep mass amounts of people from discovering this place because there is limited seating.

That said, the staff here are very friendly and welcoming when taking your orders. They have a huge selection of food, sweet and savoury on display in the window ( a way to entice you into the shop). They have everything from flat bread sandwiches and mini pizza's to Muffins and Custard Tarts.

Then there's the coffee itself which is amazing. The blend they used when I went was perfect in their Flat White and Cappuccino as it was smooth and velvety in the mouth with the milk. They also have free wifi here (password at the moment being: antisocial2016, you have to laugh at the irony of the name) which also make it a good place for working. There is a toilet downstairs which you can use just in case.

I'm used to very good coffee and croissants. I was not disappointed here. On the contrary, after the first coffee with chocolate croissant, I ordered a second round.

Great location (by the underground). Coffee is good, sandwiches and cakes are even better. All reasonably priced. Staff were great too. Good way to start your day.
