I would not recommend Shelina at all. My child confided in her an instead of talking to me she report it cps. There were things my child told her that she should have told me about an she didn't. Im also reporting her to the state. Stay away from Shelina.

Do NOT go here! The worst experience I have ever had at a business. I had to get a court ordered evaluation so I made an apt with Shelina Pershad. I showed up and they did not have the correct paperwork so I made another appt and left, fine. Next appt I show up and I sat with her for around 20 minutes as she filled out the evaluation. She did not inform me of any diagnosis other than 2 AA meetings. At the end of the appt she asked me to pay her for the previous appointment in which all I did was wait in the waiting room. I declined to pay her and explained that you cannot charge me for services unrendered. She was visibly upset but I left and paid $350 for the 20 minutes she spent with me for a simple evaluation. After the fact I had to chase her down for the paperwork that I needed ASAP for the court, which I had made known to her at my appt. I spent 3 weeks calling the office and sending emails trying to get my paperwork, a complete headache. When she finally sent the paperwork, she gave a completely different diagnosis and recommendations than what she said at our appt, including 12 sessions that I would have to have with her in order for me to get cleared. At this point I don t have enough time to complete those sessions at that expense, and have left me with no other option than to get a lawyer. Stay far away from this place.

The office was neat and tidy, and the assistant at the front desk was very helpful. Shelina was an absolute professional, and I really appreciate her taking the time to squeeze me in. I can t speak for all, but for what I needed this is the only place I d go.

I cannot think of anyone more qualified than Angie. She is compassionate, knowledgable, and is excellent at listening and then providing a well-thought-out analysis a strategy for moving forward. I like that in her sessions, not only do you have a chance to talk to a listening ear, but there's always some kind of practical take-away. Some kind of challenge to work on whatever goal you may have. I highly recommend her!
I met Shelina through a networking event and was impressed with her devotion to her practice and clients. The wife and I have been talking for a few months about developing a monthly "check in" on our marriage. We have a weekly date nights and yearly dinners with our marriage counselors from church; however, we were looking for something different. After having a one-to-one with Shelina and developing a level of comfort the wife attended the next session. We are both very impressed and delighted to have found someone that we're able to talk to about our relationship. We're three years in to our marriage and the goal is to add many more years to that. To be able to talk out our differences and opinions before they become something detrimental to the marriage is healthy and very reassuring that were being responsible with the life decision that we made.
I have recommended her and her practice to my friends and family. It is comforting to know of a practice that I feel comfortable sending my love ones and those that are in pain.
