I've always been a person who has worked out and was committed to staying fit but over the last few years I've tended to be abit lazy as I wasn't excited about my workouts any more. Then someone suggested I look into Envision Fitness and am I ever glad I did. After researching the gym and meeting with Kari Negraiff and Steve Di Tomaso I knew this gym was for me. So in November 2012 I made my fitness commitment to myself.
Steve and Kari are two of the most incredible people in this industry that I've ever met. With their wide base of knowledge, credentials, expertise, 100% commitment to their members results, both health (mind and body) and fitness (strength, performance and body composition) I have gotten back on track and am enjoying every minute of it! Within 6 months I have lost 5 lbs of body fat, gained more muscle mass, strength and leanness than ever before, and they've helped me to do this injury free which is very important as I'm approaching the age of 55.
My initial goals were to perform a chin up and get lean. Well, already I have gone far past that goal. I'm now training for the San Fran 1/2 marathon in the fall with a group of members from Envision with Steve coaching/training us on his own time and dime. After this I hope to attain the goal of completing a Tough Mudder Event, maybe with a team from Envision! Oh, and let's not forget those chin ups, oh, and the inverted kip, oh, and the ................ the list just goes on and on :)
