Excel Orthopaedic Specialists Review

First time with excel, I have been having pain in butt hip and back of leg. Come to find out it really caused by my back. Dr. Tanden explained in detail , how this was happening. She tried some needling and suggested PT . I went to PT it was helping, it still very uncomfortable. So started PT twice a week with the doctors suggestion.
Dr. Tandem was pleasant and never in rush, she was very concerned about my pain.
Appointments were always in a timely manner.
Bottom line I truly felt she wanted me better.
2 months later, I am 80% less pain

The doctor is great. The staff goes either way, Some go above and beyond and others seem to never call you back or are ever at their desk such as billing and other departments. Check your messages

Everyone from the front desk staff, to the medical support staff, all the PT personnel, and all that work to make the practice provide quality care are dedicated to patient satisfaction. Dr. Feiler is an outstanding physician who is a very good listener, a clear communicator, and a top surgeon. She uses all available resources to make certain her patients receive the best care. She works tirelessly. She does not settle for less than than the best!

Ryan Caredon did a good job explaining what happened to my foot and showing me the results of my x-rays. The office was appropriately distanced and while there were a lot of patients in the office, they seemed to move quickly through the patients so the wait wasn't too long.

I really like this office but can't help but wonder about how few female doctors there are in the office . Only one out of a total of ten of the surgeons is a woman.

Step right up to the cattle line and make sure to have your insurance card ready.
Dr. Yay and his cortisone club will be ready to stick you as soon as you walk through the door.
Insted of actually listening to his patients, he prefers to let the cortisone do the talking.
Oh if you have an injury, you ll have to wait till the cortisone wears off so you can get another shot. After those two are done you are welcome to one more shot if Dr.Yay is still not listening to you after 2 months of visits. And his entire staff will tell you your crazy.

Dr. Feiler is very professional and reassuring and efficient. I credit her for relief from awful knee pain.
I owe her a big hug when the pandemic is over!

Sharp, savvy. An engineer, problem solver by training. You want an engineer to figure out how the parts are moving. Listens.

I had foot surgery in July of this year. Since the first day I started going to Excel it has been great! Dr.Mandel has been amazing! Even going to physical therapy has been great. Both Kim M. And Zach are amazing!! My injury has been intense and has been a process. Going to Excel has been great and everybody there is nice. Thank you for what you all do!

I had a shoulder replacement with Dr. Alessandro in 12/2017, and all of the care that preceded it and followed it also. Everything went smoothly and successfully. I could not have asked for better care, because I got the very best. I am back seeing Dr. Alessandro again as my other shoulder is acting up. I know that I will be cared for in a professional, respectful manner with cutting edge techniques as I was three years ago. He is the very best

Answered all my questions in a way that was easy to understand. A much better experience than seeing my previous shoulder specialist who was down the hall before I knew the visit was over.

Dr. Szolomayer was very quick to get me an appointment for my shoulder and gave me a thorough evaluation. She was quick, very kind, and explained my condition, as well as answered all of questions in a very thorough and non-condescending manner. Its very hard to find surgeons who treat their patients like human beings and dr. Szolomayer is one who has top class bedside manner and really showed that she cared about how I was feeling. I definitely would recommend her to any of my family or friends.

I broke my wrist a while back and had to go for Occupational Therapy. I saw a young lass by the name of Anna Stoebel. She was very professional and is a great occupational therapist to see if you broke your wrist bone and need OT. She is dedicated to helping others and is wicked nice. You won t regret seeing her

My two physical therapists are kind and helpful. Wouldn't want to go to anyone else. I'll miss them when I'm better.

LOVE Excel my Dr was brilliant, Staff wonderful! They fixed my missed diagnosed knee & Ankel injury!

I had a total knee replacement and I was scared. The pain in my knee was horrible. I couldn't walk, it gave out while walking and would swell up. I went and had shots for years, then they stopped working. I went to see Dr. Fehm and had the surgery and let me say how much better my new knee is. It is painful for a while , but every day it gets better. The Dr. will help with the pain. It didn't last long. As a huge chicken let me say Dr. Fehm and his staff are wonderful. They are there every step of the way. Don't wait, I'm sorry I waited. It is about a month now since the surgery and my new knee feels great. Check into it, you won't be sorry you did. There is no reason to hurt every day.

