DO NOT BUY THESE POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS! FAIR WARNING! We have a $3500 mower under warranty that Hustler refuses to warranty. They've kept our mower over a month. The deck came apart and part of it ran through the mower blade shooting out the grass exhaust in a mangled heap of steel. Someone could have been badly hurt.

The repair guy said he couldn't tell if a weld broke or not so he sent photos to Hustler who said it was not a warranty issue and that we had misused the mower. Strangely, my husband was cutting on an open field with no obstructions whatsoever.

We can't find a number to call. We are about to get our attorney. We even bought an extended warranty like idiots! The mower is a year old.

I have a mini fast track. The internal speed control failed in the first year. After repair was completed it failed again two years later.I was offered a new engine for $800.00 and free labor and a two year warranty.I really believe I should get a new engine because the speed control they worked actually came apart inside the engine and ruined the engine.

It should ve went with guidelines and just shut down for another two weeks. People are getting sick often and it s scary how none of it is taken seriously. Bless this place in Hesston as it s numbers are only getting scarier.

Mediocre job depending on where you worked at within the company. There are various reasons that its only 3 star rating. The insurance was pretty good(Blue Cross Blue Shield), depending upon the supervisor or opex the days would either drag by or fly by. Fortunately, for me I had supervisor and opex that would make the days fly by.

One star because zero stars isn't possible. Customer service is abysmal, as are the quality of their Hustler mowers. I've had my mower for less than a year, with less than 12 hours on the mower, and the steering has already broken under light use. In my case, it's a dampener (small hydraulic piston) that attaches with ONE easily accessible bolt. The head/clevis on this dampener is made of PLASTIC with an aluminum insert, NO WONDER it stripped out so easily.

I called customer service, got the runaround and was told to contact a local dealer. Contacted local dealers who said that they don't work on mowers they didn't sell....I bought mine at Lowe's, who doesn't do warranty work....GO FIGURE. I call back to Excel, and they tell me that 1) I'm now in a catch-22 because I can't get the part unless I take it to a dealer to get it fixed, but I can't get it fixed unless I bought it from THAT dealer and 2) I can't get the part directly from them, it has to be taken to my dealer.....CIRCLE BACK TO REASON NUMBER ONE. Unbelievable.

Besides being competent enough to replace a part with one bolt, I made it clear to them that 1) Taking in a mower to get one cheap part replaced means I lose more (in wages) than I gain (by letting them waste my time) and 2) The other driving force behind not getting out is my dad (whom we help and live next door) has advanced lung cancer and we can't take the chance of him getting this stupid virus. Their response? No effs given, take it or leave it. It's almost like their "warranty" was designed to be this way. DO NOT BUY ANY EQUIPMENT THIS COMPANY MAKES.
