This was a nice find. There is no name on the store front but the place looks very inviting. Service was quite despite the queue. There is ample seating space even though it is a bit cramped. Food was a bit bland for my taste. I tried the chicken harissa wrap which I expected to be a bit spicy. Will definitely go again and this time try the Eggs Benedict, which looked yum.

Trendy little cafe offering good coffee, food and cakes. The staff are so friendly and helpful. It's nice to find a coffee shop which is not a big chain as it has its own character and feels more personal. The broccoli, peppers and aubergine quiche was one of the best I've ever had. The carrot cake muffin was moist and yummy too. Wheelchair access: It's step-free to get in but I was so engrossed in the food I forgot to check if there were disabled toilets. I guess it just means I have an excuse to come back to try everything else on the menu :)

This coffee shops adjacent to Whitechapel gallery is oddly anonymously. There's no sign outside to indicate the name of the cafe. However, the cafe is unmistakable. It's appealing arrangement of food displayed when taking a glance through the shop window to see the beautifully laid out food inside. This little cafe serves lots of delicious (and fantastic looking) snacks, cakes, pastries, brownies in the shape of muffin, sandwiches, flatbread sandwiches etc.

The coffee is pretty good, but a little expensive for what you get especially if it's just for a morning coffee to take away.

One of my favourite coffee places in London, it's really easy to walk past because it's so discreet and doesn't have a sign..and that's what makes it so special. You've got to have been a customer before to know what it's called. Otherwise most people wouldn't know about it. Makes you feel special. Like it's your secret. It's so good here and it's so discreet and that's what makes it.

For me that was the rescue in the morning before we rushed from the Aldgate Station in the tourist hype. Great also the 100th news and drawings on the wall by student painters and other great people. For me as a KUNSTMALER an atmosphere that I did not regain all over London.

Very smooth nice coffee, trendy place, quite expensive. I'm not a huge fan of leaving such a wide array of cakes, pastries and savoury snacks out on the counter all day. An almond croissant home-filled with frangipan was lovely but lemon polenta cake was a dry, crumbly slab and too big as a portion. Better to charge 1/3 less for 1/3 smaller piece. Generous portions are nice but it's not value, you're still paying generous prices.

Exmouth has no signage, but there's no need with a window full of amazing pastries, cakes and ginormous meringues catches your eye and lure you in.

I've been frequenting Exmouth since 2015 when I first moved to London. The cakes drew me in but the exceptionally good coffee and friendly staff kept me coming back every day.

They take coffee very seriously, sourcing and roasting their own beans in a warehouse behind the cafe. They also make all their food onsite which means it's always fresh and delicious - I highly recommend the chicken, pesto flat bread wraps and any of the cakes, or pasteries, but my favourites are the chocolate almond croissants and the "Chocolate Fudge Bar" - be careful though, it's super rich so you might want to share.

There's a lively vibe, modern decor and intimate feel to the cafe. With a reasonable amount of seating but it does get very busy at lunch and in the weekends. Oh, and if it's full, why not try Grounder just down the road - it's owned by the same guys and has equally good coffee and food.

Went there to work with my friends but constantly got discourteous vibes from the waitress of us staying there for too long. Made us feel really unwelcome. Food and coffee were both okay, not outstanding. Don't think I'd go back there again though.

This is a gem of a coffee shop. You can walk by a ton just like it on Whitechapel Road, but what makes Exmouth superior is the amazing quality of food and ingredients. I had a turkey, brie and mango chutney flatbread with a fresh arugula, More

Food was good, place it's pretty cool but the blond lady was so impatient and grumpy taking the order that I wouldn't come back. That are places like that were the staff treat you with a smile on the face

What a shame they don't care as much about animal welfare as they do about coffee. I previously gave this place 5 but recently found out the meat they use in their flatbreads is halal. Sorry, i prefer my food organic, ethically sourced or, at the very least, untortured. Won't be going back.

They were having trouble with the order given the queues. One of.our orders was wrong and another was undercooked. I would love to give it the benefit of doubt and visit it again, given the dept of their menu- however they are in a neighborhood with plenty of choices.

One of my locals, great coffee but unfortunately was met with awful vibe from the two baristas /servers today. No greeting, no eye contact, and it wasnt even that busy. It was as if they were 'too cool' to engage, with no smile from them, we asked nicely for our order and waited with no indication how long it would be. I asked how much longer (i had an intercity train to catch and noticed people who ordered after had been served before us) and she coldly without any charm or apology for the wait, said in under a minute. And when they were made, they werent even handed over. Great coffee but not appreciating the 'holier than thou' attitude they presented today. Increased the bitterness of an otherwise perfectly acidic flat white. In a fairly anonymous city, it is nice not to be treated badly/invisibly when spending in an establishment. Small niceties in these places strengthens a community and loyalty. Give these two a talking to about social capital and basic service.

Best in the area. Open until 8pm on Sundays! Great baked goods, sandwiches and salads. Solid interior but I think the lights (especially the wall lights and chandelier) needs rethinking because the atmosphere could be improved with better lighting.

Really good breakfast and great service. They even cleared a table for us (for 5 people) when there were singles sitting alone. Prices are okay considering.... food and drinks kept coming to the table immediately when they got ready, so no hot stuff served cold even though the house was full. Worth for second round!

The folded flat bread sandwich things are lush and the coffee only comes in one size so you get a consistent strength.

Such a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. Mocha was great; strong with a nice chocolate taste. We could have sat and talked for hours if they didn't have to close. The baristas and waitresses were friendly and welcoming. The wall taped with mementos, writing and drawings added such character to the place. Definitely would love to go back.
