Ernst & Young, Darwin, Australia (later: Merit Partners) Review

We had been with another Real Estate Agent and for the first year they had performed satisfactorily. Unfortunately, since the tenant had decided to stay on at our property for four years, we felt beholden to stay with the same agents. This was despite the fact that the next three years, of them managing our property, was marked by numerous errors, the complete lack of professionalism and poor communication. By the end of the four years, when the tenant had to move on, we were literally at our wits end with the agency.

So while we were initially surprised, Colliers Business Development Manager, Deborah Bear could not have contacted us at a better time. Debbie s intervention was so timely! She understood our frustrations, as landlords, and why we had been increasingly disappointed and dissatisfied with the previous agency. Debbie kept in touch with us regularly, answered all our questions and guided us seamlessly through transitioning to Colliers International Darwin. She then introduced us to Leanne and Elisa.

My husband and I are very impressed by the courtesy and professionalism displayed by all three of these lovely ladies! We definitely feel welcomed into the Colliers Family!

In spite of the condition of the current market, Elisa found us a tenant in record time. The previous agency may want to gloat over the fact that our previous tenant was paying us a substantially higher rent. However, the previous agency had no part in getting us the rent as INPEX HR set the rent amount for us. With Colliers, and upon discussion with Elisa, we have dropped the rent to match the market. So saying, we would rather get a lower rent from a dependable tenant and have a professional Real Estate Agency like Colliers manage our property any day!

We would highly recommend Colliers International Darwin, if you are looking for professionalism from a Real Estate Agency. You won t regret moving to them!!!

In the past I have had many Real Estate Agents that have lacked pro-activeness and professionalism however, the last 2 years spent with Collier's International Darwin was fantastic. Our Agent was Elisa Lay and she was absolutely wonderful.

I prefer to communicate via Email with my correspondences and only make phone calls for Emergencies however, with Elisa she was always quick to respond to all Emails as well as Phone calls on both Weekends and Weekdays (nights included) and even if its a missed call, she will always get back to you in a fast and timely manner.

If you're looking for a great RE Agency to go with, there is nobody better than Colliers International Darwin. So far the best experience I've had while renting.

Very worse experince with colliers internation NT. Lady (agent)had very bad communication with the owner and was deciding and managing issues by herself due to which owner didnt knew any what had happen and didnt gave a single penny from my security bond.
I suggess not to go with this team.

I have been with the company for the last few years. When it comes to property management, I cannot rate Lyndsey and the team at Colliers highly enough.

My wife and I were disappointed by the mistakes made by our previous Real Estate Agent. I am a builder and I was shocked by the lack of professionalism displayed by that agency. Had we checked out the reviews on that agency we would have realised that we are not the only landlords affected by their inefficiency. In fact both landlords and tenants have posted negative reviews!

Oddly enough we had never thought of moving to Colliers International Darwin and as such had not checked their reviews. Once again had we checked these reviews earlier we would have moved over to them years ago! So saying, we are thankful to Debbie for contacting us and now our property is being managed by Elisa Lay.

I rented a flat for 6 months through Colliers in Darwin. I found the agency to be prompt, efficient and professional when handling maintenance items and general issues/queries.
