Katie came highly recommended from our venue, so we didn t hesitate to hire her for our day-of-coordinator.

My family and I seriously cannot say enough good things about The Event Design Co.. We met multiple times leading up to the wedding, making sure all of the details were covered.
She was always early, quick with communication, extremely organized, down-to-earth and a true professional from start to finish. Katie s warm personality set me at ease as she took away all of the pressure, especially on the big day. No detail was too small!
(I still have the texts she sent me on my wedding day again, so thoughtful!)
Her pricing is on point and very affordable.

Where do I begin!?! Katie was the day of coordinator for my best friend's ceremony in July 2017. After having met her at this wedding I knew I had to have her coordinate my day! And this was by far the best decision I made. Katie was SO helpful throughout the entire process. She made sure every DIY aspect of our day was executed exactly how I dreamed it to be. She went above and beyond "month of coordination". Throughout our chats, emails and meetings leading up to the day, to the day itself. Katie made the process so painless. Our wedding day was an absolute dream and stress free, and I have Katie to thank for that!!!!!

Katie is the most organized and kind hearted person I have ever worked with; she is truly amazing at what she does because she puts her whole self into her event planning which you can tell is her passion! I would highly recommend Katie and her team: they are very reliable, hard working, and make the day run smoothly.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I've worked with Katie several times on a number of weddings and she is without a doubt the best of the best. She's passionate, efficient, professional and knows all the ins and outs of the industry. She delivers the best service to her clients and vendors. I couldn't recommend her more. This review is long overdue, but better late than never!! From the moment I met Katie, I knew she was going to help make my wedding day special. Katie is extremely professional, creative, detail oriented and has a way of making you feel calm when stress levels start to rise. Katie and I worked closely together to plan my dream wedding and when the day finally came I could not have been more confident in her abilities and trusted her to ensure the day ran as smooth as possible, which it did! She s also one of the kindest people I ve ever met. I cannot say enough good things about Katie and her team. We have worked on many weddings with Katie and her team and recommend them to all of our couples who book with us. We've worked with a lot of wedding planners and coordinators and can assure you that you will not be disappointed if you choose Katie! Not only have all of my couples talked about how great she is from their side but from a vendor perspective, and as photographers, she exceeds all expectations and makes the experience for us run very smoothly. She does this by making sure we have a tailored and specific schedule in advance and connects with us prior to the wedding to check in and see what we need from her as well as anything else we need in order to do our job efficiently. She doesn't just stop there, on the day she makes sure all the vendors are where they need to be at the right time, communicates with us constantly throughout the day and if any issues arise you can go straight to her and know that she will deal with it without bothering the clients. Katie is experienced, calm (so important during the wedding day) and very, very efficient. I truly cannot recommend Katie enough, she will make sure your day runs as smoothly and as stress free as possible.

Katie was our day of coordinator 3 years ago and she was a true lifesaver. Her calm, professional and friendly personality as well as her attention to detail made our day completely stress free. We still have people talking about it and it was all thanks to her and her team.

Choosing Katie & Event Design Co. as our planner was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Katie is organized, responsive, flexible and an amazing human. Even though we hired Katie only for our month-of planning, she was available to answer questions and helped us with vendor referrals in the months leading up to our wedding. Our rehearsal helped us, our parents and bridal party know exactly what to expect on the day-of and put us at ease. Katie managed all communication for the day-of directly with our vendors. We were able to truly enjoy our wedding because the team at Event Design Co. was behind the scenes, executing the entire event perfectly!
