Beware beware not a good company
Please do not go with this company. They do not work with you at all. We got into a accident and our truck is gonna be totaled and they want 450 because there insurance is taking there sweet time to get anything done and now they are going to hurt our credit even though the truck will be totaled. Please there are better company s out there that will work with you.
Worked with Brian Anderson and Brian Bellows on multiple deals and always had great experiences and they have always helped me out no matter the situation. They have a bit higher interest rates but they are wonderful to work with and they took a risk on financing a brand new truck for my new company as well as more since. Because of that they will continue getting our business as long as they continue providing a great financial service.
In the beginning ENGS was fine. We had our payments auto deducted so it was no big deal. But don t try to pay them off. Our experience was horrible. First. They charge a 1% per year early payoff PENALTY along with a 200.00 flat fee. This penalty is based on your current balance so needless to say we paid over 5000.00 in penalties just for paying it off early. Would NOT waive the fee even if they would have financed the new truck. So. You expect us to pay interest on a penalty?!?! Also they will take money from your checking account without telling you prior or giving an explanation why. Their insurance department does NOT answer calls or return calls. They still have not refunded the money taken. Needless to say we found another lender. I highly advise you NOT to use them. Our loan was for a commercial truck. So if you need to finance a new semi, ENGS is not the place to do it. They screw the customer.

I keep getting emails from them despite numerous requests to stop contact. I have no need or interest in their services. nor did i sign up for their e-mails in the first place.
Legally in Canada they are required to have an unsubscribe option in their email marketing and they do not. Don't contact this company unless you want to be spammed.
Can t believe what I m reading! Financed 2 or 3 new trailers and never had problems with ENGS!
Would avoid financing with them if at all possible, changed the payoff quote 3 times and penalized for early payoff
I have been waiting for documents to sign off on for the application for 3 days and haven t heard a word back from anyone. I called and spoke with two Marks and a John who was very unhelpful. The process is very very slow and no seems to know anything. I wouldn t recommend them to my enemy! If you re looking to finance I would highly recommend going another route.
EDIT: 06/21/21 a full week and I m still waiting for them to get it together. It s been a week! This has discouraged me from ever doing business with this company in the future.
I have been a customer for them for a while until they fined me for not receiving my insurance, which I actually had and they still would not refund me the fine. I WOULD NOT USE AGAIN. They do not respect their customers.
If you like to wait for days to get documents, then the dealer has to wait for days to get paid, then Engs is the company for you! Poor customer service, people don't like to answer phones or return voice mails. My company will never do business with Engs.
I will recommend all Owner Ops or Carriers not to get finance from this Company. Unprofessional customer service. They keep send you Insurance Admin Fee. We are not sure how many times they need Insurance copy in a single year. None of other Finance companies have this type of Fee.
