I am a genuine purchaser, they are friendly on the phone but that's about it, no invoice, delivery 2 weeks after payment, you were out of stock but that's your fault, didn't send me a tracking number I had to call you for it and 4 email I sent didn't get a reply... ended up been hard work buying from you.. would not use again.
I'm surprised to read some of these reviews as I've never had anything but excellent service from this company. I have now completed my third renovation and each time have ordered all the electrics from ETC. They are communicative, helpful on the phone when I've had queries and offer really competitive prices with great delivery options. Would highly recommend.
I was anxious after reading some other reviews, but after placing two large orders for 30+ fittings, not had any issues. Products arrived well packed and in great condition.

They send out faulty lights switches then refuse to refund or exchange. I'll get a replacement from somewhere else. Terrible customer service.
I ordered a part online from ETC but i ordered the wrong item due to not reading the code correctly. As soon as I realised what i had done i called them and they sorted it out immediately without any fuss and the correct part is on its way... much appreciated ETC

So added items to the basket to then get an email saying part of your order is out of stock even though the website let me add them and pay! ETC need to let there customers know before paying that if items are in stock or out of stock because there s no point receiving an email after you ve made the purchase
A terrible experience. Ordered three Crabtree Platinum sockets. One of them had clearly been opened, used and returned by another Customer. When challenged, the owner of ETC flatly denied that the goods could possibly have been used, despite clear evidence to the contrary (terminal screws chewed, others ratting around in package). I then had to send the goods back at my own expense, whereupon he had the gall to refuse to refund the cost of carriage BOTH WAYS! A massive waste of my time and money. AVOID at all costs!!
