Dr. Florentino is not only highly qualified, and expertly trained, she also will take the time needed to deal with issues that arise in healthcare and need attention. She is a physician who is highly trained but also cares about the well being of her patients. She is highly recommended by our family as she has successfully treated a variety of issues and is also extremely pro-active in preventative medicine and in treating the whole patient.

My family and I have used Evans Dermatology for a couple of years. Previously, the exams have been incredibly thorough, though yes, we have had to wait. We didn't mind due to the quality of care; everyone was kind and really attentive to details. This time, the wait was a bit shorter, but the annual exam and removal of a small mole (benign--no one called; I got a message from UH online) was less than 8 minutes! The lidocaine didn't even have a chance to take effect (but believe me, the pain was pretty minor compared to other things I've gone through). My feet were not examined, nor were some other areas, including one which had a more serious lesion last year, plus a small, painful cyst. It was like they couldn't wait to get me out, politely; let me stress that everyone was courteous. So, I'm recovering from cancer (not skin related and not contagious) and have thin hair--did I scare them, or were they afraid I scared other patients? I felt a bit like a leper. All they examined were my scalp, arms, back, and legs. It was a strange experience. I may go to someone at the teaching hospital where I receive cancer care for my next annual. Is being linked to UH changing how they manage things? It was simply bizarre.

Dont waste your time or money with this office if you have a legitimate dermatologic issue. Maybe this office is better with cosmetic procedures? I've spent close to $700 to still have to find treatment elsewhere.

I had an emergent situation and needed to see a dermatologist quick. I was referred to another office by my insurance that didnt have availabilities until February. I found this office. I read some reviews and was nervous about my visit. I was so pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and knowledge of the physicians. Im grateful for this diamond in the rough.

We were referred here due to my baby having a rash. I don't feel like he got a full examine and we were told it looked like flea bites. I called 2 different pest control companies trying to find out what was biting my baby. Turns out we didn't have any bugs. The rash was getting worse by the day. I finally found another dermatologist in SC and we found out my son had a staph infection. I feel like if he was examined fully maybe we could have resolved this a week ago.

Appointment at 3:50 pm, arrived 8 to 10 minutes late. All paperwork pre-filled. Waited for 1 hour, then left. No other patients waiting for 45 minutes. Poor communication, would have rescheduled; not returning.
