So picturesque, this place is like staying in the mountains, but with all the luxuries. Even on a cloudy day the views driving in were amazing. Rooms are very nice and the service here is excellent.

This is one of the most tranquil resorts I ve visited. If you want to get away and relax, this is the place to go. There s several great restaurants on the property, a golf course, and a large spa (called Mii Amo). Check out the boutique shop in the resort lobby lots of beautiful treasures in there.

Enchantment actually charged my credit card at the time of booking for one-half of the total price.

I called to cancel due to the Slide Fire being only a few miles away from the resort, explaining that I have severe asthma and any smell of smoke would make for an unpleasant or even impossible stay.

They had the audacity to tell me that they would not refund it because I called only 5 days in advance and their policy is one week or no refunds.

Also, every time I called the hold time to speak to someone was well over 10 minutes.

Charging in advance, inflexible cancellations even in the event of a natural disaster, and poor customer service. Hated it.

We had the most measured expectations coming into staying at this place for spring break. It was one week, no specific plan other than to relax and enjoy the beautiful views with our 2 kids (3 & 8yo). It was ~$500 dollars a night but we figured a splurge would be worth it to have a carefree and relaxing visit. We asked specifically if our room would have a view and were told that it did. Upon arrival we checked into a casita that looked out onto a parking lot and bushes. It was one large room with no fridge, a real challenge for 2 adults and 2 kids. We called the front desk and were told there was nothing else they could switch us to. We finally arranged to switch into 2 adjoining rooms with a view 3 days into our trip and pay the additional expense (Adding many hundreds of dollars onto our total cost). At no point throughout this experience did the management (Ricardo and Morgan) offer anything additional to make up for the problems we encountered. A five dollar gift card to the bar would have made a difference. It was clear they just DO NOT CARE IF PEOPLE ARE SATISFIED. We ve got the rocks, love it our leave it . They even tried to charge us for a minifridge. Because wifi and cell service doesn t work here we were limited in finding additional accommodations and ended up giving up and staying. In addition to this, we would leave from 9-3pm and come home to find our room unmade. Other issues: inattentive staff at restaurants, strangers in cowboy hats walking into our room, and leaking shower. The views are great in the surrounding areas but you don t need to stay here to enjoy them. SKIP THIS PLACE overpriced, inattentive, house of blah!!! Thanks for making our vacation much more difficult than it should have been.

Amazing, perfect vacation. The villas were comfortable and well- appointed. The views were breath- taking. The restaurants were all great. Service was impeccable. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and honestly felt as though they wanted us back. The spa was ahhhhhh! We want to go back and stay there. We thought we'd leave and explore other places in Sedona during our week there, bu because we had planned hikes and other activities at the resort, we just didn't want to leave.

We know Sedona very well. Our choice of resorts in Sedona is consistently The Enchantment Resort. It is truly a 5 star, world class, resort. The name says it all. The atmosphere is enchanting. Just as one can sit and stare at the ocean for hours, you can relax and stare at Boynton Canyon. The view is hypnotizing. The attention to detail is impressive. If something is not to your satisfaction the staff will make it right. If you are looking for a resort that truly captures the Sedona spirit, the Enchantment Resort should be your choice. The only negative we have ever found is due to the secluded location. The cell phone coverage on the resort is spotty. This problem can be resolved by using VOIP. The Wifi is very good on the resort. The golf course (Seven Canyons ) has spectacular views. If you try The Enchantment Resort you will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Enchantment. The resort is so private and absolutely beautiful. The service and food were outstanding with such attention to detail. We hiked the Canyon and Matthew took great care of us; he provided a map, water, walking sticks and drop off/pick up service in the golf cart. We look forward to returning one day soon as it was a true escape from reality!

I don t know how I am ever going to leave without promising to myself lll make the trip back. I ve never had a more peaceful, relaxing, calm resort experience. The staff were amazing. The views were beyond. And the Casitas were clean, big, and provided the perfect place to begin and end a day.

Spectacular visit to Enchantment and Mii Amo! Great staff!!

My husband and I had a most unusual stay in late September 2019: thanks to the management's attentiveness, our initial absence of the usual welcome and orientation transformed into an outpouring of kindness, assistance and genuine hospitality.

