I just want to say what a great community partner they are here in Framingham. Kelsey is such a great partner to work with. They always have great events going on and great beer also! All of our residents who pop over to try their beer love it. Great Gem here in Framingham.

This is the old Jacks Abby spot, which doesn't have the vibe of the new bigger place down the street. Still, a nice taproom with a good view of the brewery floor. Quality is fantastic, as they don't have the volume and crowds yet. Staff is talkative and friendly with plenty of beer and industry knowledge/experience. And for being about four months old, 8+ taps and 6+ can offerings is as good as it gets. Great new brewery and a must-visit!
Great place to have a beer, live music playing in the brewery depends on when you come. Very cool merchandise for sale as well. They serve pretzels and chips if you're hungry, no other food.
You're going here and leaving with at least one thing, an amazing experience. Katie and the mate working at the bar are amazing, and the no-frills seating area offers patrons the chance to taste beer and feel a brewery for what it is, with no flashy gimmicks. A real family inside those doors. My first, and definitely not my last, time visiting Exhibit A. (ps. Demo tape 15 was amazing!)
Beer was good, unfortunately bartender was extremely entitled and even went so far as to talk poorly about other customers based solely on how much they tipped which left a bad taste.
Small but excellent legal-themed brewery with an assortment of drafts. The have a great selection of IPAs which is a huge draw for me. It s not exactly spacious, but it doesn t feel too crowded either. The employees are wonderful, welcoming, and willing to explain the menu. They have some snacks but there are food trucks here sometimes too and you re allowed to bring in your own food. There s even some board games in the back if you get bored!
WELL one of the 5 beers I had was good. There wasn't much variety in the others. Definitely stop by and try it out but not a place I'd go regularly. Try danko. I ended up buying a 4pk cause it was quite good. But the other 3 IPAs on tap should have been more interesting.
Nice atmosphere inside. I prefer the inside sitting area, but they do open up the brewery for additional seating if you want to see the brewery. Great beer selection.... a little something for everyone
I meant to write this review before now- I love Exhibit "A" and their summer beer garden. They're running it through the fall and there is aways a good food truck. Family friendly: YES. Dogs: Yes. Great beer: Yes. With this 'new norm' I'd recommend you bundle up and come for a polar bear picnic. It's really important to support local right now so don't forget to grab some cans. Cheers! (Photo from the internet. I was having so much fun I forgot to snap a pic. It was very busy when we were there and direct sun.)
Beer was good, large space, and friendly staff. It looked like a band was setting up, but we left before they started playing. There was a food truck outside but besides small snacks, I don't think they serve anything else.
My husband and I came here for live music and pop-up ramen a few weeks ago. I asked about vegan options, and the brewery worked with the pop-up owners to have some vegan ramen available. So grateful! Thanks for helping us make a fun date night. :)
Sunday football on a giant screen. They usually show the Patriots on an excellent rear projection screen that must be 12 feet long. Both sound and image are excellent. A great place to grab a beer and watch the game, and no one knows about it. Bring your own eats. Go now!
Taking over Jack's Abby's old space, Matthew Steinberg has created a brand to showcase his over twenty years of professional brewing experience. The taproom is a bit small, but it never feels crowded. Every pour is done true to style with proper glassware and an in-depth knowledge of what you're about to drink. There is plenty of canned offerings available to bring home and enjoy. The taproom staff is knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. If you ever find yourself in the Framingham area (most likely visiting the new Jack's Abby space), be sure to stop in.
Love their beers, Cat's Meow and Hair raiser are great New England style IPA and double IPA, the Sunday morning coffee stout is fantastic too. They are always trying out different stuff and they are all good. They don t have food but will have food trucks there.
Besides the fact these guys make REALLY yummy beers (across the board) - it s also an incredible place to hang out and/or host an event! I threw my boyfriends surprise 30th bday in the brewery room and it was a total hit. The perfect vibe, great beer, relaxed environment, SUPER helpful/accommodating/fun staff. Everyone was raving about how much of a great time they had. And Kelsey (the event manager) was so amazing to work with! Would highly recommend to anyone - can t wait to go back!
Great beer but the staff had quite the attitude, there were so many rules about the number of beers you could get and how you could get them. They ran out of flight glasses with about 12 people in the tasting room. They also don't sell the actual growlers and refuse to fill growlers that have any logo's on them, very confusing. Good beer, rude staff, infuriating rules.
The beer here was pretty great. We had one of each on their draft list and they were all really good. I would recommend holding off on buying their pretzel though--it felt hard and wasn't worth it. Of course the beer is what you're coming for anyways.
One of the best local breweries around / potentially in the state, very good picks between their Cat's Meow, Demo Tapes, Sunday Paper and many more plus a very cheery staff. Always happy to have their beers in the fridge.
In the old Jack's Abbey Brewing space, Exhibit 'A' has expanded across the street. Seasonally, they have a beer garden set up with live music and food. A couple of our group went from the tasting room to the beer garden to pick up food for the group. While waiting for it, we bought a beer. The food was done more quickly than we drank our beer, but we weren't able to take the beer back to the tasting room. There HAS to be a solution to such a small problem! Edited: Perhaps the problem could be solved by having food delivered to the tasting room by staff.
These guys/gals are producing some legit brews. Hair Raiser, Wandering Thoughts and The Cat's Meow can easily hang with the big boys of the craft beer world.
