Really nice stop while traveling the interstate 40...

Really nice stop while traveling the interstate 40 or better know as the historic route 66, the rooms where nice but for some reason felt a little just a little bit outdated but nice overall and the casino was really nice payouts were ok at least they let you play for a while not like some other casinos that take away all your money really fast, and the buffet 66 was really good with asian, american, latin, fresh market aisles and a bakery/pastries section and was really good!! Extra points for having sugar free deserts for people with diabetes like my son so that was nice for him because he was able to enjoy desert, the service was fantastic our server was awesome the whole time we were there.

I wish I could live here. The room was amazing. The staff made the stay even better. Chip, the valet, went above and beyond by helping us with our moving truck. The head housekeeper was awesome too! She was super polite and helped us look for a lost screw from a pair of glasses. I want to be her family!

Love to come here on the weekends had a great atmosphere and a lot of really great people here. Has about 5 places to eat one nightclub and 2 bars. They have updated most of their slot machines to the latest and greatest games! I would recommend it for anyone to check it out and see how you like it!

This review is for the Thunder Road Steakhouse and Cantina. We went there for their Valentines dinner. It seemed like a good deal until we looked at it closer. So we ordered a porterhouse medium and a sirloin also medium. Going back to the beginning. We made reservations which was very easy and accommodating. Our table was ready for us on our arrival but there was some confusion on which table was ours and we were moved after we sat down. No big deal as it was a better table. The server was prompt on creating us and taking our order but that was the last of anything good. When we asked about the special she was hesitant to tell us about it. So we ordered the two steaks. Our order did take as long as expected but was a little over cooked and was very cheap cuts of meat. The steaks had no flavor and we had to do the unthinkable by putting A1 on them. They were very tough to cut and chew. The porterhouse had more fat than I have ever seen on a porterhouse. The sides were very bland. I had a sweet potato and calabacitas. Have you met calabacitas myself several times, I can't imagine how they screwed that up. My sweet potato tasted like orange mush with a hint of flavor. Finally once we were done eating our server checked on us again and suggested a drink for my wife. The drink turned out to be too sweet. She didn't return to our table for 45 minutes. When we told her the drink was too sweet she said she would check with her supervisor. She returned to our table and informed us that there was nothing she could do. So we ask to speak to the manager. The manager saw that the drink was still 90% full and agreed to remove it from our check. the server brought us our new check said nothing to us and just like all the other times refused to make eye contact with us. Both me and my wife have been in the service industry before and try not to be difficult customers with that being said we would expect to be checked on more than two to three times given that we are there for over 2 hours and not get grief when we dislike something that was suggested to us. We were looking forward to spending a longer time there, having more drinks and enjoying the live band and possibly getting a room. However with this experience we will never return.

We stopped in after driving 66 out of Albuquerque and we enjoyed our time here! It was Friday night and lively. The casino was clean and well maintained. There were lots of slots to choose from! I wish there were more roulette tables. Since the one table was packed, we went over and used the video roulette. That was still fun! We had great service on the floor, at the cashier, etc. Overall great experience!

We ate at the Route 66 Buffet last night to celebrate our anniversary. The food quality has really gone down hill.the prime rib was raw and the person carving even said that. and the crab legs were cold. and there was not a supervisor in sight to check on the cooks to see whether they were doing there job. its been awhile since we patronized the buffet and it will be some time in the future before we go again. on a scale of 1-10 i would give it a 2.

I went to eat at the buffet and I sat there for 16 minutes after I asked waitress for silverware to eat my meal. I didn't get any until I got up to complain about the situation. By that time other people with me had finished their meal and mine was cold.