We were enveloped in the energy and authenticity of this resort. The general directors/managers (Enchantment: Stan Kantowski & at Mii Amo: Jim Root) could not have been more gracious, informative and genuinely caring, making us feel they were truly happy we were guests. Enchantment's director of lodging, Terry Spalding, even accompanied us on the walk to the Boynton Canyon Vortex, making the always incredible experience, an unforgettable time with his friendliness and enthusiasm.

We loved not being able to have mobile phone service and the "ban" on their use in Mii Amo's public spaces. There is Wifi in the rooms and we could check email and the internet, but what a true respite not to be receiving texts and phone calls for several days! The resort offers free calls anywhere in the US, so one is never cut off.

The most incredible experience was the Fall Equinox Celebration in the kiva at Mii Amo. We can not express adequately our gratitude to Don Decker, the Apache elder who led the celebration, and to his son, Charles, artist-in-residence at Mii Amo.

We have many shout-outs for the staff and hope that we do not forget anyone who provided us with outstanding service. First at Enchantment: Roger, Ricardo, Mulya, Kady, Anesha, and Edadne. At Mii Amo: Brian, Jeremiah, Holly the chef, Jessica, Michael, Karina, Frank, Laura, Diego, Francisco, Kim, Alisa, Caitlin, Adrian, Tamara and Luis.

Would we return? We can't wait to do so and hope it will be very soon.

Customer service was definitely Top Notch everyone's very helpful and nice as well as they do have Wi-Fi across the resort which is good the only thing is that the foods there is honestly a bit overpriced for the amount of quality they provide the food is not disgusting or Nasty but if you're spending $80 for two people we expected the food to taste quite a bit betterhonestly not too sure if the quality is worth the drive to get there

During our eight days at Enchantment, we were especially drawn to Mii Amo Spa and it's fabulous environment. Spectacular restaurant, fresh juice bar, Apache kiva, and wonderful staff.
Thanks to all, and we hope to return soon.

Enchantment Resort does an excellent job of marketing themselves as an all around luxury resort experience, unfortunately this is where the focus of their excellence ends. Upon arrival for a most recent stay we found the staff less than welcoming, the facilities rather dated, tennis courts under construction and minimal precautions ensuring health and safety for their guests during Covid. Rather disappointing all around, and would not recommend for anyone looking for a luxury resort experience in beautiful Sedona.

Understaffed. Slow. Never got a clean glass with a drink. I think it s overrated and they prey for older crowd who don t review.

They block the cell reception or it s just a perfect black hole just in the resort without reception. They offer WiFi - it didn t work my entire stay even after asking three times for it and promised IT people. Food is a little meh too.

At $550 per night, I ve never seen dirty consistent glasses, and slow bottleneck service throughout. And no WiFi, and untrained staff.

Unfortunately I have to give Enchantment 3 stars this time. It seems it is going downhill. I've stayed there many times over 20 years and while the beautiful location never changes the quality of service has. Last time I stayed I had 4 servers in the restaurant one night, each of whom was clueless about what I'd told the last. They all had smiles (except for one) but repeating myself was tiresome. Hope it gets better. Also the faux Native American patronage really rubbed me the wrong way (they should ditch the teepee--they are not Native).

Amazing property- one of kind location. We arrived the night before our wedding- and our room wasn t ready until 7pm- we had to change clothes for dinner in their parking lot. Room service completely failed to bring an order twice. The bed is in a closet like a Murphy bed and the mattress is incredibly uncomfortable. However, the wild mule deer and havalinas were adorable.

Really awesome spot nestled into the landscape around Sedona. Resort seems high end and well kept. Ate at Tii Gavo with some friends and thought the food was excellent. Food was a bit pricey, but delicious. I highly recommend the tamales with short rib.

We had a fabulous stay at Enchantment. The resort is set into a canyon so you are surrounding by red rocks making sunset a beautiful experience. We were greeted immediately upon arriving at check in and they took care of getting our car parked, took us in a golf cart with all our bags to our room fully explaining all the features of the resort. We had a cocktail at the 180 View to watch the sunset then went to the Tii Gavo dining area for a wonderful dinner. Everything is a bit pricey but the quality was there. The lobby and dining areas are beautiful as well as the pool area. Our rooms were super spacious with luxurious decor. They really think of everything there - water bottle refill stations, communal sun screen bottle at the pool, maps for hiking, golf cart drives as needed. And everyone was so helpful. Can't afford it all the time but what a treat!

