A very pleasant place to have a picnic, play frisbee, walk a dog, or sit outside and talk with friends/family---all of what was going on when I stopped here to enjoy a spontaneous mountain trip.

We ve been coming here for years. Was just settling in this time. Jerk ranger in a boat comes and rudely tells us HE doesn t want us in the water. We asked just swimming or walking. He again said I do not want anyone in the water . Not very polite or explaining why. It has never been an issue. Literally 5min later another lady comes by foot to tell us to take down our umbrella (which is for our baby). I get it if it has always been a policy which is now being reinforced, but don t be an authoritative jerk!!! The lady was much nicer. Guess we ll be finding a new place where our 4yr old can put his feet in the water. Sad!
Beautiful park, but the Nazi park rangers kicked out a photographer for not having a photography license ($25). He was not hurting anybody and was in no way a nuisance. Plus, is costs $8 to launch a paddle board! I guess that your taxes aren't enough...
This lake has a good trail to walk around it. There were many people fishing and canoeing on the lake. It also has great views!
Wonderful. The ladies Heather and Dina are VERY knowledgeable. Very nice . They make it worth going to. Thanks ladies.
