Hi just wanna ask kasi me and my canadian partner are planning to get married by September. what will be the requirements to get his Legal capacity to contract marriage? do we have to make appointment first or pwede walk in?? hope someone could answer and help me. thanks.
I called this morning and asked for the office hours and someone said they re open til 3pm, and then on Dec 31, but I doubt that; now that I got there (here), the guard said on the ground floor that it s close, and no details regarding operation are posted, how helpful! You should consider appointing better customer service representative(s) next time or announce closure dates as early as possible so other people don t have to go all the way here for nothing.

Added misery to our lives. My father passed away in Calgary, he is a canadian citizen. We applied for my brother to get a visa so he can at least attend his memorial, these inconsiderate people denied his application. This caused additional heartache to us and especially my mom. We are well capable of funding his trip and his whole family and career is in the Philippines. All we wanted is to be a complete family for my dad. We are extremely disappointed during this saddest time of our lives.
I think some one needs to mention, this listing on google is unclaimed. There is no one from the embassy watching it. If you ask questions here you are not getting answers from embassy staff, only other google users.
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I visited here to apply for my daughter's passport. I had made a mistake on the form , bit they helped me to correct it and I was able to get it submitted very quickly. There was almost nobody in line and the service was prompt and polite. A refreshing change from most other Canadian government offices I've been to.

Giving 5 stars to augment the 1 stars given to the Embassy by other people. Have these same people been to the OTHER Embassy a few blocks down the road? There's no lineup here, there're plenty of seats, don't get too entitled. As far as service goes, especially in Manila, this is as good as you can get.

Due to the current pandemic, the Canadian Embassy in the Philippines (RCBC Plaza, Tower II) is providing services on an appointment-only basis. You can still reach out to them through their social media channels or via email.
It was absolutely wonderful. The staff at the Canadian embassy was amazing.
