Waited several hours, even though place wasn't crowded at all. Social worker rushed us through process before telling us there wasn't anything they could do since we weren't a pregnant woman. First time I've ever been there and last time too! Would rather live in the streets and eat garbage out of the trash, then ever waste hours for nothing. Unless your a woman with babies or pregnant don't waste your time. Your better off begging in the streets.
They are straight to it. Every option. Every standard. All the way versatile and understanding representatives. Fully loaded go team.
They r good ppl tht helps u. But I was refused help after a week of help with them. I was still homless
Amazing place helped when I had no where else to turn
Their help with the people who are homeless is phenomenal!! I loved it when I was homeless in Erie, PA, (In 2019.) For they helped me.
I, unfortunately, have needed their assistance for the past few months. I found out about their services by chance, even though I often walked by their office and wondered about what services they offered. Without going into detail about my ShitShow of a Life .... Staring: Me! ......... WOW!!!! They were AMAZING from the moment I walked in the door!!! I went in with questions about one major issue and had two other issues that were also pressing and the staff was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable that I walked out with THREE very important issues answered & taken care of- when I just thought I might, hopefully, get one question answered!!! And I went in several times after, sometimes needing help and sometimes just needing an important question answered when I had no where else to go, and each time was helped and treated with kindness and respect- which was very much appreciated!!! They really came through for me when I had no where else to turn ....... And I can't thank them enough.
Good organization, but to restrictive as to what they will and won't do. Also doesn't always properly explain what they mean when they put funding forth for certain things. They are fair but don't notify people when they cut off funding that they gave to their consumer. Also rarely returns calls. But will however help people out with funding to buy new clothes, etc. I really hope that they become more responsible towards their consumers by returning calls and notifying them when funding is withdrawn. Also I wish they would find the funds to help the consumer to buy decent clothes in case of the consumer getting a job interview and land a job. I also wish that they would help with funds to get the consumer clothes that are seasonal and decent to wear at all times and places. I also attend a church where they wear suits and ties for the services. Also I ask for funding to do my best to be the man that I have to and should be,and that they would help me make a difference in my neighborhood.
I'm being fair and nice, kind, and honest in my assessment of my goals and needs and review of eccm. I can only speak about my experience with them, especially since I moved to Erie.
I also wish that they would help in some way with housing, since vfi will not help, and nobody else can or will help two disabled people with anything, and are not willing to be separated.
Plus I requested a rep payee months ago and I was told that I would be put on the waiting list, but I would have to wait between 6-12 months to be enrolled in that program. I told them to put a hold on my application and to call when there is an open spot, but never received a call and that was close to 13 months ago.
Well I've just one more thing that I can say that I wish they would help with, and that is that I wish they would help with job training and job placement.
They treated me very well. Thanks Erie county care management!
These people just confused the hell out of me. Don't understand why they exist
Manager or something if you have mental issues or something you can check it out for help
Doors are heavy to open no one to help you in or out needs intercom or something
They have developmentally challenged people with service to help them function and have the best chance to be successful
