The service is cheeky and there is a "alternative" atmosphere, which seems very imposed. Has nothing to do with the authentic Berlin nightlife.

This bar is tucked into an alley way hidden amongst the bustling streets of Berlin. In between artisan shops, ice cream stalls and a coffee shop. Good beer, great spot, even better people. They're all so welcoming and friendly. Strike up a conversation with anyone! And even go see the underground show!

The girls at the counter are nice, but you have the feeling that they are deliberately flirty and revealing for tips. I thought that was a bit cheap even as a guy. Drinks were nice. The conversational tone is brisk, but that's the way it is in Berlin. Would come back.

A very cool hidden gem! Hidden down an alley way in Berlin Eschschloraque is an awesome secluded bar for anyone looking for something a little less touristy and a but more local. From the moment you walk in you feel like you've stepped back in time to a setting from the 1980's. Well worth a visit!

Fantastic vibes. It's really good place for beer or a drink. All those graffiti create great atmosphere. Prices for a centrum are fine. Perfect spot for hanging out with friends. This place have a soul, a very weird soul. Plenty of small details crest this place. Service is nice, girl was all the time smiling. She was also fast in bringing drinks. For sure I want to come back here,so I'm adding this place to my list of cool places in Berlin.

Cool location in the back yard at Hackescher Markt. The drink prices are not cheap according to the location, but also not too expensive. You can sit comfortably with friends outside as well as inside. Groups of tourists often came by. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they like it. It didn't bother me. The waitress was very nice and overall I enjoyed it there.

Not a bad place to grab a beer.. one of the few gritty places around Mitte but it is a smoking bar and the ventilation is not good.

An institution in the Hackescher Markt area. The music / club / lounge / bar is one of the last of its kind in the thoroughly center of Berlin. Go and support the store. Admission and drink prices are reasonable. Only clothing superstores and tourist feeding stations as in all the major cities of the world, exchangeable and increasingly boring.

Eastern Berlin bohemic entering from graffiti/street art packed garden, where you can also sit. DJ and bar inside. Entrance fee through donation.

Perfect for those looking for an "alternative" venue in Berlin! The decoration is quite atypical. You can choose according to the weather the indoor bar or the summer bar outside (be careful the map is much less provided!). The friendliness of the servers is at the head of the customer. For the price, the card is in the price range Berlin, so quite affordable.

Very nice hidden bar in a kind of industrial backyard of Hackescher Markt. A nice choice for drinks. Smoking is allowed.

You have to see it because there aren't many places like this. Next to it is a small but very moving museum of a little girl who died tragically. Such a moment of reflection on the city and life that has gone forever.

Good to have a drink. You can smoke inside, so you will come out smelling of an ashtray.

Great bar tucked away in a lovely back yard. Nevertheless, it attracts many tourists. The beer prices are okay, the cocktails and high-proof alcohol are unfortunately very expensive. That's probably because of the location. The staff is very friendly.

A waitress from the restaurant where we had dinner recommended to visit this place. Upon arriving there was no tail, and there were a lot of people inside. As we approached to enter a very unpleasant girl, and with few manners, she told us not to let us in, and she did not want to give us any explanation. The right of admission to barcelona is regulated with criteria that we may like more or less. There are no criteria in this place. Classical locals like this should be controlled by the state. In 2019 it is not logical that you tell me that I do not go and they will leave behind for reasons that I will not value because I do not want to become like the girl at the entrance. I hope that one day matures and draws up some clear criteria. You are nailed to another era.
