Envy Nightlife at Route 66 Resort and Casino Review

Fun! Nice hotel, friendly staff, variety of games, kid friendly kid's gamer oomph and childcare.

I walked around the casino I didn't see anyone cleaning the machines so I didn't touch the machine and left. I will not go back.

Hey the bathrooms are open! The 66 express is one of my favorite places. It has diamond quest, Buffalo's, and China shore. My favorite is Diamond quest, I won 1000 free games ! Lately I haven't won much, enough for a treat at the Dq.

They didn't allow out of state patrons. Has plenty of truck parking and gas station food for out of towners.

Their RV park next door is one of the cleanest we have stayed at.

Today was a four star night at the casino slots. I really just came for the drive. I arrived at 11:48pm with only $10 bucks and walked out 32 minutes later with $100.10.

The place was really low key and quiet and I was able to play all my favorite games. If I had to guess, I'd say that 95% of the slot machines were available and the beverage person stopped twice and asked if I want anything.

I was up $120 within the first 10 minutes. I couldn't hit anything else after that and it felt like I was slowly giving my winnings back. So I decided to leave when I was down to the Benjamin.

I went there last night and very disappointed. Food taste like crap and very old food, no flavor in the food, crab legs were soo thin and hardly no crab meat in it. Got a Korean rib steak was hard as rock. Salt pepper shrimp taste soo horrible . I don't think I want to go there again. Turn me off! We also got a table where the floor was soo uneven like earthquake ran through the floors. Been there like 5x but this was the worst experienced.

Worst Casino to ever stand, been trying my luck here for years. It only gets worse, food sucks, the staff is rude, and the tables and machines are the worst in this country. If you go there play the machines in the bathroom, just throw your money in the toilet and make a wish. The place is famous cause it was featured in that movie Hell Or High Water and it used a different name cause it's a joke of a casino. Have fun, and theres zero good luck about it. The staff can be rude, unhelpful and hard to find. There bathrooms are far and few between and they don't have very private areas to play. Not many of the same game so if someone is on the game you like you may not get to play. If your having problems expect to wait awhile before staff comes to help you and they bark orders and expect you to know what they're doing without explaining.

Stop for dinner and a little fun when one has time to stop.

This hotel was a great stop after many days on the road! We were driving a large truck and towing a 34-foot trailer. There is a ton of semi and RV parking. An added bonus is that there was a shuttle that picked us up and drove us to the hotel so that we didn't have to walk across the extremely large parking lot. They also paged the driver to drive us back to our trailer in the semi parking lot at the end of our stay.

We got a large king bedroom on the fourth floor that was nice and quiet. Large TV, walk-in shower, everything you would expect. Took a long hot shower. Great water pressure! We had forgotten to pack some of our toiletries and the front desk gave us razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving cream etcetera. They were so nice! We had drinks at the 360-degree bar and then had dinner at Thunder Road. It was very good! Will definitely be stopping here again! The staff is extremely friendly and the service is great.

A good place too for a quick stop for food, entertainment and casino in case you've been driving for a long time.

A little bit out of the way but that's a pretty nice place it's just quite a ways out but it's nice

Played many machines none of them were hitting bonus spins or paying out but they are consistent every time I come here its the same sad

We drove out from Albuquerque and it was fun, nice atmosphere, plenty of games to play, and staff was friendly. Nice evening out. Just not a lot of winning unless you are placing high bets.

As of now I gave it 4 stars being that I have not stayed in the hotel yet.
The restaurants and gaming floor are great. Some of the stuff looked like they were having a bad day or didn't want to be there. Nice and clean place. Needs a covered parking section for the hot summer days.
I will add to this review after I stay a weekend in the hotel.

Legends Theater is the best concert venue in New Mexico. Top quality acts, and the best entertainment staff, hands down. Todd Edkins has made taken this venue into a whole new level

Nothing fancy. Easy Poker Room. Good truck parking.

Overall wasn't too bad. I was able to wash my truck and take my time. However the machine to get the accessories to do the windows,armor all, etc. It was out of order. I wasn't able to do the other stuff that I wanted to.

I was at a car show and the weather had gotten the security staff let us in the building for the award ceremony.

It was easy to go in. The staff there were good in greeding us and making sure the machines were wipr before you sat down.

Nice casino quite smokey super tight machines and I mean TIGHT extremely low payback. Staff varies from very friendly to very rude just luck of the draw. Also a beer is $5.14. The buffet is $28 plus tax so quite pricey

Dog walk/ dog wash, grill pavillion, clean level sites with modern hookups ($60), first timer discounts, nice staff.

It's a nice facility but seems like the machines just take money. never seem to win on low bets or maximum bets, it's no fun when you don't win sometimes.

Great time here, the buffet was really good, I was shocked to see how big the restaurant was, awesome service!! They have a arcade, and the supervisor on duty was really awesome to talk to and very helpful and patient with the kids when picking out there ticket items they wanted, was really surprised to learn they offer child care so the parents can enjoy some adult time in the casino.

Their luncheon buffet is the bomb. So many food items to choose from. Come here hungry!

Everything pretty much was okay. Except the bellhop drop the laptop computer and they never did get back with us to view the cameras to see exactly what happened. Had just bought the laptop brand new never had a chance to use it

$9 is what I went in with, but I left with a memory that will never leave my heart. Your stepping stones in your gift shop have the best meaningful sayings that I needed to hear/ read since my son passed away, I hope to have more money the next time and you have them still so that I could get them. By the way, I lost the money but gained memories. Thank you.

Not to be mean or judgemental but the buffet has a new look but the same taste honestly Golden Coral does it better and food taste fresher

It's okay as far as a casino is concerned. Games state 80% payout but it seems way tighter. I'll come again just because they take care of the place.

This is my favorite casino I love to stay there service is great food is great games are greedy people are nice I just enjoy myself all the way around and not to mention I love the pool

Buffett has a lot of choices. Food is very average, exception being the meat counter and desserts. The atmosphere and servers are on point. Convenient access to parking so you don't have to drag your kids through the casino.

The casino used but great for last fifteen years but now more employees than players and most of them playing for a nickel. They have great location. Basically must have changed management. Play at your own risk.

Route 66 is a gem of New Mexico. The one of the best attractions whether you're gambling or not. First of all there's multiple restaurants to choose from, frequent music and entertainment acts, a very nice hotel with a good view over the city complete with a swimming pool, and the best part of all there's hourly child care so you can drop your kids off while you have your entertainment. Highly recommended and not to be missed. And the food at the buffet is outstanding

Went to Joan Jett concert. Great time had dinner afterwards at steakhouse food was good. They messed up my order but Manager made it right. Great job!

Always fun and security don't keep sweating u cause u look young!
