Worst ever. 7 hours later they finally show up. When I called, I was told by Julio that I was gross for wanting to prioritize my transport over a 911 call. I would never do that but are you telling me for 7 hours every truck got re routed. EVERY ONE. More like the dispatch either lost a transport or the company does not have enough truxks.
I commend Emergency Medical Technician Cunningham and his partner for promptly, and decisively delivering me to a medical facility that could provide me with appropriate care. I subsequently learned from others that Cunningham is well known for strong technical skills. I personally also experienced his strong bedside manner. Overall, I felt very safe under Cunningham s care. Congratulations to Empress for having an employee of Cunningham s caliber on your team.
Got a COVID Vaccine that i got an allergic reaction to, which i was close to passing out and fainting from, so i went to lie down at the medical table in the waiting room where Empress Emts checked my temperature and pulse.
I said no to an ambulance ride to the hospital, said no to any further help, definitely received NO treatment whatsoever, and a month later i recieved a bill for $250.00 for lying down in a bed and getting a temperature and stethoscope check.
i was never notified i was going to be charged, and if i had been notified, i would've definitely said no to their laughable "treatment" of lying down and having my temperature checked.
Total scam of a company if they cant be trusted to bill correctly and are pulling scams on vulnerable people like this. Avoid Empress EMS like rotten milk.
NEVER ask for an ambulance in Yonkers. I crashed my car and called the police and ambulance for the woman in the car in front of me who collapsed to the ground, and now I am recieving a bill of $250. FOR WHAT??? I signed a WAIVER OF ALL MEDICAL ATTENTION. youre telling me I have to pay because some girl walked up to my car in a big backpack? I am absolutely disgusted.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! A bus was called to take my grandmother to the ER and was told " it was not a true emergency." How do you turn down service?!? Thankfully after everything was said and done another company took her. As an EMT I'm appalled by the gall it took to do that. Horrible customer service and company.
Do not use this company! They don t care about the people they service and management is disrespectful. Refused to pick up an elderly person, left them alone in the cold for hours and only decided to come after having to call repeatedly. This is the worst experience and they don t deserve to be in business treating human beings this way.
Commendations on the professional care given me as I transferred from WMC Medical Center in Valhalla to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie on 11-17-20. Jonah Mathisson, attendant, and Gustavo Garcia, driver, formed a caring, professional team. The vehicle was in mint condition, had comfortable temperature and the trip ran smoothly. Although I was alone, I felt safe and secure and the transfer was made with my health and security uppermost in mind. Highest rating!

Horrible management... Management though a wrench in my onboarding paperwork over petty issue from back in 2018 when I worked for them as a summer job. Despite, being from what I have hared, bring sort staffed. Thus, I personally think that agency that allegedly needs employees should not attempted to gatekeep.
