We had our wedding reception here at Ettington Chase Hotel, the staff were amazing, ensuring our guests needs were met, those that stayed the weekend at the hotel also those that came for our special day. The wedding menu was superb, delicious and delivered hot to each guest. Jenna, our wedding planner, was attentive, ensuring that our day went as smoothly as possible... and it did
Thank you all so much for your hard work in the run up to the day and on the actual day, we've had so much positive feedback from our guests, many of whom are planning weekends away to Ettington Chase Hotel .
Whilst we're looking forward to our first anniversary visit with you next year. Thank you all so much ... keep up the good work

Food and bar were issue. As a vegetarian I had the tofish which was described as tofu wrapped in nori (which would have flavoured the tofu). It was served as just two slabs of flavourless tofu about 1" x 3". Basically like eating 2 lumps of deep fried blancmange. Cooked breakfast option at the buffet for vegetarians was egg & tomato. Extremely limited alcohol free beer option at bar - just 1 brand, the one that most people dislike according to reviews!

Stayed over in the festive period and thought the staff really went above and beyond to make my stay superb. The main house (with its big bedrooms!) and grounds really are lovely, and the pool was surprisingly big!

I was transferred here with work colleagues for one night from another Mercure hotel Walton Hall, as they had a wedding and needed our rooms. Very basic but family sizeroom with disabled facilities, so I'm guessing their other rooms are better. Glad to go back to Walton Hall.

A very good hotel with a great swimming pool.

A very good hotel with a great swimming pool.
Staff have all been friendly and helpful and the resteraunt served good food.
The only downside is it was a cold night when we stopped, the bedroom felt cold due to the heating only being on between 4pm and 9pm.

OK it was a bit chaotic but our stay was enjoyable. Nowhere near to plug to plug the (very slow) kettle in. Asked for a heater but given a fan, then the fan was faulty. Casual place lots of men in shorts and tracksuits. Relaxed. Card to get in rooms worked! Bath smallest I've ever encountered. Don't go to the restaurant. This was late April and they were serving the autumn winter menu. Food greasy. Breakfast buffet not bad. Lots of choice except things to put on toast 4 jams and marmalade but no cheese, peanut butter or marmite. Quick easy drinks machine and very good vegetarian sausages on request. Staff all dressed smartly and hotel was listed as gay friendly. Tom was especially nice and helpful. I think there should be more lights in the drive there are lots of potholes which can be hazardous if you are walking at night. Nice place.

Lovely Victorian house, with 80s style inside. Pretty clean. Small gym, but at least it's there. A swimming pool is a plus, but chlorine odor was way too much. Very tasty meals, both lunch and dinner card. Lunch was decent, basic English breakfast. Staff was helpful. Green pastures around making surrounding cosy

Lovely evening meal. Over priced drinks as always in hotels.
Its supposed to be a 4 star hotel.
Our double room was very dark & need over a makeover.
Restaurant was very dimly lit also.
A lot of areas need redecorating.
The swimming pool in need of a refurbish. But nice & warm.
All in all 2 star +
