We used gentle giant to move interstate. Right from Peter who attended my initial phone call, everyone involved in the process were super professional, swift and very accommodating. The whole process was hassle free and quick! Dennis and his crew did a great job of packing, moving and unloading! 5 stars to each person involved in the process & I will surely consider gentle giant for future needs!!

I cannot say how pleased I am with these movers. Prior to the move after speaking to other companies, I was about to get some friends together for my 90 yr old grandmothers move. The salesman Peter was a breathe of fresh air and answered all my questions and made me feel at ease hiring his company. He sent me everything in writing, and confirmed the professionalism I received on the phone. On the day of Chris arrived with Mike and Eric and got to work. The guys were in matching uniforms, respectful, friendly, and worked fast, but carefully, wrapping and protecting everything skillfully. There were no damages, and a happy Grandma who hadn't moved in 40 years. They will not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and they are worth every penny.
The team that came to help my wife and I move were fantastic. 5 people showed up and they were extremely professional. They surveyed the house with my wife and I and fully understood what need to be done. They then set out and packed up our house in an extremely efficient and logical way which then paid dividends when unpacking because everything was in order. These guys busted their butts but also had fun while doing it which made the whole experience terrific. I would recommend Gentle Giant anytime and for anyone. They are 1st rate and 1st class.
Highly professional, punctual, helpful team---- I had a complex move of furniture from a condo to my own moving truck and these guys did an amazing job of wrapping, moving and securing everything.... no hesitation in hiring again.... Communication was also top-notch prior to the move which is rare in the moving business.
The worst moving company in Rhode Island. Sure, they are fast but they are too fast and they broke a number of things and they put things back together incorrectly.
Then they have the audacity to state that it's my problem and I should deal with it. I did and I got myself a lawyer. They refunded me the amount I paid and compensated me for some of the items damaged. It took months but it was worth the wait. I am now "blacklisted" with them.
Avoid at all costs. They hire ex-cons and people who look "threatening".
All six were ery hardworking men, who put their thoughtful heads together to move efficiently. It was not an easy move, involved working with a crane, removing window frames and lowering heavy antiques, which would not go down the stairs, down three flights safely. Nothing was broken or scratched. Would definitely recommend them. You get an hour's value and they do just charge for the hours, as stated.

Our special thanks to Dennis Moore who was there on both days (packing day and moving day) and kept track of so many little things to make the move easier on us. The way he made sure things were packed made unpacking and settling in so much easier. Seriously, that has NEVER happened before.
On moving day, Riley Chapman and Dennis Moore made sure everything went very smoothly. No damage to either property or to any of our goods. Riley and Dennis, while walking past with boxes, would smile at us and ask how WE were doing. Can you imagine that!
Communication with the office was great too, from Elizabeth to Dominic to Amandalyn. They were the most responsive office team of any movers we have worked with.
And the final bill came in within budget.
These are just nice people, doing a great job. We need more businesses like this one.

Awesome company! I was on a very tight timeline and GG had me packed and moved in over the course of two days; the actual move took less than 12 hours. Mantas, John, and Tyler were all very professional and treated my goods with utmost care. I am a military spouse and have moved eight times over the last eighteen years. This was by far, the easiest move I have experienced.

I needed help unloading a UPack storage unit into a rental truck. Green Giant was very helpful on the phone, and accomodating on schedule. The team they assigned got delayed at the previous job, but a second team was assigned and arrived in the middle of the window time. Great guys, quick and efficient.

Super professional and efficient. The Giants were friendly, non-judgmental, and bent over backwards to provide the best service possible. Two experienced movers came on both days, along with a less experienced mover (not in a bad way), and their style of on-the-job training was very constructive. They were very careful with all of my possessions. Everyone I've interacted with on the phone was friendly and helpful, and looking to offer me the best service possible. The best experience I could have asked for during a pandemic. The guys were on time and went above and beyond to get us moved quickly and safely. They dealt with the stress and frustrations of a cramped downtown loading dock and elevator with grace. Nothing was broken during the move. An item was left behind on the truck and their office called me to get the mailing address to send it to me. This was my second out-of-state move with Gentle Giant. I highly recommend them.
This was the second time that we used Gentle Giant to move our office space. We were pleased once again for the experience that we received. Both times they moved us in less time that was quoted and saved us money both times. Their staff is very friendly and truly care about the service they are giving you. They make sure your items are protected during the move and make every effort to place your items exactly where you want them. They even do a walk through at the end to make sure you are happy with everything is and to make sure they have moved everything that has been requested. During this move we had Jeffrey Eiland, Casey Dolan and Cory Ruzzo. They were very professional and truly worked their hardest to get everything moved in a timely manner.We were supposed to have 4 men but they finished up a job before us early so they were able to come to use site early. Despite being short one guy they finished the job early and saved the company money. I would recommend Gentle Giant to anyone and would definitely use them again in the future.

Frantz came and did the estimate and was able to project within 5 boxes how many we would need to pack our home. The support team kept us apprised of how everything would work and arrival was exactly as we were told.
The "Giants" were friendly as always. They work pretty much non stop and keep their sense of humor through it all, in short , just a great bunch of guys. Everything was protected perfectly , arrived without a scratch and careful attention was given to be sure that everything was placed exactly how we wanted it.

I have used Gentle Giant several times in the past few years and they never disappoint! They are helpful and flexible with scheduling, we needed additional time and they were able to send the same crew back the next day so we could quickly finish the job. Having different groups come out on different occasions showed that the work ethic and attention to detail is something GG values and does not overlook when training/hiring. Will not go anywhere else!!
We've now used Gentle Giant for two moves and cannot recommend them highly enough. The booking process is professional and thorough, and all costs are highlighted upfront. The movers themselves are excellent - they are all extremely friendly, courteous, and careful. None of our items were damaged in transit (including red wine glasses that I wrapped very poorly!), and we appreciated how they were willing to go the extra mile to make sure every box/item was in exactly the place we wanted it. Both times the teams have been extremely efficient and worked hard to finish the move so that we fell on the lower end of the estimated time budget - no wasted time idling or taking breaks. We tell everyone who is moving to use Gentle Giant - they're the best!

What can I add to all the positive reviews Gentle Giant has received, except to say that they are all true.
The booking process with their Moving Consultants could not have been easier, nor could they have been any more accommodating. I had an early morning closing on my house and Carmen was able to get me on the schedule for that afternoon. The movers were of course right on time, and when there was an issue with the 3rd member of the crew, GG arranged for another 2-man crew to join in the move and I was moved in and ready to sleep in my new home in no time at all.
So go ahead, take a look at the other moving services out there, but if you want a hassle free, smooth move... look no further.