The location of this resort is unbeatable, with breathtaking views of the neighboring red rocks and a couple of hiking trails within walking distance. The amenities are also excellent - I particularly enjoyed the open air swimming pool: the views are absolutely gorgeous, water temperature was perfect, and the pool was a great size. The tennis courts also looked super nice. The resort is unfortunately severely let down in the service department, which we found uninterested and uncaring. We got minimalist and uninformative responses when calling the spa with questions. Staff seemed to generally engage on the basis of a script and look unhappy. And when I pointed out that we were disappointed with service at check out, I got a generic "sorry", not even enquiring on what went wrong. Room service was generally tasty but not remarkable. I think this place is perfect if you come with the right expectations and focus on the beauty around you, which is stunning.

The Sedona Enchantement facility has outstanding views. The complex needs to be re done. The facility is tired and management does not seem present. Countless things went wrong with our stay and the main manager (Stan) never contacted us. The staff at the front desk tried to help as much as they could. The room was dirty; however, it was cleaned once we highlighted the cob webs in the room. We scheduled outings before our arrival and while they were confirmed by Enchantwment in writing the establishment made a mistake. The outing was at another time which conflicted with a spa appointment that was also booked by enchantement. Restaurants are under staffed to handle the demand. In summary a horrible experience. I can t believe this is a 5 star resort.

Stunning resort. Highlights are the superb location the beautiful breakfast / dinner rooms and great service. Also, pool is very pleasant. Rooms could be more up to date and I found the dinner menu choices fairly limited. Internet is suboptimal and many rooms have no cellular coverage. It is sometimes nice to be isolated in such a beautiful location.

The physical setting of the resort is magnificent ...

The physical setting of the resort is magnificent and the room we were in was recently redecorated and spacious. But the furnishings were quite uninspired. The draperies consisted of a black out curtain normally found in a Holiday Inn. The squeaky patio screen door also needs attention. The chilly bathroom floor needs radiant heat not just a floor mat from Bed Bath and Beyond. The television is at least 10 years old and should be replaced with a smart TV. Charging for a movie is so 1990s. Turn down service should not have to be requested and even when it is it is hit or miss if anyone will show up. God forbid they splurge for a thin mint on the pillow. A requested ice bucket arrived 45 minutes later; a request necessitated by a broken ice machine available to guests going unfixed during most of our stay. The lobby space is taken up with restaurants and the gift shop leaving guests nowhere to sit if they are not buying something. The upscale restaurant was fine, but the southwest Tii Gavo needs work. We knew we were in trouble when we requested a sangria and it was beyond the bar s competence to make one. The menu touts its gluten free offerings but those turn out to be broken Scoops chips. A five star resort should consider the purchase of a second fryolator to avoid cross contamination or source a better gluten free chip. But that is the problem here, everything seems to be done on the cheap.

Our room rate was $1800 a night. This was something I was willing to pay to enjoy the amenities offered at this resort. I however couldn t get dinner or spa reservations For the entire length of our stay even though I called 10 days before our check-in date. The spa and restaurant was fully booked for the entire weekend. We had to drive off property to get a massage and to eat dinner. The beds were Hard as rocks and some of the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in and sheets were rough and stiff. We went for a hike with our children and had to use the bathroom. When we walked into the spa building we were yelled at for having children with us and told to turn around. To put the icing on the cake the front office staff was beyond rude when I needed an extra key even though I had my ID and room was under my name. We will not be staying at this hotel again. At this hefty price there are many other places we can enjoy that can actually provide service to their paying guests.

Not worth the price especially if you are intending to use the spa. The service was poor. They are short staffed, staff is not friendly or hospitable (nobody greets you). Actually some of the staff was rude making our vacation not as enjoyable. Spa services and food offerings are below par. Go somewhere else.

A breathtaking location and serene property, this is a high-end resort with all of the amenities. The rooms are nice, the spa is wonderful, the food is very good, and the staff are friendly and kind. It doesn't get 5-stars in my mind however as it just misses the mark at this (very high) price level in a few places: the service is slow in the restaurants, I had to call in the late afternoon two out of the 4-night stay to remind the staff my room hadn't yet been cleaned, and there were small maintenance issues -- the tub backed up, the toilet paper dispenser was falling off the wall, my key wouldn't open the door one time -- that make it feel like a very good but not 5-star property. Worth the high cost? It is definitely a destination that you will remember. It needs a few details to improve for me to definitely say yes, and yes I'd come back.
