Although It is a fancy property having an attractive location, the staff isn't hospitable.
The rules of this resort are beyond understanding & the staff hardly cares to provide any assistance.
They don't allow guests into your room, even your own family or parents, for even a second.

The Wooden Cottages are very beautiful!! Beach is very close by and the walkway is also clean and beautiful. I wish it was a Pure Vegetarian restaurant though!!
Very Best Resort they have there personal space for beach. Very good rooms and rooms service's. They have there own mini club.
Estrela Do Mar is very close to the sea. Started in 1979 with a vision to revisit country s long celebrated hospitality in the heart of the city, North Goa, Calangute and now setting new benchmarks in serving the best engulfed with comfort. Here Check your rooms carefully some of the room's having leakage problems. Location wise this one is the nice Resort.
Actual a beach touch property, so in love with location, all you can eat play and enjoy, nice roooms and restaurant of hotel is good also.

Wanted to give feedback from a long time post our visit at October 2020.
We had a thing about Estrela Do Mar from our last visit on August 2015, when we really liked the place.
We were very disappointed. The place was no longer as per our expectation.
Find below the reasons for our dislike.
1) We had booked for two cottages at least 1 month in advance. When we reached they said cottages are not available as they were under maintenance. My question was why they allowed us to book on the first place or why we didn t receive any call from them and received a prior notification on same.
2) We checked in and found the rooms started stinking the moment we switched on AC and the bathroom had pan/ gutkha spit marks (check the pics posted).
3) We complained and were allotted new rooms next day which was on the first floor with railings without any protection. We had our son along and it was really unsafe but it seems there were none other alternatives.
4) At night all of a sudden one room was flooded with hot water as it seems the hot water pipe in the next room was broken and once someone opened the hot water tap water started leaking and entered our room bypassing the common wall between the two rooms.
5) The tables were dirty in the corridors near our rooms and most of the dustbins outside were never cleaned (check the pics). Very unhygienic.
6) After the lockdown we wanted to have a good time and our stay at Estrela Do Mar was a total disaster even after paying at hefty 66000/- approx.
Decent place. Opt for cottages, club room and executive room only. Buffet Breakfast is available but standards are poor. Food quality is okay but the taste is sub-par. It's very far away place to the main road. You'll get vehicles for rent, bargain if you can. Don't opt for standard rooms as they are pathetic ambience on the way and the rooms. Club room is big and nice. Tito's lane is closer which is a good tourist attraction. You have a path easy to the beach, it's a good walk way to go around
A quality place but not worth for that price.
Food was very good. Buffet not many choices.
There is no private beach , it's just a thought way to connect to beach thats it.
We took 2 deluxe rooms.one was not ready when we reached so took standard room which is not for the price we paid.
There was no water bottle given in the first day.
There was not bathroom mat given unless we called and reminded.
We didn't get the cottage rooms we see online. Totally not worth it.
They are following safety precautions but room service guys wear shoes and come inside everyone.
