Love the place love johnny rockets love the game floor. And the hotel.
Must be a resident of NM or a Redskin to go inside.
You can be a Cracked out infected hobo and as long as you live here your welcome inside.
The place is a good thing I love every minute of it they need improve the parking lot
Considering the location (inland, desert) and the price ($35) it's consistently the best option around for casino buffet style snow crab legs. Not too salty, bottomless pit continually filled, never have to wait. Most other stuff on the buffet is decent. Oysters are hit or miss (seasonal?). There is a clam sautee bar ....clams are good but way buttery and salty and there's always a line.
Very clean the place was amazing and the games were fun to play as well. I got in threw the hotel side so there was no line but youchad to get a room of course
Route 66 just reopened and has gone the extra mile in making sure new players can ask for and receive expert advice from knowledgeable staff. Customer safety is key during the pandemic.
This is my favorite casino. The people that around with waters and soda are very polite. People in bingo all know each other. Very sweet people. As far as winnings, I'd say good. I haven't actually stayed in a room there yet. Just play there frequently. There food is pretty good. The buffet is good, snack bar has really good green chilli stew. In bingo, they have the best salsa to dip quesadilla in. Have to get there quick though if you want salsa because they run out fast..
Come and play ......pay seem to me like the house is the only one winning.
Love stopping here, they have a great food selection at the casino and lots of truck parking. Have stopped in quite a few times now and it is my preferred place to stop we hen passing near Albuquerque.
This place is great. Newly remodled Rv park is on of the nicest we have ever seen. Food there not very good table games great. Facility is very clean and staff is helpful
They have a lot of parking but I don't like the odds on their tables and I never do too good here
Such a fun time, we love to travel and vacation in different spots...this place, even though a casino, was family friendly. I have a 3 year old that loves the arcade they have there. A little over stimulating at times, we still had fun stuffing our faces at the largest buffet I've ever seen, playing video games to my daughter's heart's content, swimming in the pool with all the other kids and enjoying all the pretty lights and machines from afar. The only reason I took a star away is because around midnight the fire alarm went off, with a 3 year old it was a big dramatic exit that we had to make down the three flights of stairs out into the parking lot with none of our belongings except a couple blankets because it was cold outside. Me, being a mom and making sure my family was out of any harm's way...I got us as far from the place as we could and into the car in case there was a crazed lunatic around. Waited about 20 minutes in the car before calling the front desk...they didn't give me any reason to believe the issue was resolved and said we could come back inside. Luckily, it was a false alarm, but the fact that we had to go through that almost heart attack induced drama...not my cup of tea. If the gal at the front desk assured me that everything was ok, I wouldn't have let it bother me as much.
Very nice casino People at the prefer a waste too much food
Mad because I was from a nuclear state in that wouldn't let me into Gamble
Review of buffet only: Considering the location (inland, desert) and the price ($35) it's consistently the best option around for casino buffet style snow crab legs. Not too salty, bottomless pit continually filled, never have to wait. Most other stuff on the buffet is decent. Oysters are hit or miss (seasonal?). Certainly far from coastal-fresh seafood, but I go regularly because like I said, best/most economical option in NM.
We'll always choose this hotel when in Albuquerque area. Well appointed room with great bed, reasonable price for food and stay. Staff helpful and a casino that actually plays! Fun variety of slots that kept us entertained. Plus beautiful dramatic New Mexico scenery, a perfect destination for west-east journeys!
Save your money and go to sky City casino this place is overly priced and overrated
Very nice investment and good service and food as well
It was Good Except the machines were not paying out that good I tried several machines but no go I did not see or here of any one Winning
I had a GREAT time at Rd.66 CASINO! Thunder Road Steak house pairs great entrees with local side dishes, like elote (southwest style) corn. The pork ribs were the BOMB!
Love the Cowboy Buffet, it's my family's holiday dinner place.
Very nice casino.Very clean and nice games. Always try to stop when we come this way to Arizona
The buffet not great, lobster over cookec and steak raw. However Jeff Foxworthy awesome!
So ooooo mmmuuuuch fun. Penny slots to big baller tables. Buffet was expansive. Grab a card and get one buffet free. :)
If your a trucker, keep dash cam on, lots of hit and runs here
Lots of video games. Just a few tables. It's all kind of expensive. Nice room. Great bed.
The service was great here ! We ordered the Shrimp Tacos and the Steak and Lobster! The shrimp was cold and undercooked! Although the steak was very tasty !
The buffet at Route 66 is sometimes very good and other times very bad pricing and service also is not the best it used to be a good place to eat at the buffet. Johnny Rockets used to be a good place to eat but now that the prices have gone way out of control and they used to give you french fries with your Burgers now everything is out of cart would not recommend this restaurant either
this casino is cursed they only allow nm residents in. makes no sense. then why do all gas stations in nm allow out of state residents come inside?
