An atmosphere and experience like no other! Stayed a night in the attic of the lodge. Hit the Drumlin after an excellent dinner. Staff & accommodations were phenomenal. Course is very, very challenging yet rewarding. New level of respect for JT's 63 from the tips. If you have the opportunity to go, seize it!

Nice

This was back in 2015, way before the '17 open. It was a wonderful experience. A wide open course that can be punishing when one misses their shots. Challenging terrain, tall grasses, difficult pin placements. Listen to your caddies. They will make your time spent all the more enjoyable.

This course is the real deal. Fantastic layout, incredible conditions and wonderful caddies. The clubhouse and facilities are world class. I have traveled all over and played at many amazing clubs and Erin Hills is in the top 1%. I would tell you that it is a tough test of your skills and a long walk.

A slice of Wisconsin farmland turned into golfing megaplex. It feels larger than life bc the 7800yd+ is larger than life, walking only ads insult to injury. If you love golf, watch the final round of the 2017 US Open (or JT s 63) then play Erin Hills, you won t be disappointed

Played in mid October two rounds and admittedly it was cold and windy--so conditions were challenging. To a man we felt the course was overrated and too tough. Green complexes were unfair in many cases with difficult pin positions that were unable to hold quality shots. We played shorter tees with several single digit golfers and despite that we all struggled. Perhaps that is a measure for some who like a challenge but no one likes to struggle all day. Disappointing golf design compared to many places we have visited around the state and world.

The property is great, though, and the staff very friendly and accommodations were some of the best we have been in. We liked the lighted par 3 as well. Probably worth your visit sometime but at least for us the golf wasn't what we hoped.

Fantastic design,Course will be a great US Open venue. Some say too difficult and a tough walk I totally disagree.I found the course to be very playable,I also made my first Albatross on 14 ! Caddies are also 1st class.

Absolute bucket list golf destination for any serious golfer, but you have to include a night s stay. There is a mini course you get to try before next s days golf outing and an awesome 18-hole putting green that stays open late with beverage service that is exquisite.

Amazing course that's challenging but fair if you play the right tees. Breathtaking views, amazing food and great customer service. Caddie program is full of knowledgeable professionals that make the whole experience amazing.

Trip of dreams! The course is everything you will imagine, if you've never played getting a caddie is a must! Show up more than an hour before to check stuff out take pictures and warm up. Caddies we had were good! Service on course left a little to be desired, and one of my guys lost a head cover of mine still hasnt been found, really hope they find it. Restaurants are great foods great and service is good! Recommend to go!

The room was disappointing. It was very small and did not have a place to sit down except for the bed or the toilet. The TV was mounted in a place where every time the bathroom door was opened the viewing was interrupted. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the overall experience was well short of the price to stay here.

Excellent golf course! In great shape. Fairly high priced though if you are taking a caddie and they do not let you even take a pull cart. Odd. Food pretty good, but VERY expensive. Would go back, but only with a significant price drop...Staff very friendly, stayed overnight, great spot.

Everyone here is so friendly. Beautiful rolling hills in the heart of the Kettle Moraine left by melting glaciers. This must be God's Country, he even left it in the shadows of the Holy Hill monastery.

Amazing course. Host of the US Open. I had a chance to play here. Course conditions were terrific and my caddie, Wyatt, was extremely helpful as well as personable as well. We ended up playing the Kettle 5 hole (highly recommend) as well as the 12 hole putting at night.

Food was terrific as well. The cheese curds are a MUST.

I highly recommend getting here early to experience the short game area, range, and also check out the clubhouse/gift shop.

Lastly, make sure you stop by the Justin Thomas plaque on 18. His shot from there to land a few feet from the flag is amazing.

Definitely one of the best golf days of my life.

Best course in Wisconsin, and it's not really even close. I'd recommend a caddy as it definitely adds to the experience. Lots of cool stories about the original layout. The ninth hole is one of the best short par 3s in the world, and 15 one of the best short 4s. My only qualm with erin is the affordability, but I understand from a business perspective that they don't necessarily want more play if it might sacrifice conditions. An all-day or twilight rate maybe once a month would be a great way to get more locals and golf enthusiasts to embrace it even more. But all in all a wonderful golf experience, golf as it is truly meant to be.

This is where they held the 2017 US Open. It is a challenging course. The rough is fescue and penalizing. It is walking only, no push/pull carts. There are forecaddies that can make it a unnerving to swing away, as they sometimes don't see your shot coming. It isn't too long a course from the blue tees, but you need to hit straight and get some carry. White tees can give you lots of birdie opportunities. Bunkers can be tough. Most tee boxes are elevated, and the microwalk up can get your heartbeat up. Most folks don't seem to like to carry their clubs here.

Big time golf course and a place to get away from it all! Playing the 2017 United States open venue is a challenge but from the moment you pull into the property a pleasure. Exceptional caddies, great food, a staff that excudes knowledge and clearly love where they work. They take a pride in this place that is hard to find at world class golf facilities. The conditions are beautiful, the greens are smooth , wide fairways and goegeous golden fescue!

So happy to have a fescue rescue, the signature drink of the course!