I went to Excel seeking a physiatrist consultation for lingering complications from a sports injury that didn't fully resolve. Dr. Tanden did a thorough exam and patient history before ordering imaging, which revealed a herniated disc that other providers whom I saw had overlooked and not suspected, as well as a mild hip impingement that I'm glad we caught early! I was impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved, and the speed with which the imaging was done. Dr. Tanden also did something that I really appreciated: she asked me how I felt about doing imaging, and what course of action I wanted to take once the imaging was done and the problems were revealed. A lot of providers don't do this, and it made the doctor-patient relationship feel like a team effort, which I think is healthy and heartening.

I can't speak to Excel's surgeons or physical therapists, but if you've got a sports injury and you're seeking a solid examination from a physiatrist, I recommend Dr. Tanden!

I had reverse shoulder surgery on Aug 11th . I had my last PT session today, Dec7. Lauren Doherty and Erin Barrett we re my physical therapists. They were both not only professional but also very personable. Their encouragement helped me to persist with my home exercises. I didn t want to disappoint them by not progressing as best I was able. I can t say I enjoyed my exercises but always left my PT sessions buoyed and hopeful for a full recovery which I anticipate over the next few months. So glad I lucked out with Lauren and Erin

Took son there for what had been diagnosed as a broken toe. Doc and staff were very helpful and got us on a treatment course right away. If need follow up, will definitely come back to Excel!

Dr. Hurst reconstructed my elbow a few years ago. When my teen daughter fell hard rollerblading, he's the only one I trusted to look at her arm. Never disappointed!

Open till recently I ve had nothing but a good experience I was supposed to go to an appointment and be reevaluated it was the only time I could go get the company decided to cancel my appointment if not give me a viable option in favor of somebody else it would not be bad if I had only made the appointmentA couple days ago when I made this appointment almost 2 weeks ago I find this unacceptable and quite insulting that My time is unimportant to them in conclusion I m not sure if I d recommend this service to everybody in fact I probably would not recommend it to most people unless they have time to kill because people continue to cancel appointments

Best doctor I feel like I've seen in a long while (though specialists usually do feel more effective than general care). He listened to my concerns, was knowledgeable and friendly, and was willing to tailor care to his patient's experience. The office was clean and efficient, I was very impressed overall. Definitely makes coping with an injury much easier when you have full confidence in your medical team.

Dr. Taylor Horst has been my doctor for the last couple of years. He has operated on me twice for two separate issues. He is always attentive to me when I am explaining what is wrong. He explains tests results (X-rays, MRI etc.) in a manner that is easy to understand and he always has time for any questions. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

Been working with Michael Spenard and Excel for almost 10 years they are great and Mike is the best. Wouldn t go anywhere else

Dr. Czarnecki was very professional and knowledgeable. We were looking for guidance on a shoulder injury incurred by my daughter. He took the time to explain the injury and what was happening with the shoulder. He explained the options and made sure we understood everything he was referring to. He did not rush at all and made sure all of our questions were answered. Overall, my daughter felt very comfortable with him and we were very happy with this appointment.

Very good bedside manner. Takes the time to listen and doesn't make you feel rushed.

Michael Stempeck always takes his time to get to know you and offers options for treatment. I highly recommend him.

Had right shoulder arthroscopic surgery a few years ago by Dr Czarnecki with excellent experience. Now seeing him for left shoulder issue... is diagnosis, explanation, and presentation of choices in treatment is impeccable and succinct. An excellent soctor and surgeon.

I have been coming to Excel for a while and my experience has always been wonderful.The people that take care of you when you register are so accommodating. My visit with Mike Spenard was great. Discussed my problem, answered all my questions, made suggestions and finally did what was right for me.

Dr. Feiler is great doctor. She has replaced my left knee and repaired a major rotator cuff tear in my left shoulder. I have all the confidence in the world in Dr. Feiler.

I was very impressed by both the efficiency of Excel Orthopedics and Dr. Alessandro. I was able to make an appoint immediately. Dr. Alessandero immediately diagnosis my problem and recommended minimum treatment rather than recommending more intensive treatments.

Excel Orthopaedics is the best. I have dealt with several doctors, physical therapists and members of the staff here. They are all top notch and extremely professional and helpful. This place is run so smoothly. Dr. Michael Fehm is not only the best surgeon -- his beside manner is terrific. He is a kind, compassionate and one of the smartest doctors I have ever dealt with.