Definitely a good place to visit, good food, good games, good service. All around great visit, just wish the buffet had been open.
I wonder if they have any idea how much they will lose by refusing entry to truck drivers. Myself and many thousand others will not ever stop there again.
Love the buffet-and I usually dont care for buffets
It's a safe environment I will come back. I won. Very fun
Not very busy when I went but pretty good size, probably the biggest gaming floor out of all the casinos around ABQ.
So we visited the new location today and it will probably be our last visit the selection has been expanded but the food is still all cold and or so over cooked that you cant cut or chew it. We were the 10th and 11th people in line this visit when they first opened so there really should've been no cold food anywhere? The Mongolian grill and the Poke are freash made and hot but everything else was cold. Disappointing for such a nice place maybe we will try again in a few months to see if anything has changed.
Went for the buffet and all of the Asian food was cold??? It was like that steam table was not turned on for some reason. We eat here about once or twice a month our only complaint is that the food choices are almost always the same at lunchtime it would be nice to have a few different options. Service is always great the staff all seem to really care and are always there if you need anything.
It's a great place for families has something for the children and great buffet
Great meal at rt66 buffett. Service was good. Would definitely return.
Out of the city far enough to get away. Easy on and off I40. Rooms pricey if your a non-gambler. Buffet needs a better location than a conference/ballroom.
Greats slot selection but can do better with keeping a variety of old and new. Keeping old popular slots would be nice.
One of my all time favorite Casino, I always have a blast, The buffet is ok needs some changes in foods but all around good for what you pay for, Now the steak house the prime rib is the best and you can pay to up grade it to what ever size you like and get it served at any temp grilled or blackened.. I cant say enough it is great for all occasions family or couples...
Good place for hrs cash, nice slots machines, overall good service
We just visited the casino, but it wasn't as good as I remembered.
Slots don't really hit and it's kinda far from Albuquerque
They were verey nice and tryed to make sure you received ok and have a card the stakehouse is extremely delicious and comfortable great place for a dinner for 2
OMG! Their buffet offers a variety of foods for a reasonable price. The slots were fun to play and the staff are friendly and professional. I will return there to eat and play! Try it!
Tuesday 2 for 1 Buffet was surprisingly very good! It opens at 11am so the foods were hot n fresh. We only ate for 14.00 for two of us using their coupon otherwise it would have been $34.00! They had a wide variety of choices.
They didn't let me in because I'm not a New Mexico resident so they kick me out and plus they were so disrespectful so don't go there if your not a resident in New Mexico go somewhere eles
We stop in there everytime we travel between Colorado and Arizona. Always lose money. The buffet is pretty good though.
Newly remodeled. Lots of dining options. Plenty of parking. Shuttle service. Great entertainment.
The dealers at this casino are overworked and treated very disrespectfully by management. They can't be expected to do a good job. The director is appalling. He expects everyone to work six days a week, which makes them all grumpy. This is not a fun casino to come to, no thanks to Rich Rose.
Great slot selection table games really crowded but great place to get off of I 40 and take a break from driving
Nice casino I've never won & slots are not lose. Best buffet in town makes up for stiff machines
Good casino friend cashed out but not me but good casino to go have a drink or play some slots only thing I didn't like they don't serve food round the clock I don't get that when it's also a trucker stop.
Always a favorite stop on our way to Flagstaff. Our kids love daycare!
The showroom is a great place to check out a concert or show, great sound. The biggest fault is the oppressively high prices on everything, they know they have you in the middle of nowhere and definitely take advantage of it (i.e. $8 bottles of bud light). The rest of the casino is pretty generic & feels more truck stop than casino.
Tl;Dr- it's fine I guess, but bring your wallet.
Since your dealer Shane appears to hate his job, is absolutely rude and inconsiderate to new players who are GIVING the place money, I definitely will not be back to spend anymore. Snap your fingers and bark like a dog, maybe you need to get out of the CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY SIR! If I could give zero stars I definitely would to that guy. Do yourself a favor and go to the other casinos where the dealers are nice to everyone!
I wanted to extend my stay another night, for my birthday. However, they couldn't accommodate me, because they are filming a TV show there..
Big fun place with great bars and restaurants as well as liberal machines. Great decor. They have parking for trucks.
Great Food
Awesome machines and.great entertainment
Awesome....love all the different slots, Main Street for breakfast has the best food
Went for the buffet. Food was pretty good. Banquet hall had fun decorations. Desserts were very yummy especially the ice cream.