The people here are friendly and knowledgeable and the beer is outstanding. They always have something going on whether it's a food truck, trivia night, live music, etc. It's a great place to grab a few cans or hang out and have a flight or two.
The beer is great, the staff is amazing. There's a lot of hype around new england breweries and this one lives up to it. What ever your preference, they have a beerfl for you.
We like their beers so we went to enjoy their beer garden.. nice seating arrangement with shade.. wish they had those sprinkler system for really heated days. They have food trucks or pop ups coming there which you can see on their website as they have planned out for a month.. these pop ups are only available during weekend. They also have wine if you visit with a non beer person and they have ciders from the local lookout farm which I like. They practice social distancing so wear mask except when you are in the table and order from your phone with the table number assigned to you.Overall good experience and a good hangout place with friends and family.
My husband and I go here a lot. We really like the Kolsch style Goody Two Shoes beer. It's definitely worth a try. The tasting area is small but cozy. It's tucked away in a neighborhood so if you think you're lost, you're probably in the right area.
came in on a Saturday. the beer was amazing. but the two room was very uncomfortable to drink in. they had a children's dance thing going on and it was unpleasant experience and I hope not something they do often.
Their variation of beers is amazing. The sours are especially delicious. Most of the bartenders are nice, one is not so pleasant, but he is not always there!
Great Beer, Great Staff, Great Atmosphere. Took the family on a weekend trip, the tap room is cozy and very clean, service is amazing staff are just great, not pretentious and very accommodating. Even once it got busy and crowded it was still fun to be there. They have stuff for the kids and snacks as well despite not having a kitchen. The beer is all very good to great, well worth time. They even have "real" games to play, I was excited to find some games from my own collection on site, and just just an old scrabble box missing pieces or half of clue (Exploding Kittens, Archer Love Letters, Sushi Go, etc...), other activities for the kiddos too (coloring etc...). Will be a regular stop on my trips to MA! Keep it up
Good beer and a good place for drinks. No food except pre-made snacks and pretzels on the weekend. Definitely a great spot for "off-site" work meetings!
A small place, but great beers. And the owners are working hard to keep a running schedule of fun events, including local bands and pop-up food vendors.
Brewer Matt Steinberg has done it again. His world class beers are here and they are finally here to stay. He now has a long time brick and mortar brewery in the Boston area crafting amazing classic style beers. The IPA is outstanding. Soon to be as sought after as Trillium or Treehouse In my opinion. Another gold medal worthy porter. A kettle sour that's banging. Finally...a kick ass local kolsch!!!....go here now.
Clean, fresh beer. Welcoming open well lit atmosphere. We went on a night with a crew cooking food, a live singer on guitar, and they had the TV going in the background. Solis job by the E team.
Not only are the beers here really awesome, but the staff and the ambiance are fantastic too. Service was very quick, polite and very knowledgeable about their brews. I will be going there again very soon.
Hi! I just wanted to let the "I need a Venue" world know about Exhibit 'A' Brewing company! We had our daughters Bridal Shower there March 24th. I have NEVER been so impressed with the planning, communication and hands on doings from Mr Kelsey Roth. From the 1st email to the last broom being pushed for clean up, Kelsey was there from start to finish! We knew what was available, what was needed and when we got there, there was Kelsey ready and waiting! Between him and the Bartender (sorry, didn't catch the tall guys name in the hat), we didn't have one thing to worry about. Glasses were picked up when empty, tables and chairs were brought over when needed and never did I see a trash can that was full! (they were always being emptied)! At the end of the shower, Kelsey got right on clean up with us, he was so helpful! It was an absolute pleasure to work with him for the shower. I have 3 daughters and have planned my share of events for them and others, however, this was the BEST! Nothing but 5 (if I could give 10) stars for the entire staff at the brewery, Especially Kelsey! couldn't have done it without you!!!! Thanx so much again!!! Donna
Came here on a Friday night a week or two ago for the first time. Very chill and relaxed setting, with an acoustic guitarist playing in front of a screen playing old James Bond movies. They also had a pop up food vendor selling brats. The beer was excellent as well. Great atmosphere and beer will bring me back.
The beer here is spectacular. They have a nice smallish taproom, the old Jack's Abbey. As is the law in Mass, they fill only their own growlers, sell pints and have a nice selection of tall boy cans. Goody Two Shoes Kolsch, Hair Raiser DIPA and Cats a Meow are must try.
I like the style of the brewery, it s cozy. Although there isn t TOO much seating, i always find a seat. There are often food trucks, which is great. The Cat s Meow is my favorite of their beers. Wish it was a little easier to get to, but all breweries seem to be a little hidden these days.
I have been wanting to visit this place since I arrived at MA. Mainly because I am a lawyer and the main theme here is law (and beer)...what more can you ask for! The perfect combination! Their beer is delicious. These are my go-to beers when I've had a horrible day. They are so good, I forget about every bad thing that happened during the day. Their hops are delicious. The Cat's Meow and the Hair Raiser: awesome! Bartenders were very nice and explained the consistency of the beer so we could choose what we wanted and liked. The always have food trucks outside. I am definitely returning some day!
Creative beers with a nice range of tastes across their lineup. Staff is friendly and helpful and interested in what they do. A great place to spend a little while or the afternoon.
