Everyone there was professional, polite and helpful! My roommate told me that when meals arrive, I may think I'm in a 5 star restaurant. She was correct! Every meal was delicious and wonderfully presented! When I did not care for a particular one and was able to order ahead of time, the choices were fantastic! Thank you for such kind care....night and day!

Going into an ER is never a fun experience, but ECH staff were all excellent, especially Brian who got the IV started easily (appreciate that).
From registration to getting into a room was quick (sorry for saying that "Q" word)! Ethan did an excellent job with the CT too. All in all, if you need to be seen, this is the place to go.

My husband was in Englewood Hospital for 13 days and received excellent care from everyone! He was in the PCU and all of his nurses were wonderful! I would like to list names, but would most likely miss someone. It was a very difficult time for my husband and me, but everyone went beyond in caring for my husband and for me as well. The hospitalists (all 3 of them) were great & listened when we ask questions and shared our feelings & ideas of how to help, and tried to give the best advice for my husband's care.. All staff were professional, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and just amazing in their care & concern.! All tried to see that we received the best care. Dr. Upendram was great also. Security, volunteers, welcome desk, cafeteria people, all were wonderful at their jobs. We moved here a year & a half ago, and looked into hospital choices & chose Englewood. We sure are glad we did. It is an excellent hospital with excellent staff & care!

Since the Hospital has a great reputation, I was not surprised by the excellent medical care I received for the outpatient procedure. The calm, super helpful and natural friendly way the staff treated me though was a surprise. It almost felt like a family atmosphere and I appreciated that very much. Great people. Thank you.

My sister was admitted to this hospital and put in the ICU. We couldn't have asked for better nurses and doctors that took care of her. We made a decision to put her in hospice from the ICU. They transferred her to her own room at Englewood Community Hospital and we were ale to stay with her 24 hrs a day. We were given chairs to accommodate everyone. They brought us coffee, snacks, water and dinner. The nurses that took care of my sister were very compassionate and actually took care of us too. By no means was this an easy decision but we would not have done this any differently and am so glad that we chose this hospital to take care of our sister.

Completely falsified my medical record. Used information from my admission almost a year ago without verifying anything with me, when most of my medications, etc. had changed.
Medical record stated that I had a primary complaint of abdominal pain, when I repeatedly told everyone that I encountered that I was having no pain, only nausea and vomiting. Failed to treat my acute symptoms, however, also never offered me any medication for my so-called "pain". Told me I needed my gall bladder removed "immediately" and transferred me to another hospital to have that done. Guess what? I still have my gall bladder. The other hospital said it didn't need to be removed, or even treated, other than with antibiotics, which I took, and am perfectly fine now. So now I will be charged for an ambulance transfer that was completely unnecessary. I went to Englewood Hospital vs. a larger hospital because they had treated me so well in the past. Never again.

My hubby was brought in by ambulance after a fall at home. CT scan showed a possible bleed in his head and he was shipped to Sarasota trauma hospital. Both hospitals are absolutely fantastic. They both took such good care of him. Englewood saved my life about 20 years ago so I've always been extremely satisfied with their service.
