I really like it very much, since I live in the province of PV and go to Via Ripamonti to do the shopping. Obviously Milan Esselunga forever.!

Esselunga is in my opinion the best food supermarket in northern Italy for the quality and variety of the products. Until a few years ago I would have said that it also had low prices compared to quality, currently it has faded, prices have risen significantly and the quality has lost its maximum splendor. It is however a top chain. The shop in Via Ripamonti is very large and well organized.

At the opening, one of the most assorted venues in the city, very clean, with no odors whatsoever and with a choice that, besides rewarding the vastness of the offer, had a very high quality level.
It is a pity that now it is no longer so, probably the volumes, the size and I do not know what else (the area?) Played a role that today makes me see this unattractive space, no longer clean, quality of the offer in particular fish and little appreciated meat. Some cuts of meat are no longer offered, while they are found in other locations.
Much better off Lausanne, Solari or Washington.
